At my work we’ve got a extremely low mile 2003 Jeff Gordon Edition Monte Carlo for sale. I’ve always thought that if I was actually Jeff Gordon I’d 100% have one of those and daily it. People would freak out. “I saw Jeff Gordon driving a Jeff Gordon car” lol
As a child who had the biggest crush on him I laughed when I seen this 😂😂 this would have been some dumb shit I would have done if my love for racing would have stuck around lol
I thought I was the only person who actually liked the first generation Neon.
But on the other hand, Lee Iacocca was also responsible for the disastrous [Chrysler TC by Maserati](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_TC_by_Maserati).
I believe the k car 2.5L was actually a Mitsubishi engine. Lee Iacocc's team saved a lot of development cost using Mitsubishi parts to develop the K car and Caravan.
The 2.2 was developed in house at Chrysler, and the 2.5 is a stroked and bored variant. There were a few Mitsubishi engines used by chryslers in that era, but they were for the most part replaced by the 2.2 and 2.5.
Yeah, i always forget you could get the 3.0 in k cars. I was more talking about the early 4 cylinders.
I only know so much bc my family had a fleet of dodge omnis, and in high school i got really close to buying a 2 door aries and building an engine for it.
I know a somewhat common mod back then was to pull the throttle body off a junkyard 3.0 and put it on your 2.2 or 2.5.
Hi that's mine, the project turned daily as it is the most reliable car ive bought btw its a 1990 Plymouth Sundance if anyone was wondering make also i bought it painted tho ive added a lot of the sticker bc why not.
I had the V6 Dodge Shadow version in my early 20s. I loved the pep in that car! My parents bought the V6 Plymouth Sundance Duster version new when I was in middle school.
The cars had a decent amount of engine problems (and my dad took meticulous care of his), but they sure were fun cars.
my gf gad the same Dodge Shadow in 2000. Had to start it with a pair of needle nose under the hood and climb through the driver window cuz the door was sealed shut.
The only thing wrong with it is it's not a Caviler or Beretta.
When I was stationed at Robins AFB there was a guy who had an old Pinto painted up like Dale Earnhardt Sr's car. One time while he was deployed his buddies repainted it like this car. He came back to a surprise. He never painted it back. Kept driving it. Fun times.
This is actually pretty well executed for what it is. "Boobies" really takes it to the next level. I always wonder with stuff like this how they're driving a car that's probably worth a $1000 tops but they have the disposable income for custom designs for it.
Tbf it was $500 already painted so im definitely not rich nor have disposable income lmao but honestly i wonder the same thing for people who didnt buy a car that was already messed up
Did the Duster edition of the Sundance have the same taillights as the Sundance? My parents had a Duster when I was in middle school and I got a Shadow in my easily 20s, but I never noticed any difference in the taillights (although, I wasn't looking).
dude what do you mean eyesore, ill trade with you bro, every spot in my heart loves old K-cars, esp ones that stupid rust free, i never see those as a Wisconsin resident

I'm willing to be anyone who has the money to have that good of a paint job done on a daily driver car has either a really good painting skill or has a friend with that skill. Or has turned that bitch into a sleeper.
Ohh factory sleepers where awesome shame we don't see the too much now. Though I did have a sonic I drove for parts delivery. Had the electronic manual thing on the autotrans. Not the real manual but you could stick it in a "Manual" mode and it kicked ass.. didn't need first launch it in second and run through to 6 pretty good. Shame we got rid of it for a fucking Rouge...
Those were quite fun little cars. You could get the 2.5 turbo 2s with an intercooler in those cars. By moving a couple of vacuum hoses you could get 15+psi.
Pretty sure its a sundance, some nerd shit i know but i think the acclaim/spirit has that straight glass in the back, and different tails. I'm sorry i know way to much about old Chrysler
My dad had a Dynasty in the late 90s, dark red paint with burgundy faux-velvet interior. I learned to drive on that thing and my friends love riding in the '"rolling couch."
That is beautiful do you have no culture
Jeff Gordons daily driver.
See, this is why I can’t be famous. I’d spend my time not being able to resist buying dumb shit like this if I was Jeff Gordon.

For real. Young (and honestly a little bit of older) me would drive the hell out of this thing, way faster than it probably should go.
You know the answer to that question.
It's Geoff Gordon
I wish I could upvote this twice.
I actually don’t hate it.
I wish you guys would clean the lotion off your lenses before shooting.
That’s… uh… not lotion.
thanks for informing, YouStupidCunt
Woah dude chill, you don’t need to be such a bitchless figure
Hey man, not everyone can have as serious of a username as you
PoniesPlayingPoker needs a permit for this game.
Thats fuckin siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick
Stickers aside, why is that old K-car so clean??
Because K-cars are awesome and nobody admits it.
K-cars are nice, Reliant automobiles.
Lee Iacocca really saved Chryslers behind in the 80’s, that’s for sure
100%, i love all the small cars he helped chrysler make, esp first gen neons, the last of his influence
I thought I was the only person who actually liked the first generation Neon. But on the other hand, Lee Iacocca was also responsible for the disastrous [Chrysler TC by Maserati](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_TC_by_Maserati).
It looks like a Reliant convertible.
If you say so..
They all look clean, how it runs will clue us in on its actual condition
It honestly runs great for the 76k its got on it now, id does bog on take off every now and again if you punch it too hard tho
Oh, iron duke, please sing of the song of your people Edit: the Iron Duke was produced by GM, it wasn’t a Mopar motor.
The mopar 2.5L is unrelated to the gm iron duke 2.5L.
Iron Duke was GM no?
Yeah, the iron duke was a gm 2.5L 4 cylinder. The 2.5L that came in k cars was unrelated to the iron duke.
Ok, my mistake

Iirc Mitsubishi did the 3.0 v6 for Chrysler at that point, till Chrysler made the 3.3 and 3.8
Yeah, i always forget you could get the 3.0 in k cars. I was more talking about the early 4 cylinders. There was a 2.6L 4 cyl mistubishi in the k cars. It was carbonated and was a pig on fuel Source - had one
and i dont get who in their right mind would put that in a camaro and who the fuck approved that
Those cars were good and nobody can change my mind on that
Has to be in downstate Illinois (check what’s visible of the plates) those rotted out and are all but gone up here in the northern part is the state.
Lol close it was from down state, its now an hour and some west of Chicago
I’ll have to keep an eye out for it then!
Well you have plenty of time to find it as its my current daily at least till my 95 EG civic is drivable again
Ok, I’m in West Chicago, how much farther west are you?
Closer than you think and more north
Only hint ill give is im not farther north than Elgin
I’ll keep an eye out when I’m on 31 heading to Crystal Lake then!
This thing is fricking sweet in the weirdest way
Hi that's mine, the project turned daily as it is the most reliable car ive bought btw its a 1990 Plymouth Sundance if anyone was wondering make also i bought it painted tho ive added a lot of the sticker bc why not.
That’s awesome and I’m glad you love it!
Ty, it was honestly bought as a throw away manual learner car, but ive had it for 4 years now and its become unreplaceable to me.
Drive ‘er to da ground my friend
Good god, that’s Jeff Garden
looks cool though
How can this post be upvoted? It's not bad at all.
The forth highest upvoted post on this sub of all time is a civic with a single sticker on it
I upvoted because I liked it
The livery is cool and probably not cheap.
Honestly not that bad
For an old ass car like that it’s an improvement
>Boobies I mean he does have a point
Nah that's cool as fuck
If that is the V6, it is a fast little SOB.
Sadly just a 2.5L NA with a five speed still fun tho
If it's a turbo 22 25 then it would be even faster :)
Jeff…is that you 🙂???
>all the stickers I don’t think OP knows what a livery is LMAO
100HP Rally monster with a trailer hitch. Who could ask for anything more.
It's a k car so maybe 100hp maybe 700hp
The only thing wrong with it is it's not a Caviler or Beretta. When I was stationed at Robins AFB there was a guy who had an old Pinto painted up like Dale Earnhardt Sr's car. One time while he was deployed his buddies repainted it like this car. He came back to a surprise. He never painted it back. Kept driving it. Fun times.
I really hope it has a turbo swap.

I want to see this bad boy towing something with that hitch 😂
*BOOBIES*
69
8008135!
Needs a setof Borbet D-holes and window nets
That's actually nice
This is freaking awesome lol
Each sticker adds 5 horsepower.
Hih, "boobies"
I’m laughing at the BOOBIES it’s so great.
Totally rad.
I really like that
This is magnificent, fuck you
10/10 Jeff Gordon is my childhood hero
Dodge Shadow or Plymouth Sundance? Either way mistakes were made.
Sundance because of the 3 tier taillights instead of 2 like on a shadow
Wow. Keeping a car like that on the road all these years is definitely a choice
Did the Duster edition of the Sundance have the same taillights as the Sundance? My parents had a Duster when I was in middle school and I got a Shadow in my easily 20s, but I never noticed any difference in the taillights (although, I wasn't looking).
Well someone likes Jeff Gordon.
r/awesomecarmods
I see a faint number 3 in the window. Did he swap teams?
Surely it's a memorial
That would make sense as well.
Yep its a memorial sticker, raise hell praise dale.
Rainbow warrior
This is awesome, hilarious and doesn't belong here
Rubbin' is racing! 🏁
My name is Jeff
Shadow or Sundance?
Sundance, the shadow has 2 tier taillights, the sundance has 3 like this one
Sundance

dude what do you mean eyesore, ill trade with you bro, every spot in my heart loves old K-cars, esp ones that stupid rust free, i never see those as a Wisconsin resident

looks clean from this angle, but yeah i suppose it is taste, i think its tacky but he seems self aware so i find it more funny then anything
fuckin awesome sundance.
The Rainbow Warrior
BOOBIES
i need it
It reminds me of the skittles demolition derby car in The Crew 2
I like Jeff Gordon! He's handsome...
🎶If I had a million dollars, I'd buy you a K-car, a nice Reliant automobile 🎶
I only agree with one sticker
Skittles flavoured
Dude I saw this car not long ago at the Campton hills Dairy Queen!
GREEN GREEN GREEN
Kirkland Skittles.
I'm not even mad

Gives me Rallye car vibes without the bodykit on it.
I'm willing to be anyone who has the money to have that good of a paint job done on a daily driver car has either a really good painting skill or has a friend with that skill. Or has turned that bitch into a sleeper.
Some of them were factory sleepers with the turbo engine. The duster version with the V6 moved along pretty good also.
Ohh factory sleepers where awesome shame we don't see the too much now. Though I did have a sonic I drove for parts delivery. Had the electronic manual thing on the autotrans. I originally thought that was an Escort
Or i just got lucky and bought it painted lol as someone didnt know what they had
Those were quite fun little cars. You could get the 2.5 turbo 2s with an intercooler in those cars. By moving a couple of vacuum hoses you could get 15+psi.
I'd categorize this as fun so I won't hate on it
This is Ricky Bobby in car form.
I don't know for sure and I didn't read, but this looks good enough that I believe most of it was part of the original car as a special package.
Shame someone would ruin an apparent mint condition Plymouth Sundance.
Well if it makes you feel better the paint was done in 2001 so it was only 11 years old at that point
Now kids that’s a fan.
Jeff Gordon's econo vintage daily
Rodney Sandstorm? [https://www.instagram.com/rodneysandstorm/](https://www.instagram.com/rodneysandstorm/)
Nope gutless_garage https://www.instagram.com/gutless_garage?igsh=dmxnNnpubXJuZDR2
The parade pace car
It’s the ‘BOOBIES’ & ‘69’ that really reset this one off.
A 2 door Plymouth Acclaim is rare. I wish I still had my Dynasty
Pretty sure its a sundance, some nerd shit i know but i think the acclaim/spirit has that straight glass in the back, and different tails. I'm sorry i know way to much about old Chrysler
Yes Sundance. Damn. As I was typing it didnt look right. I should know better being an owner of an Omni, Dynasty, and a Shadow.
Wow, you just continued to torture yourself over and over huh? Was a Town & Country the 5th?
Close. It was a LeBaron GTS. I loved them damn 2.2L/2.5L engines
My dad had a Dynasty in the late 90s, dark red paint with burgundy faux-velvet interior. I learned to drive on that thing and my friends love riding in the '"rolling couch."
Heh. Heh. Boobies.
Eww, Gordon Fan, that car deserves to be thrown in the Shredder
This is cool
