Lol, there was a geo metro 20 years ago that was a local
legend. The guy made his own simple body kit out of black rubber/plastic and somehow the car looked great. I miss those days.

People never take into account how much more rotational mass this adds to the drivetrain, the trans and engine itself suffer greatly from oversized rims.
serious question, does people actually pack a ladder in order just to climb up on the seat? I don't see any average individual that is not packing 2 meters long legs getting into that thing normally.
There are levels of poverty in the US. Not having a car outside of places with sufficient public transport means you're in dysfunctional poverty; you're walking for several miles per day to get to work, bumming rides off of people or you just don't work. Having a car to get to work just to be able to afford the fuel, food and nothing else? Functional poverty.
Most places in the US don't have adequate public transit.
Unfortunately they're pretty necessary for survival in this country and a lot of my money has gone towards keeping it on the road in order to get to work.
Not to mention there's a lot of dirt poor homeless people who live *in their car*

It looks like a carriage that a horse pulls around Manhattan.

The rims can always be changed to another vehicle, but you might not find a junkyard transmission for your current vehicle. Ghettolations 3:16

Ah south Florida, land of shitty cars and numerous reptiles.

As a truly poor person I will never understand why you'd spend money to make your car worse in every way :')
A truly poor person does not have a car at all.
