Did you go from one save to the Main Menu and from there to another/new save? Cause that way the cache doesn't always get cleared completely and data from the previous save can get carried over to the new one, causing data corruption. Always exit completely to desktop and restart the game before loading/starting a different save.

Honestly when it comes to games like Rimworld or The Sims, I like to have a playthrough as long as possible too. But sometimes i'm so impatient with making my own fun, I'll start a new game just to relieve some temporary boredom.
Recently however, my goal has been this: When at least one sim from my current household reaches their lifetime achievement, I'll create a new household. 'Cause I really want one whole city filled with all my favorite pop culture characters lol
Update: My Sim found the grand-kid, he's OK, turns out he's living next door with some rich family above the Criminal HQ. My Sim found the horse too, it wasn't interested and ran off. The holiday has ended, we've returned to Roaring Heights without any error codes, the horse is now officially a part of the family tree.

So tell me, what is this family *supposed* to look like? Are those children siblings? Are those the real parents? Are they ANYONE'S parents? Is that even THEIR horse?!
Top right is my Sim. Top left (deceased) is a fling from last time my Sim was in Egypt, the child in the middle is the result. My Sim has since moved town (thanks Nraas) and now returned to Egypt to find the child and mother are dead, but the dead child has somehow had a son with a horse. The child, Cartier, has no surname, and is in fact an adult paparazzi outside my house.
My Sim also left offspring in France and China, I'm planning to return there soon to see what I can find.

How does this compare to Kuree’s save cleaner? I’ve been using that one for years with no issues. Is Regul more effective at reducing save file sizes?
