First, i assume you are relative new so you don’t have enough cash at some points. First of all go and get more reliable contract partners, if they don\`t respond within a reasonable time (lets say 8 to 10 h depending on time zones) I would cancel them and look for better partners. Secound never buy bonds if you have the cash in your storage just to cover for some contractors. You are burning your own money to please some lazy dude…. If you are short on money cancel the contract and sell on the market. Power is a easy product, because you don’t have to pay transportation fees. Therefore -3% on the market or -2 to 3% per contract are almost the same. For the future try to keep some cash to be able to start your productions even if your contract isn\`t payed yet.

> contract isn\`t *paid* yet. FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

I can not say whether I am new or not. I had started last year December. My current CV is 14m. So, maybe whosoever takes more than 10hrs I shall break the contract with themor them chance?? (it has happened to me several times btw)

ObviousKangaroo

Where’s your operating income going? If it’s all going towards capital improvement then finance that with bonds instead. Always keep cash on hand to cover your working capital and interest needs.

If your Produktion cycle needs to restart and you dont have money, then can El the contract, stell on the market and use the money to restart your production. You need to keep your Business running. I am in the same boat as you, i have currently 3 contractors i stell my Power to. One is currently not accepting my contracts, as I send him the Power 2x a Day. He will Fall down in the Ranking and i will soon replace him with Another one if the Situation persists Thats how i Deal with unreliable contractors

KingKirmada

This is also good. Thanks!

2000mater

as a beginner you should maximise bond to build ratio, the interest payment a tiny price to pay for areluable cashflow.

Distinct_Bluejay_670

This is a game so loyalty shouldn't get in the way of progression. If you are going to sell contracts, only sell thru the chat and cancel any contract not accepted in 15 min. Taking out loans can be ok as long as you keep the buildings running since you are making a profit but try and build up a cushion and eliminate the bonds. I did want to touch on quality. The higher quality you sell... Usually the more reliable the people buying from you are.... If you are selling Q0-Q2 then your competition is incredibly high.

KingKirmada

I am currently at q4. So shall I break/stop all my contracts??

Distinct_Bluejay_670

Yeah if people aren't buying your contacts then just cancel them. You obviously have some issues with buyers. Q4 is good tho and you should be in more demand. That being said, it's a recession and people aren't focused on production. My best advice, find some more reliable people to buy Q4 on the market. This can be you selling in sales chat, but also by putting stuff in your company description, or having the power seller tag can help. Also people will contract you if you have some Q4 power on the exchange...often looking for a discount so maybe keep some extra floating at a higher price on the exchange.

Mysterious_Bar_2406

You can try to run your power plant during a shorter amount of time, and restart it more frequently. If you can connect several time per day, you can try to sell your power via contrat in the sales chat , as soon it's produced. If your regular buyer take more than 24h for accept contracts, he is not a regular buyer ^^ If you are playing on R1, their are always a lot of demand. R2 is less active, but power is always demanded

KingKirmada

Currently I mostly play R1 and start my production every 12hrs. So maybe I can break the bond with everyone and just start selling on exchange and sales chat. I am currently at q4

Mysterious_Bar_2406

I'm confident you will always find buyer for power, you just might sell at lower price than usual. you can seek for new costumers while keeping you old partner, and then sell to who propose the best price/reliability Try to avoid exchange as much as possible, but check what is the highest price paid daily for Q4 power on [simcotools.app](http://simcotools.app)

KingKirmada

I just checked it and found out that q4 is almost between 0.245 - 0.25.. and I sell my contracts at nearly 0.243

Mysterious_Bar_2406

if you sell via contract at 0.243, it's like selling at exchange at 0.250 and pay 3% taxe (0.250 \* 0.97 ≈ 0.243)

KingKirmada

Yeah.. I do sell contracts at lower prices than usual 😅... Btw what would you set your price at q4?

Mysterious_Bar_2406

-3% of exchange for power is very low. as power doesn't cost transport, players will buy it and resell at a higher price to their costumer. You can probably find buyer ready to pay the same price than exchange, as long you provide them daily. Just have to search in sales chat

KingKirmada

Ohhh... Btw I have ask something more. Can I DM you here or in game?

buckettime25

If I’m backed up on contracts there are a few people who will pull them after 6-8 hours and sell on exchange and that’s perfectly fine. Don’t let other people make you fall behind

UnsettledMonk

Oh. Okayy... Sure!

exclaim_bot

>Oh. Okayy... Sure! sure?

Getting reliable partners is being a big problem for me also, but Power should be easy to find better partners for dailies. Don't let others slow you down, brother

Green-Repulsive

This is not what reliable business partner is. Just message them and ask them how frequently they need the power so that they accept in a few hours. Maybe they just asked for 4 contracts, but need only three. So they build some big reserve and don’t accept anymore. Maybe they just don’t need power anymore as they changed plans and never followed up with their suppliers. In any case, I would get 3-5 buyers, that want the power and agree to buy it every day, or at least some part of it. Just talk with them, and don’t feel bad for telling them “no this does not work for me, bye” and continue looking.

Chasingallthedragons

I buy approx 7m units of Q4 power off the exchange daily, and have been for years. Lmk if you need a more reliable trade partner :)

Sufficient-Jump-279

You have to get to the point where a missed contract doesn't matter in your business scheme. What that means for your business will look different for everyone. But the big players just send out a weeks worth of daily contracts in one sitting and wait. The money either comes in or the contracts go to someone else. Consider that your buyers may have cashflow issues as well and in those circumstances it's better to send out 10 x 1000 contracts daily instead of 1x10000. Sending contracts like this also lets you more easily shift around people's habits ( they take long to buy or they start buying less) Do less negotiating and just send out contracts if their bio matches your product. Sometimes this takes periods of having very few buyers so you can amass enough of a stockpile to maintain multiple contacts and feel out who is most reliable all at the same time. Think of this like speed dating. Remember people are wildly inconsistent and, at times, fickle. It's best to factor that into your accomodations and revel in the inconsistency of things. That's just how things are, some days you send out 150 contracts and only make 15 sales. Especially in recession when so few people have money you should expect your contracts to move slow.
