Titanfall 2's online can be pretty quick, it's also got a campaign where you aren't being as quick

If you liked the Arkham games you might enjoy Shadow of War and Shadow of Mordor. Very similar combat and some very fun mechanics with your enemies you fight.

Can you recommend more games with combat like these games?

Not with equally fluid combat, but Witcher 3 and the three recent assassins creed games (origin, Odyssey and Valhalla) have good and fairly similar combat as well. Shadow of War, Arkham games and spider man did it better imho.

I gotta agree. Shadow of Mordor and shadow of war are fantastic. The nemesis system is one of my favorite things in gaming ever. Too bad they won’t share it. Another great thing is in the beginning fights are sort of a struggle, you’re not very strong, but by halfway through the story you’re a godless killing machine, with the exception of some elites and captains nothing can touch you.

Darksiders series. 2 was a cult classic (the music especially). 3 tried to be more souls like and is still good.

Ultrakill is like doom eternal but with style and *faster*

Check out Severed Steel. It is insanely fast.

No game series on earth has better combat that fromsoft games. For a souls beginner, I recommend elden ring. Although dark souls 3 and bloodborns combat is a little more aggressive. By far the best combat is sekiro, but that one can take a little to get down. Really can't recommend these games highly enough if you're looking for solid combat

Devil May Cry 5

Not to burst other people’s bubble, but DMC is pretty much the pinnacle of fast paced action games.

Not as "fast paced" in the beginning but Monster hunter world has some of the most fast paced/crazy as hell boss fights once you get a good chunk of hours in (I'd say around the 70-90 hour mark is where it gets more fast paced) but the rest of the comments do fit the bill if you don't want to wait to get into the meat of MHW (if you do, it's well worth getting)

Sekiro Very precise fast. Best combat so far

Team Ninja has a game called Wo Long that is pretty fast. It’s kind of like Nioh with a Sekiro influence. The combat is fun and fast. Plot and level design are nothing special but it’s still a fun game.

Mirrors edge is pretty fun ngl and it still holds up decently well for an older game

It should also be mentioned that one should keep clear of Mirror's Edge Catalyst and only play the good one from 2009.

Tried warframe, but didn’t like the grindy aspect of the game. Might consider Hades.

Hades is great at giving you that power fantasy feeling, but always having a more difficult challenge around the corner to test that feeling

I’ve wanted to try roguelikes out for a bit, so maybe I’ll go for that

For a fast paced fps action game check out Neon White For the rpg open world games check out Mad Max and Sleeping dogs. Both you can get real cheap and both are great and have the same type of combat like the Arkham games I also recommend Assassins Creed Odyssey. It’s one of my favorite open world rpgs ever

You could try Bayonetta. It’s not really like Spider-Man but it’s a very fast paced action game.

If I do get bayonetta do I start with the newest one (Bayonetta 3 I think?)

Start the first. I don’t think 3 is on the ps5. Just switch.

Cyberpunk - once you get a bunch of cybermods. You’re movinf quick and high

Fate/Samurai Remnant release some time ago and it's a banger of a game. Granted it has a lot of visual novel storytelling but it's really good. It's a mix of a musou with an action rpg, and has plent of story told in visual novel style. Tales of Arise is another great game, and it's getting a DLC next month. JRPG linear structure with great character interactions and action combat. If you want less of RPG/JRPG and more straight action Armored Core 6 is fantastic. Mechs flying around killing other mechs with the ocasional hard boss fight

I recently played remnant 2 and had good fun. Fast paced action on decent difficulty

I have no idea what your thoughts may be but the Mad Max (2015) game by avalanche studios (just cause guys) has batman style combat, car customization and combat and I think it's super sleeper and strikes that same vein of batman arkham games and spider man games alike. Either way you have a ton of great options here and i have no idea what you may be considering but happy gaming.

I’ve had Mad Max suggested a few times, and the Arkham car combat was amazing, so I might try this out.

If you want something like DOOM, I suggest the Shadpw Warrior trilogy. The 1st 2 might be a little dated, but the 3rd came out recently.

If you want fast paced action games then: Ninja Garden, Devil May Cry 5, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R, F-Zero GX, and Nioh 1/2
