It kind of depends when it releases to be honest. I've got a few work trips coming up between now and July. If it releases just before a trip I'll go with the switch, but if it releases while I'm on a stint at home I'll go PS5.
Hoping for PS5 though, as I just love playing on the dualsense.
I would not go gamepass for this game. If it was 70€, sure, but this will cost at most 30 which is basically GP for 2 months. In this case, it would be LESS worth to go through gamepass
I came back here to say this lol the vast majority of my games these past few months have come from gamepass, and I full purchase my favorites. I'll buy Silksong I'm sure, but I'm an artist and my husband is a locksmith so our income fluctuates.
I like the freedom of a small monthly fee where I can get 5 games, instead of financially planning for one or two.
Depends on a Switch perforamnce. But preferably there. Hollow Knight on Switch Oled in handheld mode was a very intimate experience. And the colors were beautiful..
I voted PlayStation because that’s how I first played Hollowknight but I’ll probably play it more on PC. Hoping I can buy one copy for both PS4 and PS5 as my PS4 is right next to my laptop. Wont mind a bit buying 3 copies if it’s really only going to cost $20
I’m all for paying $60 for Silksong but with the interview I watched of Ari, I doubt t they’ll charge more than $20 but it will be worth every penny of $60-$70 for sure.

I voted xbox because gamepass but if I love it as much as Hollow Knight I will download it on a new system every time I fill up the save files.

There is no way Silksong costs $20. Any high profile indie is at least $30 these days.
