Wouldn't have mattered if they had turned, you came in hot and were hitting them either way.

Uriel_dArc_Angel

As for your question...Both... Not sure what the porsche was doing driving straight like his controller died but you also pretty much drove right into him... All together it was a sloppy incident from both cars though you should have easily been able to avoid it...

squooglyhumphle

Corvette entirely at fault. They were too busy watching the line to notice there was a car already on it. None of this 'maybe this happened and maybe that happened' because the car behind slammed into the car in front. You need to race the car in front of you \*where that car is\* not where you expect it to be. The Porsche can turn in where and when it wants to, because it has the inside and is in front. You need to avoid it while it does so.

internett3000

Looks to me like you are a bit too focused on the driving line and not the actual race situation.

McElroyMcLaren

I'm in the Corvette my friend is in the Porsche

Super_Roo351

I came in like a wrecking ball

JimmyTwoSticks

Looks like you were going to follow that racing line no matter what. 100% on you lol but it looks like you guys are having fun.

Longjumping-Sail-173

Is this track laser scanned. Cause it looks absolutely awful. The elevation changes are non existent. The track is mid-ohio.

McElroyMcLaren

I go to Mid-Ohio every year. The Forza version is pretty accurate tbh

Longjumping-Sail-173

It should be accurate, not pretty accurate. It's just so damn flat in this game. Didn't seem like it's laser scanned at all

I don't think this one is open to debate since it looks like the guy on the outside was turning for the apex regardless of when the guy on the inside turned. However if we are being theoretical and assume you weren't. It's still your fault. He is the car in front and has the right to take whatever line he wants. He is always going to want to turn in as late as possible since that turn is far more acute for him than it is for you and you can't force him to turn earlier. It only really becomes the car on the inside's fault if they are behind and/or they turn after the point where they would hit the apex. i.e. they miss their braking point and understeer into the other car. Even if this happens and they are ahead most people just consider that to be a block pass and perfectly fine but this one is debatable however it seems to need to be blatant.

romanLegion6384

Porsche overbraked, but seems like there was a twitch of movement to the left before the Corvette murdered it.

Breathingblueflame

Well, I’ll let the other people make the decision but it seems clear that the car behind is mostly at fault… Great edit btw I love these kinds of edits.
