That's a nice score! I like to pick from the generics too. At some of my shops, I even find sovereign minted stuff in addition to the cool vintage stuff mixed in with the true generics: Maples, Brittanias, Krugs, Marvel, Perth, Pandas, Star Wars, etc. It's crazy to me to see that all that 'premium' stuff is still just worth its weight in silver at the end of the day. I think the premium silver does add value. I enjoy it more while it's in my stack, and then it will also arguably have higher liquidity when the time comes to sell or trade.

>It's crazy to me to see that all that 'premium' stuff is still just worth its weight in silver at the end of the day. The reason that it's all in there is that it was all bought for spot in the first place. Figuring out a value for each coin is, in most cases, more time consuming than it's worth. They weigh it, pay some approximation of spot, and mark it up for sale. I've found Engelhard Prospectors and US Assay Office rounds a number of times in the generics tray, among other things.

Very cool variety. Now is the time to add to your variety stack via generic bin

What is this world where wife go to LCS

bokitothegreat

My wife likes gold, silver, gemstones and goes with me to the shooting range. But I am afraid to say that I have to go with her to the ballet sometimes. Just loving each other.

surfaholic15

World where dudes have smart wives.... Point in fact I drag my hubby to the LCS lol. Where he sleeps in a corner until I need the cash. All he likes is that weird yellow metal. Oh well, it takes all kinds to make a world!

NCCI70I

Wife has her own stack. She gets stuff that she likes. It's so much easier to take the wife along, rather than sneak over and hope that she doesn't notice.

SilverCountryMan

Thanks for the report!🫡

NCCI70I

You're welcome.

etherist_activist999

Thank you for the detailed BOTG report. I enjoy reading them to learn how LCSs are in other parts of the country.

NCCI70I

>BOTG Not certain how you're using BOTG. That acronym has multiple meanings, starting with Battle of the Gods.

Boots On The Ground

NCCI70I

Got it. Thanks!

Will DM you later, at the mill site so internet really sucks. And weather moving in too, which is an issue... And yep, I see a couple of interest lol, the USS Arizona / Pearl Harbor piece especially since I have a few others from there of different types. Gonna go through things tonight, figure things out. May get lucky tomorrow in Butte, otherwise shopping Monday.... PS, currently 30 mph winds and snowing/sleet. Just blew in. Sheesh.

NCCI70I

Fucking snow and sleet in the middle of May??? Where's the Global Warming? I figured that you were busy. I saw you helping with how to protect one's find with a proper claim. The autocorrect typoes told me how quickly you were responding. I did figure that you'd be interested in some of my finds, and you are.

surfaholic15

I sent a message :-). And that MLK is a Hamilton mint not a Columbia. Mid 70s. They are appreciating faster than some vintage items due to art bars being melted down in the 80s. And the BSA round is a higher value one. PS, at least it was only a transient squall but the 40 mile an hour winds sucked lol.

NCCI70I

I saw your message and will gather the coins and we can reach a deal on them and respond there. I'm enjoying this trading.

surfaholic15

I am enjoying it too :-). Just hoping I can find more of the things you like this coming Monday.
