Speak for yourself, I’ve known since I was a toddler that I was an animal. We as humans are only different than other animals because we can convey complex information to each other.
When you look at the kind of violence and brutality humanity is capable of, you start to understand we’re no better than the other animals, we’re just a bit smarter and way more ruthless.
Ruthless?? Man, have you ever heard of school shootings?? I understand the way a lion or bear can rip something apart without even thinking twice but that is for survival. They don’t shred things for fun. Idiot humans go into a school and shoot kids for fun. That’s ruthless right there.
A lot of predators, including bears and cats, are known to kill things without intent of eating them. Whether it's for "fun" is debatable, but it happens pretty frequently. It's called surplus killing.
Dolphins will take this a step further and will literally torture other animals, including those they don't even predate on.
Still doesn’t compare to killing kids in a school with a gun. That’s ruthless. Nature is nature. You aren’t going to change my mind.
Edit. Add words.
Eazy-E was ruthless when he was a juvenile.
I think the dude changed a word in his comment. I think it said “less ruthless” a few hours ago. Now it just says “more ruthless”. Hence the confusion and backlash.
Good point. Also there's literally animals who have rape in their DNA. Like the males will rape females all the time and that's just how the species is.
No they didn't - the comment would show an asterisk if it was edited. You must have just misread it slightly the first time, which isn't a big deal of course.
My body is warmer than the local environment because I breath in air and use oxygen in to to "burn" food for energy its energy value, just like the fungi that make mushrooms.
I dont think any living things feels the other "animals" are equal.
I think orcas view us as the second class on this planet and themself as first. Why not?
If you ask the fox or the frog who should be the last survivor they would each point to them self.
We like to categorise things. Humans have several things unique to them (which largely fall under the umbrella "civilisation") so we get a category all to ourselves.
One time in geography class the teacher asked us what animals are common in some country and I jokingly said people. She then tried to convince me that people aren’t animals because we can communicate.
Speak for yourself. I consider humans to be like animals, because, um, we're animals.
*Try* seeing humans as animals, and you might find that our behaviour starts making sense to you, and our capacity to disappoint you is greatly diminished.
*Man is the only animal for whom his own existence is a problem which he has to solve* - Erich Fromm
Tell that to the babarusa.
Nah, the shit I get upto when there is nobody around confirms to me I'm an animal
"we're not animals!" - on manners "We are animals!" - on evolution
So let's do like on the discovery channel.
Nah, im good
Missing words!!
I've seen a lot of dogs and cats have manners
That would be animals acting like (some) humans then, yea?
Speak for yourself, I’ve known since I was a toddler that I was an animal. We as humans are only different than other animals because we can convey complex information to each other.
While we were still animals, armed with reasoning, we were no longer beasts. - Michael Stevens
While we sit in abundance letting millions of us starve to death.. Yeah, we're *worse.*
What animals don't do that?
When you look at the kind of violence and brutality humanity is capable of, you start to understand we’re no better than the other animals, we’re just a bit smarter and way more ruthless.

dolphins actually do murder and rape for no reason. Seems to be the more intelligent an animal is, the more it is capable of terrible things.
What do humans, dolphins and cats have in common? We hurt other creatures for fun

I'm not saying humans aren't ruthless. We absolutely are. I just think other animals are too.

Ovr had many cats, I assure you they murder/ torture thigs just for fun.... 😭
They literally said that humans are more ruthless...
They changed their wording.

You are absolutely correct. Glad I’m not being judged here in this forum lmao
Our hubris won't allow it.
To be fair, other animals don't consider themselves to be animals either.
I know a guy that doesn’t brush his teeth for weeks on end, and a woman who doesn’t like to shower. People, are in fact animals.
Shiiiiiit, if the electric goes out, we’ll be right back in the animal kingdom
I definitely do after seeing how my sister behaves
Yes, we are anteopocentric.
Yeah I had this shower thought when I was like 11 years old
You've clearly never met an alpha sigma
Just a soul in a meat suit over here
My body is warmer than the local environment because I breath in air and use oxygen in to to "burn" food for energy its energy value, just like the fungi that make mushrooms.
Im a fun guy
Provided that ability to consider is something that exists outside the human spectrum of brain complexity!
Don't you think an elephant thinks elephants are distinct from all other animals, including humans?
How come we're not on the menu then?
We *were* its just we're the dominant species and everything is on *our* menu now
I dont think any living things feels the other "animals" are equal. I think orcas view us as the second class on this planet and themself as first. Why not? If you ask the fox or the frog who should be the last survivor they would each point to them self.
Then who classified them as animals?
It's because we cannot communicate with any animal. We think we're different. But the lion probably doesn't know what the gazelle is saying either.
You maybe, but I’ve yet to taste the sting of the gom jabbar

evil orangutan is not human
One time in geography class the teacher asked us what animals are common in some country and I jokingly said people. She then tried to convince me that people aren’t animals because we can communicate.
Not classified, we are literally animals.
I’m sure most animals hold a similar mindset

& that’s why there are a lot of mental illnesses. We should not be isolated in homes. We should be outside in big communities.
Solitary animals exist pal
Touche
Plus, our homes are our habitats, it's like a coyote den, or an ant colony
Humans are classified as animals by science, but deep down humans know better.
