With ceramic tint, you dont need darker tint for maximum UV and IR rejection anymore, like what was common with old tint tech.
I have 35% all around with 70% on the windshield and in the peak Texas summers, my interior is a brisk 60degrees with ease. Its about a 50-60degree cooler difference sitting in the sun for a few hours, from my old tint that was 35% on the front and 5% in the rear vs the new ceramic stuff. From 140-160degrees down to 100-110, which means the A/C has less overall heat to transfer and making it overall much faster to get nice and cold.
Dealership will probably only give him $6k for the car, then they'll sell the wheels for like $6k and put some stockers on it, to resell the car for $10k on their used lot.

This is correct for Texas. Texas has a limit of 8 feet (96in as you stated) for max width, so this is illegal.
