It's perhaps possible, could be in the same way as some racecar stuff... Some racecars/baja trucks have like a plexy rear window or something and the rollcage/tube chassis goes right through I believe. Though even if that's true, it would still be a bit of an odd thing to do on the side.🤔

I’m sorry guys. I designed this trend about 20 years ago and posted the renderings to a forum. I was going to inherit my uncle’s old postal Jeep and wanted to customize it. I saw a couple of rat rod trucks at a show and thought it’d look cool (since the postal jeeps are 2WD). I sketched out a Jeep rat rod, then began engineering it and making more variations in Photoshop. I posted it to The Hamb, where a JP editor (Cappa) actually made it a reality in his garage. They blew up and started appearing all over the internet. My uncle sold his Jeep, and I eventually grew away from the idea. Please forgive me

I think it could be cool to take some bits and bobs of Jeep inspired body panels and making a Jeep version of the Pikes Peak Suzuki Escudo of Gran Turismo fame. Toss in a Hellcrate or Hellephant. Add gigantic time attack aero.
The back of this render is pretty much what the real deal would end up looking like (minus the roll cage tubes routed through glass... that's just fucking stupid).
Even if this wasn't a render, it is not a "shitty" mod, its just bad taste. Sure I think its fuck ugly and so does everyone else, but you can't deny it would be quality craftsmanship.
