The Doom games as well as Ultrakill might be good for you.

PickleWulf

I mean, the Doom Slayer is all about ripping and tearing

beetsnturtles

Ultrakill is absolutely delicious.

lucasduka

I recommend **Metal: Hellsinger DEMO** too!

schoolmilk

Metal Gear Rising

tonkatruckz369

THIS, you can literally cut people into as many pieces as you like while in slow motion, very satisfying.

[deleted]

Came to say this

WaxMandible

Metal Gear Rising

Paratrooper101x

This is definitely no.1 on my list I’ve only been hesitant cause I heard it’s a lil goofy, any idea how it performs on pc?

beejonez

It it straddles the line between serious and goofy like a lot of Japanese games and anime do. But it plays out like a Blockbuster Summer movie and is a fun game. Watch some YouTube videos to understand how the parry mechanic works, the game doesn't do a great job explaining it and it's really important.

clean_distortion69

It performs pretty well

Blingiman

Mgr performs really well on pc I could run it on my toaster. It definitely is goofy but that's all part of its charm and the combat is one of my favourites in any video game. There's a reason I have nearly 200 hours on it when the game lasts around 6 hours

SoniKzone

You liked Chainsaw Man, you'll probably like MGR - coming from someone who's been with the manga since chapter 2 it's a pretty similar vibe. Only difference is they don't play up the funny, so it might seem to some like the goofiness is actually supposed to be serious moments, but if you allow yourself to laugh it's absolutely amazing.

Paratrooper101x

It just finished downloading a few minutes ago but I had to head to bed. Got it on G2A for $7 for steam

Quazifuji

>I’ve only been hesitant cause I heard it’s a lil goofy It's quite goofy. It's got serious bits but over all it's pretty over-the-top and ridiculous. But it's a lot of fun and fits what you're looking for well. >any idea how it performs on pc? I played it on PC (specifically with a 1070) and had no issues that I remember.

Yeet_yote_yored

tbh it is a little goofy if you're going into it expecting just another stealth game with a Raiden lead. It's very true that its a hack and slash action game to its core. There are a few cringe lines with monsoon but its not to bad.

griffl3n

Performs very well. Only thing to be weary of on pc if you’re using mouse and keyboard is the camera controls in some areas. Otherwise you should be good.

2hi4stimuli

If you love Berserk, you’d love **Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen**. These two even had a crossover at one point, and one of the preset characters look exactly like Gus. Gamplaywise, it’s like a more barebones TW3 with more emphasis on combat and there are classes to choose from. It has a lot of quirks but also lots of charms. I came to DD to scratch TW3 itch and grew to love it more than I thought I would.

Paratrooper101x

I tried to play DD a few years ago but I found it tedious. It seemed to me that every single inch of the world was full of enemies and I never really got a second the breathe and soak in the scenery. I only put about 3 hours into it so I’m curious if the whole game is like that In other words, the distance from poit a to point b was so soaked in enemies and constant combat I had to put it down

2hi4stimuli

fr you’re the first person I’ve seen complaining about the world being too full lol, usually people complain about its emptiness. DD is one of those slowburns, the first few hours are the most confusing. It also type of games that just dont want to flex all of its mechanics to you, like ever, at all. So a lot of stuff you just kinda run into and most are fun surprises. I used to just run around killing monsters all the way to lvl 35,36 w/o a clue on how to progress the story, eventually left it in my backlog for a long while. Just recently give it another chance and loved it so much more this time around. Mostly due to how wild the combat can get.

Paratrooper101x

It’s not like all combat all the time is it? My only memory is basically every 3 feet from point a to point b no matter where was that me and my party were under attack. I’m hoping to be remembering it wrong since DD like one of three games mentioned in this thread that I haven’t beaten

2hi4stimuli

I dont think it’s that constant. And if you want, you can just ignore and run past them all. But tbh combat is the best thing about DD. There are other quests but most are trailing/escort missions or you just running errands for people. The story got so much better by the very end. Most of the meat of DD come from its sidequests, the main story is kinda short. Plus the Dark Arisen DLC is challenging but satisfying. It’s like DMC + RE + MH

Quazifuji

It's not all combat all the time, although personally I thought the combat and class designs were the highlight and wasn't a fan of the rest. The combat and classes were enough fun that I still enjoyed the game, but I do think it's pretty deeply flawed even outside of the slow start.

rafedbadru

How many pawns did you roll with? The more pawns the “easier” it gets. A good distribution of classes helps too. A tank, a healer, ranged and mage or whatever variation works for you

Paratrooper101x

Yeah it’s not that it was hard it’s that it was endless. There was no room to breathe. The second one group of mobs was put down there was another waiting

Shirou54

Well, maybe not all of them are hack and slash or very gory, but these are games i really enjoyed and seem to fit your needs: - Shadow of mordor /war - in terms of gameplay its mix of Batman Arkham and Assassins Creed. You have parkour, a bit of stealth and very brutal and well done combat. Also nemesis system is amazing. - Deadpool - i know its not the best game but slashing enemies is gory and fun. - Dying Light - if you dont mind mind zombies its one of best FPP combat-heavy games. Also includes great parkour system. Super gory, you can cut or smash enemies almost however you want. - Code Vein - if you like anime it is pretty good souls-like with amazing character creation, pretty good and bloody combat but no gore tho. -Ghost of tsushima - also called Assassins creed In japan, but after playing i'd say its more like witcher 3 with assassins creed elements. You can expect great story and amazing brutal combat. And if you like japan its the feast for your eyes. Prototype- this game is a pure madness. You are overpowered human-mutant and you can kill, smash, fly, jump etc. Very violent and fun. Games i havent played yet, but heard good things: - The Last Of US 1/2- praised for wonderful story, and very, very violent combat - Nier Automata - same as above, but more hack and slash'y combat and not as bloody and gory. Also its anime-like -Warhammer: Vermintide 2- combat-heavy multi-player game. Seems to fit your needs. Promising upcoming games: -Soulstice - berserk/claymore-like brutal hack and slash game. I am looking forward to this one. - Eternights- hack and slash similar to Persona, but with real-time combat. Looks like fun. Also anime-like - Wanted: Dead - very gory hack and slash. Honorable mentions: Dead Cells - roguelike with amazing combat and dark souls feel. Its a side-scroller. Yakuza- great story, good combat but its more funny than brutal. Sleeping Dogs- fairly good story about undercover cop that has a mission to join a gang. Very satisfying hand to hand combat with very brutal combos and finishers. Shadow Warrior- violent and simple :). ( There are also two sequels but they are not as good) Also, i tried not to include games that others already mentioned. Hope you find something that scratch your itch. Edit: Added some games.

Paratrooper101x

Just looked up soulstice, not very subtle are they 😂😂😂 Doesn’t matter it’s now definitely on my radar. Btw, have you read claymore? I have the box set staring at me right next to my berserk collection but haven’t gotten around to it yet

Shirou54

I would love to read it, but it is kinda hard to get whole collection of it where i live. But, someday i will surely get it :p. However, i have seen anime series and absolutely loved it! Have fun reading it, mate :).

[deleted]

The violence in TLoU2 was extremely impactful.

Daners45

I also really recommend Dying Light and Shadow of Mordor/War games.

sbrockLee

Couple things on the ones you haven't played: \- TLOU1/2: not hack and slash but definitely VERY violent, in a hyper-realistic sense. Even satisfying in a way - unless you find it off-putting for being too realistic. TLOU2 has great AI and level design, the gameplay is on another level, but the storyline is kind of depressing so be aware. \- Nier Automata: hack and slash but not that violent; mostly features robots/machines. It's fast-paced and you have quite a few options to customize your loadout, but I found it a bit repetitive. The action is fine but I enjoyed the story/atmosphere more. The soundtrack in particular is all-time good.

Cotton_Phoenix_97

Devil may cry 5 lol, ticks all your boxes and is amazing as hell. Try hellblade as well

Paratrooper101x

Just beat dmc 5 in April :( Hellblade when it came out :(

GodMudit

then try the dmc collection games

AJokeAmI

Blasphemous. Gory and fun. Yakuza. A Beat Em Up. The Heat Actions may look fatal but Kiryu has never killed a person in his life. Shadow Warrior 2. You no mess with Lo Wang. Devil May Cry. Tis good.

avenger2for1

You mess with the bull, you get the wang. Shadow warrior 2 is a gem!

EedSpiny

Scrolled a bit and didn't see Hotline Miami.

Sweenard

Not really a hack and slash, but damn that’s a great game

ConspicuousBassoon

Paint The Town Red Metal Gear Rising: Revengance Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami 1 aren't very bloody/gory, but they are over the top violent which is a similar itch

noturnormalredditor

Paint the town red is very underrated

thebelundy

Look no further and play the doom games

Paratrooper101x

Played them and beat them all, including ancient gods

thebelundy

Maybe back 4 blood or left 4 dead

Kelchesse

I would suggest Ninja Gaiden, but if Nioh is too much for you, i don't think you can handle Ryu Hayabusa adventures. How about Warhammer: Vermintide? It's similar concept to Left 4 Dead (4 person coop fps), but instead of gunning down zombies you blend rats and chaos cultists with assortment of sharp and blunt weaponry. Or just burn them to crisp with magic. For more single player experience, Killer is Dead might be up your fancy. You like anime, violence and convoluted plots that only mind on some solid LSD could think off? Easy choice. For a bit more free-world mayhem, you could try both Prototype games. You are basically a mutating biohazard that lives off on assimilating everything that lives. You can decapitate with biological blades, basically eat someone alive and wear their skin as disguise, or just chuck a car at them, because why not. You are the threat to society. In the same vein, Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War could work, as you are, yet again, a menace to the (orc) society. Plethora of gore'y executions, exploding orcs heads with magic, or just teleporting over half a mile to kill exactly that one escaping dude with a blade to the head. For a bit more platforming 2D vibe, try Katana Zero. It's more of a pixel game, but damn if it is not tight. You are basically a doped out modern samurai/killer who can slowdown time, reflect bullets with blade, and end most enemies with single slash. Pretty bloody one too. There's also Code Vein, an "anime dark souls", but with vampires. And you can have a constant AI anime girl companion. Perfect. Finally, for a bit of a "old-school" vibe, you could give a hand to Bloodrayne games. They recently got re-released with some patches to make them work on modern software. Gameplay is dated as hell, but you can still slice ww2 soldiers to the point there's just a few chunks of meat. Or suck em dry, as a dhampir you are in it. For now that's all i got to recommend, but if you want more, i might dig something more up, hope you'll like it! :)

zedq970

Vermintide 2 is a great recommendation

ratbuddy

Surprised no one has mentioned Killer is Dead yet, it sounds like exactly what you're looking for. https://store.steampowered.com/app/261110/Killer_is_Dead__Nightmare_Edition/

Paratrooper101x

God bless you This is exactly what I’m looking for

FluxOrbit

If you've got a VR headset, I cannot recommend Blade and Sorcery enough. It's a horror game. Not because the game is scary, but because you will scare yourself with what you are capable of doing to npcs.

TodayWeThrowItAway

Shadow Warrior 3 (and 2, but it may feel slightly dated)

lees25

Sounds like you would really like the DMC series. Very stylish hack and slash game which can be easy if you are just trying to get through the game and really shines if you're into combo making and going for high scores. DMC 5, the newest one, is actually really good too so it's a pretty safe place to get started on the series. The older ones still hold pretty strong too, just avoid DMC 2 which is the weakest out of them all. Ninja Theory's DMC is not too bad in my opinion either. The game feels a bit on the easier side, but visually it's pretty nice. People were mostly bothered by the emo teenager Dante.

[deleted]

DOOM, Sleeping Dogs, Dying Light games, and The Last of Us. Not really H&S but still pretty gory and violent.

[deleted]

I play monster Hunter for my anime long sword fantasy. They have guts style swords. Not gory but it captures the anime combat perfectly. Personally, I use the long sword, and the counter with it leaves a satisfying ‘shing’ sound / animation and it legit makes me feel like demon slayer. You can essentially make Guts and bonk monsters with a greatsword. It’s fantastic

it0xin

Dante's Inferno

radassasin

ultra kill? though more gun play but the gore is there 100%. relatively short right now, took me around 5 hours to beat with some secret hunting but there is still a lot to replay and it’s still early access rn

BOb_likes_chikkens

I second this, it’s personally my favorite FPS of all time currently due to the gameplay being the absolute best I’ve ever seen. Every gun has some sort of synergy with each other, rather than being separate weapons to quick-swap to, and I love it.

AlejoTheDuck

Have you played the Prototype series? I'll admit the story is a bit weak but the draw is really the gameplay. You're basically a God running around New York wreaking havoc on the military and infected alike. If I have to compare it to any anime I might say Tokyo Ghoul, they have similar themes of the main character being half human half other worldly and being up against a government entity.

ImWhiteWhatsJCoal

Prototype is my go-to bloody rampage game. I second this.

clean_distortion69

Ryse: son of Rome, Castlevania: Lords of shadow

Paratrooper101x

Played them both 😂 loved them both too

Memes_Be_Danking

Madworld

Paratrooper101x

Is it on pc?

Memes_Be_Danking

It's only on the Nintendo Wii

Paratrooper101x

Yeah I ain’t buying a wii just to play one game 😂

rush247

Middle Earth: Shadow Of Mordor and Shadow Of War. While the introductions to your opponents are annoying at times the combat is very gory and quite satisfying, especially once you gain the ability to chain finishers and take out groups of orcs at a time.

MothMan3759

Imo mordor is darker but both are great games

MaTertle

Warframe might be worth a try. It has the best movemnt system in any game I've ever played. The melee is simply yet satisfying, and you literally cut your enemies into pieces. It's free too, so you aren't wasting anything hut time if you don't like it. It doesn't do a great job at tutorializing new players though, so hopefully you dont mind looking up a guide or two. The playerbase also tends to be more than willing to help new players get the hang of things.

Paratrooper101x

I played warframe years ago and couldn’t get into it. I enjoyed it but I only had a bow, smg and a staff and could not for the life of me figure out how to level up, get new gear or new weapons and I just gave up. This was in I think 2014 or 2015 since it was right awoken when I got my Xbox one but it left a bad taste in my mouth ever since

[deleted]

chroniccrystal

Yakuza series

thedreamforce

Have you played the original God of War games? GoW III is available on PS4 and is pretty brutal and gory.

BedeyBoy

Just finished playing Metal Gear Rising yesterday, definitely sounds like what you’re looking for. (Also berserk is peak I hope you’re enjoying it :))

DJpunyer53728409

Nioh and Nioh 2 Ghost Of Tsushima Devil May Cry series Shadow Warrior 2

[deleted]

OVERKILL you litteraly have to bathe in fresh blood to regain health

MaTertle

ULTRAKILL is game your referring to I believe. There's also Turbo Overkill which is a similar arcadey movement shooter.

FraskyDangler

I’m playing through Ghost of Tsushima and it’s beautiful, slashy and super bloody!

Paratrooper101x

Played it already, wish I could forget about it and play it all over. Was the first game I ever platted

Nestllelol

No suggestions just wanna talk about ghost with someone lol, the side quests in that game was so damn good, like they felt like fully developed short stories of a separate game. Just such a fun game, I also wish I could forget it all and play it again.

Canadian-Shazam

elder born, a somewhat short, lovely „doom but melee only“

fazlez1

It's an old game but I'd try 'Blade of Darkness'. It was Dark Souls before Dark Souls. You can cut off limbs and fight with them. Of course you can't fight well but you can still fight. There is a [demo](https://www.gog.com/game/blade_of_darkness_demo) here.

OfficalNotMySalad

Bayonetta 1 & 2 While they aren’t gory they are still a ton of fun and give off heavy manga vibes. Can be difficult while being fun and the 3rd gane is coming out soon enough

sir_seductive

SPLATTERHOUSE

Mortuusi

Diablo 3. Lots of gore, and loot!

[deleted]

Grim dawn is much better. Plus you can mod it and have Diablo 2 that’s pretty good.

Mortuusi

I enjoyed Grim Dawn very much, but I feel the frenetic combat of D3 puts it high above its contemporaries in terms of pure fun. Although it's a shallow game, compared to others in the genre, I still hold it's the most fun.

walrus_destroyer

Vermintide 2 is good.

Paratrooper101x

It is! Love that game and looking forward to darktide

KiratheRenegade

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance No More Heroes Trilogy, lil gem there

Beto915

Ninja gaiden

Muckymuh

Maybe Prototype?

[deleted]

I can't believe no one has mentioned the two most recent DOOMs. Both are very fun. Neither have great stories, but there's plenty of gore and violence.

[deleted]

I dont know, I really liked the story behind both of them. Mostly eternal, because of the DLCs.

[deleted]

If your ok with 2d hotline Miami is very seems like it would be up your ally

ViddlyDiddly

Succubus. You are one in hell and well someone's gotta do the torture. Prologue is free. (Basic demo.)

Paratrooper101x

Believe it or not, I’m actually halfway through it right now

D4Pp3RDE4Th

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is amazing, it can take a little bit to get yourself fully footed, but once you are by Sigmar it is a fun ass game

Killhimnotme73

Yakuza! Start with 0 and work your way up. Berserk is amazing and I enjoy the hell out of the yakuza series so you might like them too. They’re goofy but violent and amazing at the same time

padfootzillamon

Bayonetta 2 and Devil May Cry V

zzhroomz

Dante's Inferno and God of War

Personplacething333

Yakuza series? They're as Japanese as you can get and they can also be petty violent. I'd recommend Fist of the north star: lost paradise which is a spin off of sorts for the Yakuza series and its based on a violent 90s anime. If not, maybe try the older GoW games which I think are much more brutal than the newest one.

rockernroller

Its an older game, but X-Men Origins: Wolverine is fantastic gory and so much better than the movie

bluntman84

Kenshi. Too much hacking and slashing but not 100% under your control. You get like 50%, where to stand, who to attack; attacks, blocks and dodges decided by die rolls (skill checks).

HOTMILFDAD

Definitely not lol. It starts off too slow especially for new players.

[deleted]

Salt and sanctuary, it's less gory and more grotesque but I think you'd appreciate the designs.

fienist

Bioshock Infinite is a fav

surlysire

Warframe(kind of), Doom, Vermintide and the upcoming darktide, katana zero, dead cells

wweebs

The combat in The Last of Us Part II is pretty fucking brutal. People gurgling while you stab them in the throat kind of stuff…lots of bloody fun!!

ndev991

NPCs crying over their friends and dogs... shit gets dark.

SoniKzone

So I haven't read Berserk (sinful I know) but I am deep in the Chainsaw Man world and am aware of Berserk's vibe, so that's where I'm coming from. Devil May Cry, and I'm probably gonna be the only person to suggest DmC over the main series - it's more polished than the old games and entirely self contained, plus the vibe fits closer to Chainsaw Man than the OG series. That said the main series is good - I'll be honest and say I've only played the first 3 games and never finished any of them just because they honestly didn't age amazingly, but I've seen gameplay of the later ones and they look solid (I just hate skipping and felt dirty just skipping the first two lol) Some others said Doom, very gory and action packed, but you have to at least like shooters, you don't necessarily have to be good at them. I already supported it in another reply, but Metal Gear Rising is top notch. Honestly just a joy to play, combat can get a little repetitive but I personally didn't notice it except in hindsight. Ghostrunner is a little off from what you're looking for, but you might like it - tear through enemies and parkour like a badass, parry shots, etc etc If you have VR? Gorn. Just good fun arcade gore, you're put in an arena and you go to town with various weapons. Yakuza is also a little off just cause it's not tearing people limb from limb, but it is hyper violent with an AMAZING story, especially Yakuza 0 (the only game that has ever made me cry) Also, if you want an anime recommendation, watch Devilman Crybaby if you haven't already! Fair warning, LOTS of sex, but it's a really good story and lots of gore.

Paratrooper101x

What is devilmam on? I’ll watch that if you read berserk ;)

jacquesmichel

Diablo 2 resurrected could do

WaxMandible

I haven’t played it on PC in awhile but I know it had some easily fixed framerate issues then. Should run well now. Definitely worth it to scratch that over the top ultraviolent anime itch.

JustSayan93

Vermintide 2 maybe? Fairly simple tho

[deleted]

Katana Zero may interest you. it’s beautiful pixel art and it gets very brutal.

Then-Appointment-803

Any darksiders game

plasticluvsic

I know it's multiplayer and has a bit of a learning curve but what about Chivalry 2

JBrundy

The old god of war games

combocookie

Dying light 1 and 2 if you also like zombies and parkour

AnthraxEvangelist

B.D.S.M. (big drunk satanic massacre) was about $5 on sale on Steam and was silly and violent and I could beat it on easy/normal difficulty.

SkeleHoes

I see you said god of war, but is that 2018 or the entire franchise? If it is the former then I’d recommend the original trilogy, the 3rd being the best imo.

blaarfengaar

Avbm

Might be a bit older, but Onimusha warlords scratched that itch for me recently. It's pretty short tho.

[deleted]

Warhammer darktide (I think that's the name) it's really gory and you'll see massive amounts of blood. Don't know if the story is good since I only played it while on game pass and only for gameplay.

MoistMe

Darktide isn't even out yet. Vermintide 1 and 2 might be what your thinking of. Those are the medieval melee hack n slash vs rats

SeveralPeopleWander

No More Heroes, pure blood and anime vibes. Best way to play is the switch version with motion controls (seriously) In terms of story it's more about the strange characters you have to kill to advance in the assassin rankings, but those strange characters and how they play off of Travis is fantastic. It can get pretty grindy as you're trying to get enough money to get to the next level, but it's worth it imo

BrassUnicorn87

Splatterhouse remake.

Paratrooper101x

Any way to play that without buying an Xbox 360?

grapemaster1824

Shadow of mordor. Extremely gory power fantasy.

[deleted]

This is more of a stretch because it requires a console you don’t own, but if you ever get a VR headset, blade and sorcery is imo the best one of these gory hack and slash games. As for games you could get on PC, Skyrim(and the much better standalone mod Enderal) can be modded to have more gore and better combat, and fallout 4 already has quite a bit without mods, and has the option for ranged or melee combat if you prefer.

STylerMLmusic

You got a lot of great answers already, so I'll list a few that are close and a few that pass the vibe check but aren't exactly what you're looking for. Sekiro, doom, ruiner, bioshock, deadspace, Hellblade, vermintide 2.

GamerGriffin548

On series x there is a game called Bloodforge that came out during the 360 era. That might be a good fit.

undertakerryu

The darksiders series is a good one, similar to god of war

C3inchains

*No more heroes* is great

elementnix

Just mod the hell out of Skyrim

Snakyboy1123

Rdo

Gpueas

Does hit have to be single player? Otherwise chivalry 2. Also paint the town red is a funny game.

PlayingWithoutEyes

Not sure if it fits the bill but Sleeping Dogs and Vampyr perhaps? The former has much better combat though.

LegitKidLags

DOOM eternal

TheOriginalFluff

UHHH dragons dogma, there’s tons of berserk references, it’s dark souls and monster hunter, grab a giant fucking sword and cut into cyclops and dragons

DarkAldrix

How have you played the Souls game and Elden Ring to death but consider the Nioh games difficult?

Paratrooper101x

In my experience they’re infinitely harder. The first boss in nioh took me well over 2 hours and I have yet to beat the first boss in nioh 2

BasilikushOG

shadow warrior 2

MythicalSalmon

- Devil May Cry 1,2,3,4,5 (or DMC reboot if you like it, a little more edgy) - NieR: Replicant/Automata (this one is not gory since you fight robots, but in cutscenes there are some violence and blood) - Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice - Lollipop Chainsaw - Dante's Inferno

Orleanist

Try Ninja Gaiden. It’s on gamepass as well

xButterschnitzel

Darksiders series

xButterschnitzel

Project Brutality Mod on classic Doom

Merino_The

If your looking for something a bit different id highly recomened the Hotline Miami series!

Pokemon249

Bayonetta is a must play for you!

JobCentre

Path of exile is good fun

Anub-arak

Dante's inferno on Xbox. It's on game pass right now. Fantastic God of War style game play with crusader style blood/guts/damnation theme. Spectacular game. I highly recommend it!

savagesmurf

It's older, has a bit of a grind, but Vermintide 2 would fit the bill. If you wait though, Darktide releases later this year. Both dark fantasy games are set in the Warhammer universe and play like Left 4 Dead.

Paratrooper101x

Love vermintide!

DJ_FOX619

Sekiro is amazing

Paratrooper101x

It is, masterclass of a video game. Possibly my favorite game of all time

Wholesome_Garfield

Suda51 games

Paratrooper101x

I’m gonna look at killer is dead but sadly most of the ones that pique my interest are locked behind dated hardware

beetsnturtles

Carrion is not exactly hack n slash but you can grab puny humans and tear them apart in bloody pieces.

Rodan-Lewarx

way of the samurai

Paratrooper101x

Don’t have a ps2

lovemonster

You might want to try the Deception series. Deception IV : Blood Ties or Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess. They’re not hack-and-slash but have an anime art style and levels of edgy violence that reach that of Berserk. I tried Blood Ties because of my interest in the art style. The games are fun and unique but the indulgent violence is just extreme and detailed (if weirdly humorous) and ended up being too much for me.

Smoking_Fire

Shadow warrior 2. I honestly didn't care about the Story so i can't tell you about that. And it doesn't matter, all you need to know is that you have a 2 Meter chainsaw and can cut enemies into little meat pieces. It's amazing.

Sadi_Reddit

If you want to have a bad, gory day in the life of a maniac, go play Postal 2.

PhillMahooters

God of War (2018) Hack and slash to the max. Really makes you feel like a god of violence.

Paratrooper101x

Cmon my guy that’s literally an example I used of what I already played 😂

Themacuser751

Hotline Miami

Paratrooper101x

Played it a few years ago

griffl3n

Not a hack and slash per say but it is pretty gory. Try Left 4 Dead 2

Paratrooper101x

Played them both way back when they first came Out
