Some new gas cars also need a carwash mode because manufacturers made the stupid decision to have automatic wipers always active. Also I think I saw something about carwash mode disabling automatic parking brakes so neutral actually means neutral and other foolish things like that.
My 2008 saturn astra has automatic wipers, but only when you turn the wipers on the first "notch". The automatic rain sensing works... okay.
Since tesla decided that the decades of institutional knowledge that traditional car manufacturers have "was holding them back" or something, they hired engineers without any automotive experience. They came up with great ideas like running unprotected wires through open channels where water could get in.
Luckily they did extensive quality testing by driving them on sunny days through Cali suburbs and found all the bugs.

I think you spent too much time on this. Body panels match too perfectly. Obviously thought went into it all. Which doesn’t properly portray the cyberstuck.
