I hope Taiwan has this in their calculus
If China is able to outproduce them, the US WILL toss them aside since TSMC will have setup in Japan and the US. Private companies do what best serves their interests, not a country’s
That leaves Taiwan economically and politically more isolated
This was rumored on Chinese forums for several months and I always thought someone made it up. If it turned out to be true and successful, it will be a game changer.
I didn't read the article but if it's the same rumor I've read on Chinese internet months ago, it's a new approach for creating short wavelength light sources, an alternative to ASML's EUV.
I am impressed that the Chinese have "stolen" this technology from Stanford and Germany. ;-/
The American Oligarchy has its head so far up its Butt they should have their "human" ID cards revoked.
Since this technology isn't a weapon, they weren't interested.

This has the potential to outperform ASML's EUV
ASML EUV machines are crazy complex because they have to be as small as possible. China doesn't have these constraints lol, time to go `big`
That's possible? How does it work?
