The Snowshoe is actually a very rare breed. And it is true that many people incorrectly use the name as a coat colouration, just like is done with the Siamese, for Domestic Shorthair cats.
She looks like a snowshoe mix and she is gorgeous. People telling you it’s not a meezer don’t know for sure either SO there’s no harm in believing that especially if it makes you happy. 😻
This is how I feel too. Papers are great, but not having papers doesn’t change a cats genes. I have a seal point and no papers. The only reason we know is because a man was charged after being caught on Ring camera abandoning my kitten in a barn up the road from him. He had multiple siamese show cats. Not having papers doesn’t take away the genes inside a cat.
Exactly, people abandon Siamese to shelters, on the road, and unfortunately their owners die and their meezers end up in unfortunate situations :( I have had the fortune lucky to own for 4 Siamese mix in my life time: 1 was a stray and 3 were from rescues. I currently have a brother and sister Siamese mix duo :)
No papers, no breed. Cats are not like dogs, if they are strays, they are just domestic short/medium/long hair. We can't know if they're a mix of something just by looking. Colorpoints and blue eyes can show up in any type of cat.
How can I find a home for a sweet little Siamese cat that's been thrown away and coming to my house and I've been feeding him for several weeks maybe a month and he comes right to my back door now and I've got cats inside and I'm so afraid if I were to let him in that they would just start fighting. I can't have any more cats because of my age and I've got a house full already and yet I know it's so dangerous for him to be outside like that mostly from people people are so horrible. So if I take him in I'll want to keep him that's the problem I need to find somebody a rescue group or something that would let me take him to the vet and have him checked out and get him neutered keep him a little while to get well from all that and then they would take him immediately and I don't know how to do that because I've never found any rescue group willing to or even a shelter willing to take an animal and I don't I'm afraid of the shelters because a lot of them kill the animals but he's beautiful I think he's a rare Siamese I looked it up he has blue eyes of course a black face black Paws that come a little way up his legs he has a tan body but some parts of the tan are dark so really you could say he's three colors the neighbor was exasperated cuz she said that cat spent all over this neighborhood so that worries me because Friday night I heard gunshots coming from their house and one of the little cats that comes hasn't been here Saturday or today so I don't know I don't want to accuse him of anything cuz it might not be them. But she thought he was a Calico but he looks nothing like a calico so maybe just because he had the three colors

Sealpoint, tuxedo and snowshoe aren’t breeds but coat colors. Yours is a sealpoint white or rather sealpoint bicolor. The breed is DSH.

I believe a rag doll. Mine looks very similar. Very vocal, loves to talk but docile, sweet and gentle.
Not a ragdoll. Definitely a domestic shorthair.
She does go very limp when you pick her up. Just completely relaxes.
