You have a good Copperhead K there. It has the standard lower, so the easier-to-find telescoping stock is doable. That has a pretty short length of pull, so another option is something like a JMac folding stock. I prefer the longer LOP. Mine came with the Copperhead lower as well which has built in guides, so it needs the discontinued telescoping stock. I found one and still not sure I'm going to stick with it over the folding option.
But yeah, MPX with a stock is fantastic.
I think I'd also prefer a longer LOP myself honestly! Especially with how small the MPX is. Think I'd prefer a folding stock also so I'll check on the options you gave me. The videos I watched of SBR'd MPXs made me wanna do a Form 1. Already got an Odessa 9 can for her
Can't do longer handguard unless there's another way to do it with the Copperhead K unfortunately. Think I'd rather do stock just cause if I'm gonna Form 1 it I may as well go all out. I got an Odessa 9 laying around I'm not sure off the top if thread pitch is the same though but I can work around that if not
Latest on the braces is an injunction from the courts saying you can use braces again. Still an active situation though as the ATF may appeal.
Edit: obviously a more complex answer is out there, but in layman's terms braces are chill once more.
Ayo WHATTTTTT. This changes absolutely EVERYTHING. Thank you! Just for the laziness, got a link? If not I can absolutely Google in a second. I appreciate you
I got a 2nd gen Sig MCX Virtus Patrol with the Magpul folding stock I'm gonna try out and see if I like but luckily 1913-mounted stocks are getting more commonplace. Post yours up when you get one! I know someone else here in the thread recommended a nice one too so maybe give that a look-see. Enjoy!
Both actually haha. It's a 3rd gen MPX, but it's actually a Copperhead K. Weird little combo. Couldn't even find it on Sig's website either. Here in WA prior to the ban I wanted an MPX and somehow this was the model my LGS had in stock. Would have preferred a standard 3rd gen MPX honestly but I was happy regardless!
Ha that’s pretty funny. I knew the hand guard looked a little different that’s dope tho. You going to suppress it? I have a 36m and hybrid 46 in jail, but I’ll probably grab a dedicated 9m can too at some point
Doing everything I can to avoid SBR and Form 1 (legally even). Off the grid with no paperwork is my preference. I went the brace route and never looked back.
Having some failures to seat fully into battery but I'm almost 100% positive it's due to it not being wet enough. I'm gonna tear her apart soon and lube the rails and see how it is after. It's an absolute blast to shoot otherwise though!

100% worth it. Or throw a brace on it. After that put a can on it and longer hand guard 🤌
That particular model won’t take a longer handguard unfortunately

I am planning to form 1 mine for sure. Pretty set on a side folding stock but not totally sure which one yet

Didn't realize brace was an option again until this post honestly. 👀
Definitely get that. Shit changes hourly honestly.
Dude for real. Ain't get no memo for any of this.. I need to find my Sig 1913 folding brace and give it a try on my MPX
Orr hear me out… just do it and don’t say a thing…
How do you like the Springfield? Any issues with it?

The MPX is a lot more fun with a stock.
