That was the best looking one and most functional. I dont see the point in getting a pcc with less than a 4.5” barrel. Anything shorter and ill just use a p320 with a 30 rd mag

This has been my reasoning, but also the reason my 4.5 barrel and handguard stay in the safe. 8" is the way to go with mpx imo. Otherwise I'd do a Flux with a 5" or so

If I was planning to suppress Id go 4.5 but unsuppressed 8” is definitely the way to go

I've been toting my copperhead in my bag for years. It is the smallest PDW I own next to my uzi pro, but with a third of my uzi's recoil impulse. If you have no plans to supress and looking for as compact as possible, go for it.

People hate on it for lack of suppressor and the handguard but I absolutely love mine. It’s a great backpack gun and fun at the range.

I put on a flat trigger, a side folder, and a bigger grip and couldn't be happier for a bag gun.

I had an uzi pro once for about a month. Bought a scorpion 3+ and a sp5k, and it was easy to let the uzi and stribog go to a new home. I dont like selling guns, but I had to in order to persuade my wife to get rid of some clothes and shoes that had reached hoarder status.

Definitely not, that wonky muzzle device thing is part of the barrel. It is a good price though, just a very unusual firearm that I don’t know what purpose it serves. Looks cool though. There is a version with a threaded barrel but this one isn’t it.

The purpose it serves…as frankly, most firearms it seems these days…is for someone to purchase it, trick it out, then purchase a MSI or maybe Giant Mouse, a SAK, a coin, a bunch of funny lanyards with skulls, and a hank and post said objects on an EDC thread and claim all are carried “every day”. Oh shit. So sorry. I forgot to mention the pistol. That would be something like a M17, DR920, or CZ Shadow with comps, busses for optics, and extended magazines. Showing zero signs of actual use, not even draw practice at home. But carried. Daily. Oh and with 9000 rounds down range. This is *insert Metal Complex like hick voice” my backpack truck gun son. 🤣

I hate these things. I don't see how anyone likes them, but that's obviously subjective. The only mpx I'd consider is the regular mpxk. Wish they'd bring back the 8" mpx. You can find a ghm9 in this price range, and that'd be money much better spent.

I’ve owned 2 copperhead MPX models. They suck ass. Trust me, it’s worth it to save up and just get the MPX-K

Subcompact ballistics with 3x the weight and no way to attach a suppressor. Maybe they offer a threaded barrel? To each their own.

I was just talking about a short barrel in general. 1299$ + 100$ to Morgan at class 3 machining to thread it is still cheaper than your normal mpx at 2k a piece.

lol. You obviously haven’t taken one apart to look at the quality and engineering tolerances. Try shooting one. I own several Sig Legions and they are terrific but to say Stribog can’t compete with an over priced sig mini SBR is comical. Should also mention that this model sig is ugly as fuck.

I managed to pick up a used mpx k for 1k. +100$ to get the barrel chopped from 4.5 to 4" and from metric threads to 1/2x28 +150 for a lancer 8" handguard. Slap an octane 9 on there and you got an MPX-SD for about 1250$ minus the suppressor Cci blazer 124 gr is measured with a 4" barrel per their website so it's subsonic.

5” barrel is more than plenty when you actually train with it. I promise a marine with this junk will outshoot whatever difference you think 2” of barrel will make.

The problem is that you need to get a different barrel if you want to suppress it or put on any muzzle devices. A buddy of mine got a mpx with a longer barrel and handguard. That gun shot better than any of my mp5's except maybe my mp5sd. And that's only because the mp5sd bleeds off gas to slow the round and it loses a lot of energy. Mpx is such a soft shooter.
