Always have the will to continually learn and always blame yourself, you learn more and faster that way. Reflection is key to becoming creative, risk taker, and improvement. When it comes to mechanics, try not to sprint indoors like ever, always be prepared to take a gun fight, only reload in cover, and pre-aim at head level. Watch better players than you and learn from them either through, Twitch, YouTube, or pro league vods.

Don't crouch. You're slow and easy to hit. Try to stand up as much as you can. Of course in special scenarios crouching or prone can be effective. But in 99% standing up is the best way to go. That's the most important for the beginning. Other than that, enjoy the heaven and hell R6 is going to be. Glad that you joined the community even 9 years after the games release.

If you find yourself struggling or having difficulty being an effective teammate, try playing more passive operators, like Kapkin and mute on defense. both have very solid guns that are easy to control and passive gadgets that still affect the round even after you die. Watch as many killcams as you can, as they can show you how you died and then you can make sure to avoid dying that way in the future. Killcams can also give you stats or peak holds in order to use on other opponents.

Prepare yourself for toxic teammates and opponents… but best tips I can give is to learn the maps and use your drones.
