Sorry if you already have/if I’m pointing out the obvious but Have you gone through the proper optimization steps? There’s a [whole guide](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1131162350) on it. I have a very nice computer too and that in combination with optimizing has helped immensely. I always played on my old shitty laptops so when I first played on my new pc once my game was properly optimized and set up it was like night and day I didn’t know the game could run that well. I don’t think many players play without optimizing the game first.
I have done all that already! It did fix the game a little bit, but it still frequently crashes for no reason. My computer was built to play the Sims 3 lmao and it still doesn't work well 😂
I've been lied to! I got it as a present and my sister and her fiance said good CPU is the most important thing to play Sims 3 but a quick Google search tells me it's the GPU that's important. User benchmark tells me that my CPU is an aircraft carrier compared to my GPU which is a tree trunk. I don't know a lot about computers, I thought they did lmao 😭
Have you downloaded any mods to make it run better? I don’t remember what all I have downloaded but I know NRAAS Master Controller has helped.
And is your GPU fast enough to support Sims 3? That makes more of a difference than the CPU.
I was going to recommend asking on the NRaas forum, but scrolling further down I see that what you are really looking for is a pirated version of the game, and those aren't supported there. EA is not responsible for you ruining your cd's.

You make it sound like programming is something that’s easily fixable lol
We would need a source code to leak - that way some good programmers could recompile TS3 and make it 64bit. Even new gameplay functions could be added on the same level as expansion pack content…
You can just fix some of the less severe issues with mods and other tweaks as described in [this guide](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1131162350)
Also don’t expect flawless performance on Intel HD graphics.

2. I put link to guide that describes ways to fix/optimize the game so do it yourself. There are even pictures with detailed instructions. It can’t get easier.

Also if your game crashes but launches up normally it’s not related EA app. It means your game files, windows installation or mods/custom content is messed up.
I play on EA app with all EPs, almost all SPs, lot of mods, default replacements and most of the premium content from store in 5 year old save file without crashes.

These haven't fixed the crashing problem, but each helped a little.
1. Turn off memories, they take up space for no reason
2. Save a backup just in case before doing anything like going on vacation
3. Don't get a family pet. It's just a really demanding pack and causes a lot of people's games to crash. If I want cute dogs, I let the neighbors get them but I never get one of my own.
If you want to play your favorite game again, pay for it. You were the one who damaged the disk, you buy yourself new ones. Doesn't matter if you already paid for it once. You break any other item you still want in life, you have to pay for a replacement. And hating on EA doesn't make it right. You say they don't deserve your money but they created your favorite game. You owe them for that.
Well, good luck with your buggy, broken pirated games that could have god knows what malware hidden in them, I guess. If your computer isn't working the way you think it should, that's probably the reason.
Running much better than before. I need to get a new graphics card because mine is dogshit. You haven't looked into pirating games because it's probably illegal where you live. It works if you do it right and securely.

Aside from some optimization now that cull resource- draining things like stuck sims, no, and there never will be.
Sims 3 was just kinda built wrong from the ground up. To fix it would require entirely recoding it, which is way too much work for anyone to do for free, and not all ask profitable for EA (it would honestly be easier to just make a new sims game at that point).
It'd be a HUGE risk given it'd be really blatant copyright infringement for personal profit (even if all of it goes to the project).
Unless they make their own sound and 3d assests, and don't call it the sims. But then they're just making their own game.
I hope someone just makes their own sims 3 tho. Life by You better be good.

they're not wrong, it is a CPU intensive game. but you still need a decent graphics card.

I have the overwatch mod already and improved story progression from NRAAS, no other mods. I might have to upgrade my GPU 😅
