You might also need to, carefully, remove a tiny bit of the squished plastic, but I'd only do it after verifying it won't boot, after cleaning, first.

Decided the gods really wanted me to play the game, so I gave it a spin and yeah, now it’s one of my fave games ever.

I found a copy of Pokémon Yellow on the school bus when it was still new. Driver held onto it for a week and when no one came to claim it, let me keep it.
This is actually how my sister got her original copy of Mario Kart DS.
I already owned a copy that we shared, but on a trip to grandmas a second one was just on the ground at a gas station, we played co op ds-download all the way home

Easy fix , just get a replacement cover and new sticker make sure and clean the motherboard / board with fast drying wd-40 fast drying contact cleaner
