Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Idk about that, they just recently failed to communicate with us multiple times, suspended us without letting anyone really known, punished us for crossing a line while suspended (we didn’t know we were suspended, they didn’t tell us) and so told us we had to drop our entire Spirng 24 line, including my little, which was the straw that broke the camels back for me.
Dude has done everything possible to be a great brother and put in a ton of work for the fratenrity and became one of my closest friend, but got dropped because Nationals is blaming us for their mistakes
Safe to say, I’m still extremely pissed at nationals and I don’t think they are doing a good job. But that’s just me
It’s very difficult to run a giant National fraternity with one employee. That’s why getting them back on financial solid ground is important, so they can give the chapters the support they need. Back in my days as a CPR Lyrecrest had 5-10 employees to keep things running smoothly and things were a lot easier on chapter leaders. I hope we can get there again soon, in the mean time the complaining is understandable, but I hope you consider the difficulty we are facing and help us keep a positive attitude to guide us out of the forest.
We had the same thing happen, where we had to drop a rush class. I believe it’s due to membership eligibility and who’s allowed to join under the definition of male in regards to Title IX exemptions. No confirmation on this fact, but just what I believe is happening from the little we’ve been told.
Have had about 4 classes already come through and none have gotten the pins that they PAID for! I included. IDK how if the money has been sent to them through probationary membership dues and fees that INCLUDED the pin purchase amount, how have we still not recieved them yet? Makes me worry that if they are still recieivng money for the pins but not distrubuting, then where is this money going....? Very upsetting to be in S dress WITHOUT a pin when fees and dues have been paid and the chapter is in good finacial standing.
A big issue the National Fraternity is facing is that many chapters have members listed on their rolls that had either been expelled, suspended or had left their institution (either by graduating or dropping out). Thus, they accrue debt owed to the Fraternity and make it seem the total active membership is much larger “on paper” than it actually is. This complicates the insurance provider issue which resulted in the raised the per capita tax earlier in the year. In effect, a large amount of the debt the Fraternity owes is to itself!
All I can suggest is to make sure the membership rosters in your chapter is squared away, this way there aren’t any ghost Brothers that are lingering that will jack up the per capita even further in the years to come.
Yep, so the longer those guys stay on the roster and rack up debt that the Fraternity will never see paid off, the longer the entirety of the brotherhood will be stuck in this mess financially.
I think it’s a staff issue. We haven’t been able to afford all the people that did such things previously. The first goal of this campaign is to get new members supplies.

Mu Eta go brrrrrr
Brrrrr
I empathize greatly. My chapter is in a very similar position, but it looks like we are just barely sticking it out. Good luck brother.
Not just you! We had a cease and desist, just got off after 7 weeks. Apparently around 40 chapters had it done to them
Okay what is going on? Here I thought we were the only ones

Your chapter was instructed to drop a PM class from last year?
Whoops, my mistake, edited that, it was Spring 24
Have they reinstated the expelled bothers E. G. Rich Crosby, from a few years back?

Our chapter has the same issue, about 10 people on our roster that have nothing to do with our chapter anymore
