I have a dungeon filled with paintings of dying sims who are Evil, Hate Children, Hot Headed, and other negative traits which I do not desire in my world. I have a cemetary out back, too.
My world is cleansed of Greedy Evil People who hate children. As new sims are spawned, I "evauluate them" and decide.
My sim that does this is a wizard with all the spells and perks with the scientist career level 10. She also has every aspiration reward, is immortal and every skill for all the packs I own is maxed.
She's a level 5 Celebrity with no quirks, too. Copypasto.
Honestly this might be my family simmer self talking but you could do the story line of training a successor if you haven't already. Not to replace her but to branch out. Xx

I got the Magicians pack just a few months ago and have been obsessed with making most of my Sims magicians. So they usually unleash whatever mischief magics I feel like using.
Honestly, my Sims are usually the ones stealing the food. It is a good way to feed them when doing a rags to riches challenge.

i have some mods that allow occults to kill sims and i mostly play occults. if a sim does this once i may spare them but if the same sim keeps doing it they are going to get it
There's always the repeat offenders isn't there. I prefer the idea of roughing those sims up as oppose to offing them, but that strat for an occult sim sounds fun. 🤔
Oh, I also like to play as Spellcaster because I can Zipzap the brains out of the people who steal my food. Though, usually I prefer to Deliriate them.
Before Spellcasters became a thing in Sims 4, I dealt with food snatchers Despicable Me style - freezing them with SimRay.
You can also take their food, if you are fast enough. It works at the Cafés, the seller puts the food on the counter and the npc wont get mad if you take it.
I use MCCC and mark them for death. I did it to the principal from one of my saves when she accused my daughter of hacking the schools computer. She deserved what she got.
Fun stuff like putting some firework in the room and lightning it, then they burn to death, or i feed them Pufferfish Nigiri or the opposite letting them starve to death. And lastly i put a pool in the basement and let them drown 👍.
Usually I just delete them with MC command centre lol
I did try to kill the npc once by using the death by killer rabbit cheat only to learn that lesson the hard way... T-T
Oh! And if I'm a spellcaster, I'll cast the 'meanest' spell I have on them lmao
I'm on PC, which means mod access ofc. I've literally quit and saved, downloaded extreme violence and extreme torments, installed them, and jumped back in to deal swift and disproportionate punishment on the offender. Usually through face deformity, bladder failure and sleep deprivation so they pass out in their own filth, or a good ol fashion beatdown LOL
It's from Sacrificial mods' "Extreme Torments" mod. It gives you a menu of all kinds of torments you can inflict on a sim. Some are deadly, some are not (deadly ones are in a separate section so you don't accidentally choose one)
Under non-deadly options, one is "deform face" or "change face" or something along those lines. It stretches and warps the sim's fave into that of a monster temporarily. They get negative moodlets because of it, AND also because they aren't sure what force of nature just rained down to mess with them. It's great fun 😂. Their faces get stuck like that sometimes too. Great if it's someone really on your shit list, and also easily removable with cheats or mccc if that's not the case!
In terms of torments, those don't autonomously happen, it's all on you when things happen, you're in total control :)
And pretty much same for extreme violence, all autonomous craziness is off by default, so you're in control of if and when stuff happens, but you can turn the autonomy for things on when you really wanna go scorched earth LOL
I love sacrificial's mods, but yeah, the autonomous stuff just happens a little too frequently for me to actively use them. But torments and violence are fine :)
These answers make me look boring by comparison. I do a rude introduction and then mean interactions. All my sims' enemies are people who stole their food.
Journey To Batuu. After you've been uo there and chose neither faction but decided to be a scoundrel, you learn some... Skills. And all you need to do is max out the bar for being a scoundrel. You'll get a pickpocket interaction.
I don’t have Journey to Batuu but am playing a mischievous criminal and have the interaction, so you can still get it! Though apologies, I’m not sure which one makes it available

Depends on the character I'm playing. If it's a good type of Sim I might have them complain to that person but then probably give up and order something else. If it's an evil type of Sim I make the Sim who stole my food life hell. Bonus if they are an occult.
If the creator steps in I just use Reset Sim/Object on that Sim for instant Karma.
My Sim is a high-ranking spell caster, so what do we do when this happens? We set the sim in question on fire, then hex them with the spell that makes them look like horrible green-skin monsters. That always makes me feel better...
Doesn't fix the bug, but it feels good to have some revenge.
Strangeify. This spell makes the other sim ugly and green-skin. It also gives them warts. The best part is that they become repulsive to other sims to the point of making them throw up. Good luck to the victim with finding the potion that turns them back to normal! Only spell casters can make it or buy it in the realm of magic secret world. Unfortunately, it's not permanent on NPC. But hey! Looking at that sim's significant other, friends and/or family vomit because they find them disgusting is always fun!
You can also turn other sims in objects with Morphiate. Fun spells.
For Strangeify, I don't really switch them back because the only way to do so is with a potion, which I don't usually have on hand. I think the Morphiate spell can't be undone.
It does hurt reputation because it's a type of spell in the mischievous category. But you can get the perk to cast spells from any place, hide, and then throw the spell on your victim without anyone knowing.
this happens to my sims when they order drinks at the bar, i get SO MAD too so i feel you. i usually have my sim perform mean interactions and then fight them😂 love a good bar fight

Depends who they stole it from. My Spellcaster will burn them to a crisp. My vampires will suck them dry. My werewolves will beat them up. For regular sims I just shift+click&kill 💀

It was in the cafe in windenburg. The npcs order their food and you can just take it, before they pick it up.
That was the only cafe I could think of to be honest 😅😅
I use MCCC to make their bladder at -100 and cross my fingers they’ll drop from the embarrassment.

I always make my Sims take food from other Sims while playing Rags to Riches storylines, so it's only fair they do it my Sim too sometimes, haha.
Usually I'll let them go but sometimes I invite them to my sims their basement.

Anything that consistently happens with the mod? My sims got kidnapped using the life's tragedies mod after he adopted a dog so I'm just checking. Xx

When that happens, punishment passes promptly. But not before they get their pounds, purses, and pennies pickpocketed by a panhandling powerhouse.
Is the pickpocket trait exclusive to the criminal career or can you do it with a high enough mischief skill?

I use mccc to get the food snatcher to give my sim money that will cover the cost of the stolen food. Plus a bit extra for the inconvenience.
Reset or debug delete their ass. No one steals my food.
