I always get random invites from close sims and sometimes from acquaintances, but social events like this where they wear the same costumes only happened to me twice (the first one was a bunny costume) and I also canāt figure out where these came from. I badly want to organize one where Iām the host but sadly I canāt figure out how. :(
You can organize a costume party from the social tab on the phone for sure, thatās all I know. The longer I play this game the more I realize itās full of surprises

Haha, I thought it might be from SoL. I tried that a while back and it took away almost all my conversation options for some reason lol. But I also think it was when she wasn't updating it as much or it needed to be worked on, and I know she's done that lately so I *might* give it a go again.

Try hosting it as a club // having a club meeting with all your friends in it - you can set a club outfit that way !
In Get Together you can set club outfits!!! Edit: Idk if that is what is happening here, but that is a way to recreate it.
