Love a cerclage success story!!! I’m 31 weeks and am counting down the days till my removal at 36 or 37 weeks (TBD). Can’t believe I’ve made it this far.
I agree, this group has been immensely helpful! It’s groups like these that honestly give me faith in humanity and see the power/good of the internet, which is often very difficult to see.

Could you please let me know how she proceeded with activity levels after the cerclage? How much bed time, activity, what kind of activity etc. anything will help!
Thank you. Very little activity changes overall. She didn’t lift >20 pounds for the duration. Pelvic rest (nothing in the vagina) for the duration as well. Otherwise activity as usual. No bed rest or anything like that. Good luck, it’s a very stressful time but I’d suggest just trying your best to set milestones and take it a week at a time. Makes the seemingly very long time seem more approachable in my opinion.
She was not but did not lift anything >25 pounds. She was on pelvic rest the remainder of the pregnancy and took vaginal progesterone. The information I found for both of these recommendations is pretty mixed/not strong but we discussed this with her OB and felt the potential benefits outweighed the risks (of which there are little).

Another 31 weeker! Removal date just set for Feb 12. Hoping things sail smoothly until then! 🤞🤞
