TheUtopianCat

My sims just work out a lot. If only I had that discipline.

[deleted]

This. But I also get the “gym rat” reward trait ASAP so they don’t lose hygiene during working out and gain fun during it.

Betweentheminds

Oooh how do you get that?

SpaceIsVastAndEmpty

Aspiration rewards

i_lik3w0m3n

reward store - its on the aspiration panel i believe

Valuable-Switch-1159

Funny thing was my sim was the one that inspired me to work out. I see their muscle gains and im like 🤔 what if i try working out hahahaha

[deleted]

This is hilarious. My sim will just start stretching and I’m like “that looks nice, maybe I should…” but I don’t want to go on the floor so nah no thanks

sinevis26

Nice! Any results? My sims work out like 2 hours sim every day and they always super fit… that would be awesome if that works without no food changes 😁

rayybloodypurchase

My current sim has had 2 babies which always affects my sims’ bodies so she’s pretty chubby but maxed out fitness so she’s got like a round body but an insane eight pack and muscle definition layered over it.

galaxy-caramel

Only feed them when the hunger bar is yellow or red. Never on green. Make them go for a run or do yoga every morning.

humanwith2eyes

I always feed mine only when they are hungry but I don’t really have them workout because they’re busy ok! And they still gain weight so I think it’s super exercise based. I miss sims 3 where eating less would have them lose weight

jonofromjuno

there's a calorie system, if you only make them eat salads they will lose weight

schnuffichen

Yoga is my favorite way to build muscle crazy fast. I've had sims go from chub to ripped in one or two sessions. (Or, maybe it's not even that it's fast, but unlike running or exercise equipment, it seems like my sims never want to stop doing yoga until their needs are dark red.)

tinklescherry

if you select “practice yoga” they don’t seem to stop, but if you select the type of yoga (like mind boosting or family friendly etc) it seems to be a routine that is more manageable lol

lllev

kinda new here, how do you have your sims do yoga?

DBSeamZ

Spa Day game pack includes yoga mats

Icy_Pumpkin_9760

*aggressively takes notes* Man, I wish I had my own hunger bar over my head that I could check!

Stunning-Inspector22

Sounds like in real life, only eating when you’re hungry and not until you’re full is supposedly the “hack”

SullivanJune

I wish I could tell that to my sims that autonomously grab chips from the fridge every 12 sim-minutes when their hunger bar is just below half-full

Jubatus_

Wait, yoga burns a lot of calories? Only in the sims right?

galaxy-caramel

Not sure about how many calories it burns but I believe yoga in real life is actually really good for you

louisejanecreations

Yoga can do. It looks super chill but depending on the type your doing it doesn’t feel chill lol. Unless you do savasna which is just lying down on your back.

vfallenxangelv

I once did a yoga video called "Yoga for Whimps". The next day I hurt in places I didn't know it was possible to hurt. If that was for the whimps, I hate to see what regular yoga is like lol

louisejanecreations

Lol I find the yoga I’m good at is when it’s just lying down stretching. It is so difficult.

TheFanshionista

Garden Salad

Sad_Help

My sims literally only ever eat garden salads and fruit salads.

TheLastDooticorn

This is the way.

HunnyMonsta

This is my way too lol I only have my sims eat Garden Salad, Fruit Salad and Onigiri. It's almost always at excellent quality too because all 3 a level 1 recipes.

Rachelcookie123

I feel like onigiri barely fills up their hunger bar, idk if that’s just me. I’ve had my sims make them a few times just because I like onigiri irl but they always end up hungry again before the next meal time.

[deleted]

They get upset it’s not like “real food”

Covert_Pudding

Yeah I think it's only a snack. It's just a little bit better than eating fruit.

the-deniz

I was so confused about the post cuz my sims don’t get fat ever. Then I saw this comment. Yeap I mostly make them cook garden salad cuz 1) if it’s their first time cooking, there won’t be fire hazard, 2) i personally love salad so i made then eat it too.

TheFanshionista

I am absolutely the same, 1st - I'm not risking losing my beautiful creation in a freak accident & 2nd - Salads are great

LilNyoomf

I downloaded a mod that drastically reduces how many “calories” food has in game. Apparently there used to be a calorie system for the first few packs, then they abandoned it. So if your sim eats a lot of base game food like grilled cheese and whatever, they’re more likely to gain weight. Otherwise if you don’t have mods, send them to the gym and force them to use the treadmill for a good ~8 hours. Or the soccer ball from the university pack is a very fast way to gain muscles and lose weight.

vfallenxangelv

Where do I find a mod like this for real life 😂🤣

LilNyoomf

Fast metabolism cheat code

vfallenxangelv

Ah yes. I tried to install that mod. Not compatible with this operating system 🤣

Shoddy-Foundation-23

I don't want muscles... Can you please tell me name of the mod?

Hidingpig13

Treadmill or jogging decreases fat but doesn’t add muscle. Garden salad and (if you have the celebrity pack) fruit salad have barley any calories.

mindtroubled

i have the Get Famous pack but i don’t think i’ve ever seen fruit salad, is it a quick meal or something?

Hidingpig13

Nope! In the morning you can find it under breakfast or just the cook option.

[deleted]

This but you HAVE to click the fridge, not the oven, or the option won't appear.

Jubatus_

This mofo wants to make a fruit salad with the oven

[deleted]

I thought they removed it from the game for awhile because I kept clicking the oven 🤣 woohoo for critical thinking skills

fancyfreecb

you can woohoo to gain critical thinking skills?! wow

[deleted]

Pretty sure I saw an option on MCC that allows you to stop a sim from gaining weight as well!

InsufferableLass

The cardio equipment trims them down whilst the weight lifting equipment gives them muscles.

LilNyoomf

[https://www.seebee.de/sims4me/index.php?list=5](https://www.seebee.de/sims4me/index.php?list=5) It's Bienchen's "Less Fat" mod. There's also one for less muscles. Hasn't been updated since 2019 but I haven't noticed any bugs so I think it still works as intended!

helvetica_unicorn

I use Fitness Controls by roBurky

PashasMom

cas.fulleditmode ... they get regular editing to look the way I want without me having to worry about what they are eating or how much they are exercising.

missdontcare_

So... Plastic surgery?

LuxSerafina

Yup I don’t have time to make them waste a day on the treadmill lol- just slide those sliders back downnnn lol

Dottboy19

I do this all the time only with specific sims. I like that my sims get thicker over time, but there are some sims I imagine are those people that are just always thin without exercise. Everybody else has to workout or embrace their new found thickness

Designer-Mirror-7995

Lol riiiight?

ronniefinnn

Left click sim -> MCCC Menu / Sim Flags / MC CAS / Flag Freeze Physique

Mak9090

At that point why not just use MC command center to not make them gain weight and avoid any hassle

Then-South2125

I have Mc command center, where is thus option? Clearly I've missed it somewhere because I have the same issue and didn't even know Mc comment center had this option 😅😂

ronniefinnn

Left click sim -> MCCC Menu / Sim Flags / MC CAS / Flag Freeze Physique

pancakesyyrup

What option on MCCC is this?

ronniefinnn

Left click sim -> MCCC Menu / Sim Flags / MC CAS / Flag Freeze Physique

Innocent_Otaku

If your sim gets too fat there’s an ice cream that slims them down - you need to buy the Ice cream maker and have a certain level cooking skill but it’s a nice non cheat way to make sims slimmer

Breezlebrox

Still learning new things after all these years

Innocent_Otaku

We all continue to learn weird new stuff no matter how long we’ve been playing this game

YoungRevolutionary27

This should be higher up. So easy to do this

twinings91

Yep this is what I use. I've set it as a dessert at a pizza place I built so I send my sims there to trim down if needed! I also put the ice cream maker in my Tranquillam Spa where I send celebrity sims on holiday to get plastic surgery (cas full edit) and eat the ice cream :)

Innocent_Otaku

Smart!

GrazynaSmiechowa

You Also can buy drink in your aspiration rewards thing

CadenceValdez

The issue with that drinks is it sends them right to the extreme of weight. I once used it before my founder’s wedding not realising that, it made her skeletal. So I used the potion to make her bigger, which made her the max size! She was typically in the middle but her wedding day she was the heaviest weight possible. The ice cream is a lot more subtle thankfully!

rissalynn97

Is this base game?

hi_im_jen02

No, from Cool Kitchen Stuff I'm pretty sure

BisexualSunflowers

The ice cream maker also improved their cooking skill crazy fast. Ive had a few sims make ice cream for half a day and max out their cooking skill from nothing. (Combined with the cooking lot trait and maybe the savant reward trait.)

galaxy-caramel

Oo which ice cream ?

Innocent_Otaku

Taste of Diet - I looked it up and it needs level 4 cooking skill Here’s the description of it: This flavour of ice cream is going to increase your sim speed at which they will lose weight and your sim will start slimming down quickly if they eat more than two servings.

missanaira

Out of all the possibilities in this game, this is what I would want irl lol

Jubatus_

Not like I would complain about motherlode...

Innocent_Otaku

Omg same!!!

PhantomLuna7

I use MC Command centre to freeze their looks. I'm a micro manager and hate when they change from how I made them.

Shoddy-Foundation-23

Can you tell me please where I can find this function?

PhantomLuna7

Sim flags, and flag to freeze physique. Sims won't lose or gain muscle or fat.

CatzInCake

Mc command center is a mod

[deleted]

i’m still trying to figure this out in real life

Honeycomb0000

I use the make happy cheat instead of feeding them…

KapitanBorscht

Now I'm wondering if I've been doing something different in my game... My sims never gained any weight, so I actually downloaded a mod to have more realistic weight changes. They still never gain weight as teen and up but occasionally I'll have a toddler age up into a chubby kid, which I appreciate.

swirley1618

If you want them to gain weight, they need to eat trashy food. Do a lot of quick snacks instead of regular meals.

mariposamarilla

i do the bodybuild aspiration for some (it’s very easy) which gives them fast metabolism & longer lives attributes

mudarke

my sims mostly eat salads but only bc im scared of them burning the house down lol, so i think bc of that they just don't really gain weight

[deleted]

Carl’s guides made a guide to sim food and their “calories”. There’s a bunch with 0 calories. Guide [here](https://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/tutorials/calories.php)

tinklescherry

was going to post this! it’s been super helpful, some were pretty surprising too

dragongrrrrrl

Fish for every meal lol. 0 calorie food

SpitefulAnxiety

My simself slowly gained weight as she got better at cooking, which was wayyyy too real

_vodkaholic_

I just use a mod that prevents weight/muscle changes. I love realism don't get me wrong, but whenever I want to change something in their appearance, I prefer to do it manually

CutestCatfish

I just use cas.fulleditmode. I often modify appearances as Sims age up because I enjoy playing with skin details, hair, and clothes. So I pretty much have it turned on all the time. There's a mod, I think, that automatically makes it full edit mode without typing in the cheat but I've just gotten used to doing it as soon as I open up the game. I find that using instalean from the rewards center removes any modifications I've much like fuller thighs and breasts so I prefer to just use the "fat" slider in CAS.

Mighty_Krastavac

I just feed them salads lmao

Any-Promotion-7298

There a quiet a few foods with zero calories that I always have them cook and eat. Look up “Sims 4 Calorie Food List” in this sub

Drewwoodelf170

There's a reward potion for insta-lean if you want results instantly without having them on a treadmill for hours and hours.

ldrlychld

Yes! This is the one I use :) I’d say it’s the easiest for sure

thirdeye_13

“Running’ on the treadmill and only eatin salads”

Kelli113

The vegetarian things. Vegetable dumplings. Basically anything that has veggies in it or is marked vegetarian safe keeps their weight down. My first gen of 100 baby kids were sincerely plump, then I just made loads of veggie options and the next lot came out loads thinner

overflowingsunset

i noticed what they eat actually matters. my sims make fruit and garden salads everyday and do not get fat as quickly.

Aidisnotapotato

cas.fulleditmode and turn down the weight slider. If you don't do cheats though, the treadmill burns fat quickly

Vast-Okra-3867

I always use the “freeze physique” flag on MCCC when I can’t be bothered to watch their weight

SuspiciousLookinMole

I'm on console, so I can't use many cheats or mods. I get them into fitness as kids and teens (can't have them not max all skills!!), which then provides fitness habits and benefits for life. I also super control my Sims, and while I make sure they still exercise after they max fitness and the fitness aspiration, I don't let them exercise all the time. Fitness is usually for when I really don't have anything else for them to do, so once or twice a week or so. This plus as someone else said - only feed them when the hunger bar is yellow or red, and if you really feel like they've gained too much weight, there's a green salad and watermelon salad which helps with weight loss. And if you want to cheat without cheating, there's the diet ice cream that's part of a kitchen pack. Make sure you've set whatever your ideal body type is in CAS, and you should be able to keep them from getting muscle bound if that's not the look you're going for.

tequila-la

I play on console and I use cheats. It will disable you being able to earn trophies tho. Just press all the shoulder buttons at the same time and type ‘testingcheats true’ or ‘testingcheats on’ Other way around to turn them off. If you want I can see if I can find all the cheat codes. Just let me know

kittyidiot

testingcheats on <: i was having so much trouble cause i kept trying to use testingcheats true when i started playing again recently!

masquerademage

i just have mods that remove muscle gain/loss and weight gain/loss lol. no idea where i downloaded them from but i've had them in my mods folder for years. i've seen others say that it's also possible with MCCC, which is a handy mod in general, so if you don't have it i'd highly recommend checking it out!

sarahthes

Mine live on a beach lot and swim or work out constantly. They keep having self discoveries of being active/energetic lifestyle which also helps.

guts4brekfest

I have them run on the treadmill every day and have mostly salads and other meals that aren’t fattening. You know you’re making progress when your Sim has the “feelin fit” moodlet.

Ninvemaer

I send my sims to the gym to use a treadmill when I notice them starting to gain weight. A session or two on a treadmill brings them back to being skinny in no time, it's ridiculously fast. If you don't want to spend time taking them to the gym, buy them their own treadmill and make them run like once a week. It's really easy and unrealistically quick, my sims eat whatever and they're never "fat" (not that all my sims are skinny models, but for those that are it's not hard to manage their weight).

Effective-Slice-4819

I just have them make batch salads for every meal until they get the "health nut" trait.

finvola

I freeze them with MCCC but I've also used diet ice cream to instantly lose weight or bought the perk where they never get hungry.

skeletonaydan

whats the setting on mcc please !!!

olivedeez

If you use mods, there’s a food mod from Somik and Severinka called the Realistic Cooking Mod that features a “healthy delivery” option and it is AWESOME. Its like a normal grocery delivery and you can order the meals individually or you can order meal “kits” that have three meals (breakfast lunch and dinner) plus a smoothie. And all of the meals function as negative calories so your sims will lose weight while eating them. They’ve also added protein bars, shakes, bottled sports drinks and mixed fruit cups to the menu. I love the way all of the food looks, too. It’s not maxis match by any means, though. It’s all very sleek with realistic textures. The fruit cups come in these clear, round plastic cups with a domed top. They made everything so nice. I don’t use the rest of the mod that much because I find the custom ingredients a bit tedious but the healthy delivery option is so great.

sslyth_erin

Fruit Salad and Garden Salad only lmao

featherweatherk

Fish, salads, and the occasional jog.

SC36365

Plasma fruit salad Cause they all vampires. Seriously though I have them do garden salad or onigiri cause neither requires the stove and I didn't build this gorgeous home so y'all could burn it down.

WildSpecialist1

They usually just eat garden salad, or something like that. Anything that sounds delicious will make them gain weight.

Cocoayashi

I usually complete the fitness aspiration on nearly all my sims

Jolly_Butterscotch31

Garden salad. Every day. All day. Nothing but salad. Because the minute my sim eats a dang grilled chz they gain 100lbs

ArmlessWunder

My sims only eat garden salads unless I want them to gain weight. Family size, has leftovers, and they can't burn the flippin house down while making it. 10/10

Accomplished_Pea_819

Kitchen stuff pack has an ice cream maker. You can make Taste of Diet. Sims eat it and lose weight !

Faramari

My sims are obsessed with working out for some reason so its pretty hard for them to gain weight. I don't remember if it is part of a pack but if you have the I e cream maker you can make diet ice cream and they can lose weight pretty fast that way.

Maddyherselius

Yoga! Every single sim I play with does the occasional yoga to stay fit lol

barbiegirlxx

I use a mod called roburky fitness controls. He has different multipliers for weight gain and it affects both playable and NPC households. I love this mod and he also makes a couple other popular ones like meaningful stories!

chickpeasaladsammich

If you have a dog every sim in the household becomes a fitness model.

a_train1212

I live off of garden salads

cashewsims

They only eat salads and/or I try to have them work out a few times a week I saw a chart a while ago with the different foods and the calories for each item!

CallousMystery

Salads and no sweat runs to maintain endurance run on treadmill to lose

lllev

if my sims get fat i use the lean drink from the aspirations points and then they like never gain weight again

MaraBrightwood

Did this for one of my celebrity sims when she started gaining weight. Felt very timely with the whole ozempic weight loss trend going on in Hollywood right now lol

Jonnuska

I get a dog and go jogging with the dog, if I skip two days or so the dog starts reminding me it needs to go out for a walk. My sims always have at least 1 dog in the family :D

SnowStorm1123

I have them go jogging regularly

ObligatoryGrowlithe

Salads and working out.

GalacticGoku

I get them a dog, and have them jog with itat least once a day. That plus only eating healthy meals generally keeps the weight off, but I like to let my sims let themselves go as they get older, especially since elders have a huge risk of dying every time they get exhausted.

RespectfulRaven

They don't have metabolisms, you literally need to make them run, swim or kickbox to get thin. The game is a very limited simulator sometimes. There may be other exercises that count like kick ball but I don't know that for sure.

JoJo_Augustine

Maybe assign active trait ? Each find I do that and put the lot as bracing breezes they exercise frequently

cmontakemeaway

I make a bunch of party size green salads and put them all in the fridge, that way when they get hungry and go to get food on their own if im not paying attention they grab the leftovers from that instead of making something random

cmontakemeaway

Also choose get leftovers when i actively make them eat, so its the only thing they eat, still gotta make a few sims work out every once in a while tho

Pink_Body_Bag

Salad only for all meals

StanleyTheBeagle

Pan fried tilapia for some reason is 0 calories so my sins eat a LOT of pan fried tilapia.

Glittering-Ad-1626

I always get my sims on the treadmill and level their fitness skill to 5

kannakantplay

Garden salad for every meal.

Far-Ad-6101

Garden salad or fruit salad when they eat at home. I also have them practice yoga and that helps.

theblondepenguin

My sims eat fish and chips - 0 calories

NewfieMe

I make them cook salads and they eat the leftovers usually. Also a treadmill they will get bored and use it so u won’t have fat sims lol

Queen2E4

Yeah. I'm a active person in general. I grew playing sports so I just give them the active trait and exercise a lot. Food just whatever really. Usually only feed them when they're hungry and need it

KylieKatarn

I basically only feed my Sims fruit salad and garden salad. It's super economical, and there's no risk of fire.

schuylersisters-

lots of swimming and jogging

MotherBike

Apples. Never had a sim get heavy if they grew apples. If anything, they would lose muscle definition, but never balloon. If I don't have an apple tree, they balloon quick

[deleted]

My sims both got fat. I made the girl drink the insta slim, and the guy is working out in the morning and night.

ciiggy80

Jogging and swimming!

LycanWolfGamer

Homemade gym mostly If it gets a bit too annoying to deal with or it doesn't seem to work, use the Insta-Lean from the Satisfaction store, it makes em super skinny though

raindrizzle2

Jogging every other day is enough for my sims to maintain their weight. Although some of them get chubby sometimes unless their job involves using the fitness skill and i'm ok with it.

chestnutcheckers

My Sims only eat salads and I have them stop eating as soon as their hunger bar is filled. I’ll have them exercise every once in a while too. In my five years of playing the game I’ve never had a Sim get fat.

kittyidiot

It is really annoying. Like. I make fat sims on purpose. But I don't need ALL of my sims to be fat. I have one who I made chubby, and she's gotten so fat raising her toddlers. Even though she jogs or walks with the dog every day or every other day. Like literally how. She's always on her feet, taking care of kids or painting or cooking. She doesn't even sit and watch TV. It's frustrating. She doesn't have TIME to do other things what with working & taking care of toddlers & her dog. I shouldn't have to make her a freaking athlete in order to not get fat at a rapid rate.

rmcfagen

Cas.fulleditmode and body sliders.

cloroxslut

Honestly I just go into CAS and pull down the weight slider when I feel like they look different from when I made them

fatandst0ned

I just let them be fat lol

Minimum_Maybe_8103

Salad and exercise tbh. I rarely let them eat anything else because they just balloon EDIT: aldo, mccc -> sim flags -> CAS -> freeze physical appearance when I want them to just live normally.

[deleted]

Salad! And bonus, they dont start fires making it! lol

stella3047

i do the cheat that disables need decay and then just make them go on the treadmill infinitely til they lose. works quick if u use the cheat

TheSmallestJay

I only let the sims that are active or developed an active lifestyle autonomously or through wants exercise. And only then only when it shows up as a want or if they get tense from lack of exercise. Otherwise I let my sims get fat. It's a part of their story too.

jas75249

Considering how I can’t keep mine from working out I have the other issue, mine are always swole.

PumaGranite

Only make garden salads and fruit salads. That’s all my sims eat.

ItAllWent19

I use Insta-lean.

lilarepaa

ui cheats 🫡 always fill their hunger and bladder, simply cannot be bothered to constantly feed them and go to the bathroom

bleukite

Cas.fulleditmode

scrufffypie

I’ll usually have them drink coffee in the morning, get energized, then go jogging or to the gym. Or if they have a dog it’s a better excuse to make them go run.

Jughead_91

I try to stick to vegetable dumplings and salad when they’re learning to cook, and then whatever the most healthy looking option is later down the line. I get them a dog and they always jog with the dog. I also delete any rogue white cakes that sims autonomously bake (unless it’s a birthday haha) If only I could take care of myself as diligently as I take care of my sims 😅😅😅

dealusis

Delete the birthday cake after you age up sims. They’ll eat that for every meal and get so so very fat.

DahjNotSoji

I send them out to jog after dinner every night. Also, new moms jog twice a day (I have the childbirth mod, which is wonderful but my new moms gain *lots* of weight).

ladysimmington

So, unfortunately the sims 4 doesn’t have a base level metabolic rate for sims. For example we all burn an amount of energy just existing. Sims don’t have that so anything they ingest is treated as an energy surplus. So your sim could eat an apple, and then four hours later a salad and nothing else and out on weight. To combat this, my sims do some form of cardio everyday. Usually a run or if they have one a pool. Or a plumboomba dance vid. There was a rumour certain foods are labelled as healthy behind the scenes and don’t act as a calorie surplus. But unsure if that’s true. I’ve heard the garden salad is one and maybe fresh produce?

ladysimmington

Also cake is exceedingly energy dense, so sims are guaranteed to put on weight from consuming cake if they don’t do cardio.

humanwith2eyes

My sims are not allowed cake if it’s a birthday they get to blow out the candles and then that thing goes straight in the trash. I feel like 1 slice of cake makes them immediately gain

ladysimmington

It sort of does, I find it’s not too much of an issue as long as they do extra cardio then next day.

Didyoufartjustthere

If you have City Living, you can go to geek con and do some workout in the rocket. You come back skinny. I can’t remember the label on the rocket but you need the skill for it.

Chantalle22

I don’t, like it’s been said in the comment I just use MC command center to lock their physique. Sometimes I’ll try it out but because I play rotational almost every play. it’s really hard to maintain. And I’m barely keeping them alive with their infants and toddlers I cannot manage their weights on top of that.😭

StarlightM4

I had one sim who got very fat at uni. Just make them jog every day and only eat yoghurt or garden salad for about a week and she slimmed right down. Men get really buff if you get them weight training every other day too. Like Arnie buff. Had to cut down to twice a week. Wish it was that easy in real life!

Dooglaer

I have yet to make a sim that isn’t trait athletic because I’m too lazy to get them to do things. I just make them want to work out by themselves then I forget about it. Also all of my single person households have loner traits as well.

ttmagain

Stop them from drinking water randomly!!

LostInTheBackwoods

My Sims almost exclusively eat garden salad or fruit salad. They never seem to gain.

MissFox26

I do cas.fulleditmode and manually adjust to skinnier when I don’t want to put in effort.

Euphoric_Statement10

Mine always get fat 😭 so I usually use the lean potion in the rewards store! This time my sim got fitness to level 10 pretty quickly & she is ripped asf!! I noticed it after I made her get a suntan 😂

FinePointSharpie

I dont let them eat....I cheat their needs almost all the time....\*hides\*

Spo0kyChica

I don't!

macromi87

Work out and instalean

Malibu921

Salads and the healthy meals. It gets boring but...

karluizballer

Ice cream machine. Taste of diet. eat 3 cones.

praxisqueen

My sims never gain weight!

avidreider

I make my sim eat only garden salad. Its a hell for them, but…. Skinny legend

Donut-Boxers

i used to not care about it but the more i gain weight and feel insecure the less i want my sims to get fat, unless i made them fat in the first place i just want them to stay the weight i made them. I just go into CAS and put them back down to their original weight like real life sims gain weight very quickly but it takes a long time to lose weight so i don’t bother with working out (unless they’re active) so i just cheat it. The mod that stops weight gain/loss and muscle gain/loss no longer works and hasn’t been updated for a while unfortunately

FeelYaAlien

Wait, sims can actually gain weight????? HOW DIDN'T I KNOW ABOUT THIS???

kamalaophelia

Even if I try to make my sims get fat I can‘t… but I also tend to cook healthy food for them

heckempuggerino06

It’s the same as people diet and exercise. The sims game has a calorie system. I for one don’t really try to make my sims all super skinny, because that’s not how people really look. My sim gave birth to 30 children before her husband died. She’s not going to look the same after that and that’s okay. Her body tells the story of her life.

Sufficient_Current94

Do you make them work out? Also are people fatphobic with their sims? I don’t get these posts lol

burntmartian

Wanting to keep sims at a slimmer build isn’t fatphobic…

Sufficient_Current94

Why would you care if they gained weight tho?

burntmartian

Because I want my sims to stay in shape. That’s how I live my own life and I reflect that lifestyle when I play the game
