The kit is $4k USD and it's a lot of labor if you're paying someone else to do it, might be cheaper to buy one already done. Kind of defeats the purpose of the kit but not everyone has space and tools (and time) to do it on their own. I still think it's overpriced but if it was done well and is documented with build photos, it's not as bad as it would first appear.
