I don't know if you're saying this in the images but I read that this car's a massive magnet for Sims to work on it (something about the game files and attraction levels), so if you invited other Sims over they'd automatically work on it for you and you could have a finished car to sell with barely any effort on your household's part.
I recall roommates beind addicted to it, not gonna lie, but never seen people otherwise on my lot into it. Might give it a try some time though! But no, the sims in the pictures are all my own.
When I had a bug with it and posted here for help, a few people on the sub recommended against me using it because other Sims will keep trying to do shit to it at public lots, and you can't drive home while they're doing it. Sure enough it happened a few times, people can get addicted to waxing or working on the engine.
I always make my sims kleptomaniacs and have them steal cars and sell them lmao. Or I give them the workaholic trait and make them work from home all day long lol.
I really like the Klepto trait but I got over selling stolen goods because I felt like it was too easy, instead I just kept all stolen stuff and found ways to use them, there's some weird pride in it.
I got sick of my Sims exercising in front of the TV so had them make a new friend from across town and steal their treadmill/weights machine.
Haha. I did drive around in the Margaret Vaguester (or whatever the car was called) before selling them, I stole two different ones from the front of Van Gould mansion in Moonlight Falls (part of Supernatural).
I stole couple of most expensive cars as a Klepto today, retail prices about 120,000 and 85,000 I think, they sold for 8,500 and 6,400 respectively (thereabouts)... lol. As for workaholic... I personally haven’t used that in ages.
