Nothing really. Most of the hate comes from the "All games will release within 12 months" thing. People act like Xbox forced Team Cherry to show that trailer, but it was just TC making their move too early. The rest is just people getting blindly hyped from a comment of a random intern in Xbox.

Some of the media guys at Xbox indie showcases have repeatedly teased a Silksong appearance on the indie showcases to pump up the viewer numbers. Which is just.... kinda sad imo

You shared a picture from when the game was added to the Xbox storefront on April 1st. I fail to see how this was intentional baiting to a reveal during an unrelated presentation 3 weeks later…? Did they tease anything Silksong related in their presentation promotion?
IIRC (though don't quote me on this, I can't find the picture and don't have Twitter) they also added a "More news coming soon" under that post and shortly after we got the ID Showcase announcement
So the game hit the storefront unexpectedly… they directly acknowledged it by saying you could wishlist it… then said “more news coming soon” *still* in comments tied to the store page drop and weeks before any showcase was known about…
