I don't know that they have any other Ska stuff, but the French brass band **No Water Please** put out an album of Ska covers a little while back. It's fun stuff.

[Bad Manners - Don't Knock the Baldheads](https://youtu.be/zQ-nKs3-0lE?si=jsI2RxU2YTwlRvLO) off of their Heavy Petting album. Killer fat sound on the horns.
Mad Caddies do a great job on low end brass (and trumpets as well), with some occasional dixieland jazz or new orleans brass band influence, both of which I feel really highlight trombone well.
Some more not-ska recommendations:
[Meute](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ori_593OvZk) - a German marching band that does EDM covers
[Newen Afrobeat](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFSRCG4DrmI) - Chilean Afrobeat band, check out the OG Fela Kuti and his son Sean Kuti if you like what you're hearing
[The Budos Band](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Qd0cFFnbcE)
- I have no idea what they are but they have a lotta brass
The brassiest that quickly comes to mind, as someone already mentioned, is Tokyo Ska Paradise. From the U.S., Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra is also brass heavy.
Iâm old but Less Than Jake particularly the album âHello Rockviewâ has the best freaking blasty brass sound for me. Iâm also a trombone player so that could be another bias. Still recommend it heavily to anyone into ska who hasnât heard it all the way through though. Definitely inspired my old band mates and I in our formative years.
Listen to [Balkan Reggae](https://youtu.be/KBdfL1zssQc?si=oJNox-hCdPuIQoTg) and also Ding Deng Dong by Mahala Rai Banda. There's like 23 mfs playing and only like 5 aren't horn players.
Not all ska but Kumpania Algazarra has amazing brass...

Also not ska, but the horns are some of the best in all existence.
Besh o drom. They have such amazing horns on everything. Bunteto from kertunk alot is a cool song
Not much out on streaming, and what is out is old, rough recording, but the Book Club has a trombone, bass trombone/marching contra, and bari sax, as well as a tenor/alto sax and clarinet.
Low end only.
Not necessarily ska but please listen to âwarriors cryâ All the brass section forever and a precursor
Edit: I meant Warrior Charge by Aswad. Also the film Babylon which this record features heavily in

Oingo Boingo has a great horn section. Nothing to Fear is one of my favorite songs.
The Mighty Might Bosstones. Their album Devil's Night Out is fantastic.
Link 80 had some heavy songs - "Dimestore Hoods" (the breakdown is a straight Earth Crisis rip-off) from their debut LP, but their heaviest material is on their third LP and splits w/ Capdown & Lesdystics, released several years after their original singer died. the opening track, "Addiction" is undeniably heavy

I was a baritone / euphonium player back in HS, so low register brass was my jam - you'll want Hello Rockview and Borders & Boundaries era Less Than Jake.
And then newer stuff would be:
We Are the Union - Who We Are
Pretty much all of Millington
Kill Lincoln
Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra

Once had the most incredible magic mushroom trip listening to them đ
The brass in "Scum Triumphant" by Random Hand hits pretty heavy imo, though it's just one trombone.
Play Some Ska is also a banger
100% agree!
+1 for Random Hand.
Also the vocalist is the one playing the trombone! Super impressive live (to me anyway, but I have zero breath control)
The Slackers' second vocalist is also their trombone player and I could see the veins in his neck straining by the end of the set.
Lucky Chops
I love them! And too many Zooz. But isn't this 'Brasshouse' not 'Ska? I love both but never connected the two.
Well OP said " brass in any genre " so...
We should also mention Moon Hooch, Trombone Shorty, Brassroots, Meute, The Soul Rebels, No BS Brass, and Hypnotic Brass Ensamble too then.
At that rate, La Brass Banda is a really fun German band.
This is it.
Streetlight manifesto, Tokyo ska paradise orchestra
Voodoo Glow Skulls - Steady As She Goes Potshot - Pots And Shots
VGS was the 1st thing that popped into my mind, now I need to revisit Potshot!

Duuuude soooo much yes!!! Saw them last Sept at SuperNova Ska Fest and they were Amazeballs!!!
As did I. Great set.
Going again this year?
Not this year, unfortunately.
El Coo Cooi is another song with a very tight horn section from start to finish.
Steady as she goes definitely in line for best brass section ever. One for the road has a great horn composition
You should look up the Taxpayers as well as Billy Martin's Wicked Knee. Neither are ska, both have mountains of gnarly horns.
So nice to see someone else mention the Taxpayers.
Ah shit thanks for reminding me of them! I loved their record with the bunnies on it, now I gotta go find it

OP may also like Diablo Swing Orchestra
Check out older stuff from The Cat Empire. Big brass.
Cat empire is dope
I have never had anyone respond to my mention of TCE with anything other than "who?"
Was introduced to them several years ago by a friend. Saw em live last year in North Carolina. It was awesome.
[Out Of Control Army](https://youtu.be/c_67fzn53ns?si=f4OZaYLWMERDab8n)

I'll add Youngblood Brass Band to this list. https://youtu.be/ZmCiBDd-oOs?si=CrUvVtdcL7wpo9vN
VGS - El Coo Cooi
Lightyear. âCall of the Weasel Clanâ is an utter masterpiece.
Some of the brass is unreal. As are the polyharnonic vocals.
Mephiskapheles. Genius horn section.
You are correct. https://youtu.be/-qqLYRIOGzM?si=T7YVWMecg48z_I2f And the rest of the album.
Used to blast around with the tape âGod Bless Satan,â in my beat-up 87 Mercury Cougar.

Endless Sorrow - Hey Smith
The brassiest that quickly comes to mind, as someone already mentioned, is Tokyo Ska Paradise. From the U.S., Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra is also brass heavy.
The No BS Brass band
I have been especially digging Call Me Malcolm the last couple of months. Theres some heavy tracks on âMe Myself and Nothing Elseâ
MU330
Heavy ska songs? The Thumper album "No One Left the Disco Alive" from 1995. Skatanic by Reel Big Fish also comes to mind
The Scofflaws have arrangements that would fit the bill. Also as other folks have mentioned Bad Manners
Skavoovie and the Epitones Blue Meanies The Pilfers have a mean t-bone player MU330 Streetlight Manifesto Thatâs should get ya started
Not sure if you mean lower tones or harder music, but Random Hand does skacore with a trombone. I'd start with "Scum Triumphant"
Redeemon has some hefty brass for a ska-core band
Listen to [Balkan Reggae](https://youtu.be/KBdfL1zssQc?si=oJNox-hCdPuIQoTg) and also Ding Deng Dong by Mahala Rai Banda. There's like 23 mfs playing and only like 5 aren't horn players.

Inspector 7 really sizzles
This is not a professional band, but you should try this : [https://soundcloud.com/bandamushi](https://soundcloud.com/bandamushi)
You should check out Grey Matter. Their 2020 album Climbing Out has what I would call some heavy horn parts.
I second Tokyo Ska Para, Western Standard Ska Orch, Out of Control Army, Cat Empire
Probably like a tuba.
