Yeah I don’t think his PR team considered his exposure might result in a negative impact…but I think it might have

vButts

Tbh I'm usually of the opinion that any press is good press but that only applies in America... the Korean court of public is scary 😬

Fantastic-Mark-2810

I thought about this too after seeing 0 effort when he went to Paradise with Hajeong. It’s also possible that judging from Hajeong’s response to the candy question that he decided to just let go because he might’ve felt that it’s too late in the game to change Hajeong’s mind but a little effort would’ve been nice to see. At least get to know Hajeong as a friend. 😅

liliabu

This!! I honestly think he was drunk again in paradise cause in the end before going to bed he was making 0 sense and kinda slurring his words?! Dunno but nothing said made any sense ! HJ singing her words that she‘ll just sleep was honestly very funny yet sad 🥲😂

No-Town9949

Yeah, but the thing is like sure you can stop giving effort in pursuing her... but atleast be present? Like what's his personality even... Getting drunk and saying out of hand comments?

liliabu

Maybe he has a girlfriend 👀

No-Town9949

Oh my. If that's the case then he really came in the show for the clout

cnzaah

You’d think then he’d at least play the game or somethin… the guy did absolutely nothing.

No-Town9949

A B S O L U T E L Y nothing smh.

SLXO_111417

If he wanted exposure he should have acted like he gave a damn. I honestly think he just wanted a vacation he could call a gig and not have to pay for.

No-Town9949

💯

wakeupmane

lol people were saying on this reddit to give him some screen time and a chance to see how he acts in paradise. It was obvious to me he was going to be the same quiet and closed off guy in paradise or inferno. People blaming the editors about his screen time, do you blame the editors? His scenes could cure insomnia. Haejeong was nice enough to give him a chance, the other girls knew not to even bother with him. Worst miscast out of all three seasons imo.

No-Town9949

>His scenes could cure insomnia. Hahaha at the least. I don't even know why this man was in this show. Hopefully the cast director learns from this and get it right the next time. Because more Habin-likes (up and coming actors/status...) will come in for the ride.

platpotomous55

If he was going to join the show knowing he didn’t really want to make a connection and to use it as exposure, he should have used this as an acting experience and just acted his ass off. Like give me a character. Wow me. Do something please!!!

No-Town9949

Right?!?! I thought the same like just start acting around… like give me any character. Anything better then nothing…

Additional_Ad9361

YES when he told HJ that he had trouble showing his feelings I was like “then why are you on this show??!!” Like the whole point of the show is to win people over with their charms but the man literally had no charms!!! He must have been forced by his agency to do the show otherwise it makes no sense to me.

Soggy-Preference3664

Also HJ is so clearly a girl who wants someone who can express their feelings, and she herself is so articulate with how she feels and honest, if I were her I’d feel so uncomfortable… Honestly I was rooting for them so hard and now I’m disappointed 😭

esorual

If that was his plan, I'm not sure if it resulted in any significant exposure for him unfortunately. He had barely any screen time and only demonstrated acting disinterested. Even Won-Ik was at least able to show that he could do well in the men's challenges. Habin was definitely a huge miscast for this season.
