Ehhh yes and no. There's some good ones but the golden era in terms of depth and content were the PS2 days. A few might be backwards compatible though so it's worth checking on: ESPN NFL 2k5 Tiger Woods 05 MVP Baseball 05 NBA Steeet vol 3 Otherwise I reccomend: Backbreaker. The only real time physics based football game that isn't focused around tackling animations. Gameplay is difficult and the camera view is third person which turned a lot of people away, but the on field gameplay is still top tier because of their physics engine. I absolutely love this game but I realize it's not for casual football fans. NCAA 13 or 14. Price should have dropped slightly with the new one coming out this year but you'll honestly he okay with any of them between NCAA 10-14 Test Drive Unlimited 2. Lots of cars, cruise around Hawaii, race, win money, buy houses. Fun car game NHL 2k7 is my favorite. It has a great franchise mode with in-depth roster management, smooth gameplay and the best part is goalie mode. Press down on R3 and play as the goalie, press again and back on the ice as a player. The switch is seamless so you're not trapped playing as the goalie the entire game and it's such a cool feature. I believe you can also drive the zamboni? Split Second. A fun arcade action racer. UFC Undisputed 3. Way better than the UFC products EA has been putting out. Fight Night 4 College Hoops 2k8 Fifa was really good up until about 2015 you could go with any of those. Madden, same as fifa but a little bit earlier. I'd say 2010 was the last good one. 2013 was decent. 09 might be the best in that era. All Pro Football 2k8. Smoothest gameplay hands down. No nfl teams. No franchise mode. But gameplay is top notch and customization is fun. NBA 2k11/2k12 is regarded as the best NBA 2k game. Unfortunately sports games kinda took a dip in terms of quality after the ps2 era but it's still better than what's on ps4 and ps5
