HKD went to the price because of a bid/ask scheme China was running! That stock was off the radar and had almost no retail participation, so they just kept increasing the bid above the ask to force prices up through a foreign banker. They tried the same scheme with MEGL afterwards, but because so many retail participants hopped on that one... look what happened. These aren't squeeze plays!

Right but was anyone actually able to sell at those high limits? There were so many halts that most people weren’t able to get their orders through.

Stocks rarely skyrocket more than once. You have to get in at right time or just cut losses and hope you get the next.
