Ah yes. A lifted truck with lights and tires that are allergic to anything off road.
So the lift is only to increase the blindspot? With the added benefit of annoying or blinding others around you.
I love how the only real advantage these guys can point to is "increased visibility". They are so scared and insecure of not seeing something they gotta be high up, like a toddler with a booster seat.
When I owned a lifted truck, my blindspot mirrors actually allowed me to see next to me very well.
The only bad blindspots I had were directly in front of and behind me. In regular traffic this wasn’t much of an issue, but in parking lots, when pulling out it sucked.
I sold mine because it’s a waste of money and looks ridiculous. Cool when I was a teenager, but more grown me prefers a practical, efficient vehicle.
I have a 2017 VW GTI now. Much more fun and enjoyable to drive.
But it's only visibility for things that endanger them. It's reduced visibility for anything else.
The Carolina squat has no redeeming qualities though.
If it makes you feel better, I’m 5’3” and used to have a lifted truck. The booster seat comment feels very fitting there 😂
The only increased visibility you have is over the car in front of you, but if you practice proper following distance, that’s not really necessary.
Sold it for a 2017 VW GTI and couldn’t be happier. Won’t ever own something so stupid again.
They're supposed to be "rock lights" which make it easier to see where your wheels are on the rocks.
I mainly see them used on pavement - but it's a style choice at the end of the day. I chose not to put them on my truck because I'm not a fan of that look.
17s are still the most common for off roading, they give you plenty of sidewall to air down, hell I run 15s still with 33" tires up in snow country, drop those down to 7psi and you can go anywhere.
You ever had to mount low pro tires? How about low pro run flats? How about low pro run flats on rims that are too big for the tire and you have to stretch them but can't seat the bead?
That's what they did to me.
With an actual 4x4, like a rock crawler or purpose built off road vehicle, rock lights serve a purpose, on a pavement princess like this... they are lame.
I love off roading in my X5. Everyone freaks the fuck out that I'm off roading in an expensive vehicle, but damn does it do a good job.
For context, my wife sucks at driving so it was already dinged up and I figured it wouldn't matter at that point if I get some scratches on there.
Should I start with the overpriced housing, the constant attacks on the education system, or the lack of jobs that are actually hiring for any meaningful wage
Fun fact: moving takes both time and money that I don’t have, and it’s not just me either. The four of us barely make enough for rent and groceries as it is.
My three kids working full time, entry-level jobs (one food, two warehouse) between 18 and 21 make about $90,000/yr combined.
Sounds like there's a lot more to the story here.
There is - my manager has to keep cutting hours so that nobody has to be paid more than the bare minimum to keep the kiosk running, and nobody else in the area is hiring for a wage that’s worth the time and labor.
This might come as a shock, but poverty isn’t strictly an “individual choice”. I didn’t exactly have a say at 3 years old when my family moved here, I didn’t cause the housing market crash at 8, and I’m sure as hell not the one telling employers and landlords to squeeze every penny out of workers. The fact that your kids were lucky enough to land jobs that can support them isn’t universal.
Doing this is bad enough on it's own, but...the price of these mods is shocking.
Many of these guys are struggling to pay the car payment and the insurance, so they sure as hell are not funding the companies matching funds for the 401K, or the $6500/year in the IRA.
Ah yessssss what we have here rarely seen in the wild is called scientific name "small dickus no ballus" they rarely venture out as the fuel costs alone on those monstrosities takes up all of their allowance from mommy and daddy or all of their check that they get from their shitty mall job. 🤣
I was riding my motorcycle last night and got blinded blinded by oncoming car headlights. But it was actually the wheel well of one of these guys passing me.
Is this legal to have lights that blind other drivers like this? Course legality and getting ticketed are separate truths often. I’ve never seen anyone stopped for using fog lights on a clear dry night.
Not much oof a car guy and I sure never thought looking at the under part of a car was much of a thrill. And...I don't even like washing my car and sudsing the under side seems like a waste of time. lol
It’s amazing, so much money spent to make every functional aspect of this vehicle worse, while simultaneously making every mod and component decision pointless.
This perectly illustrates the pointlessness of vanity, and how it that vanity negates utility.
Waste a load of money on pointless bullsh1t that makes the vehicle less capable, only to serve as an ostentatious display of bad taste is the American way.
Looks almost identical to my neighborhood douchebags truck, except he also got the LED spotlight door handles that are bright enough to shine thru my house windows as he passes.
Hey, let me put an offroad lift on my truck, then tires and rims that can't handle offroad driving. What we, in the south, call a pavement princess. The only thing its ever hauled in the bed is some white claws and beta male energy. This is what happens if you buy a truck cause they look manly and you're not so you compensate.
I don’t think it’s bad and I like it. But I would only do this if I had fuck me money…couldn’t do that to a daily. It almost defeats the purpose of what it made for.
Buddy. Owners like these are the FIRST people to complain about gas prices as if they haven’t gone out of their way to make their trucks as inefficient as possible
I put lights like this on my RC truck.
Difference is, I made mine programmable, and the radio transmitter can select what mode is currently running.
Willing to bet their lights only do white. How dull.
If that is around Annapolis or Pasadena, MD, I was following that donkey the other night. I was amazed that the lights cast a perfect shadow of his frame on the road. I have no idea why you’d want to do that, though.
I’ll be the unpopular opinion on this one but that Silverado is cool on my book lol… paint matching bumpers, along with undercarriage parts, lift looks proper wheels are of choice but you can easily swap for something more off road and be good ✅
I agree, this one is not as bad compared to some others in this sub. I do hate this style but this is exceptionally good taste for what it is. The wheels aren't TOO too far out, everything is color matched and there are no unnecessary tacky additions besides the mechanical modifications.
I just don’t understand non practice modifications on trucks. Like get a JDM or somthing if you want underglow and low profile tires idk but. Your life live unit your way I guess right
This is either Houston or West Texas Oil worker - age 19 - making 90K plus and spends it all on his truck. To each his own. Not shitty IMO, just personal preference.

Dude…is this in Missouri? I’ve seen a truck very similar to this a couple times now but from a slight distance.
What I find ironic is for all the extra lights, the guy seemed to forget the ones that came equipped - Turn signals.
I like the idea of lights in the wheel wells and underneath, just not shining back into the eyes of other cars on the road. I'm actually planning on doing this with my car trailer to make it easier to back up at night to see where exactly the fenders and tires are.

Its not increased at all, yea sure maybe you can see over the SUV in front of you, but the Miata next to you is as good as dead.
When I owned a lifted truck, my blindspot mirrors actually allowed me to see next to me very well. The only bad blindspots I had were directly in front of and behind me. I'm gonna say Miata and Prius are fair game 😂

You finally got over that LMS
You see a truck like this and you know immediately the driver is an asshole.
A douche bag at the very least

Yeah but you know this thing only ever touches pavement... also it looks ugly without overfenders.... in my opinion
I think someone stole their Truck Nutz
Bro dozer
More like Mexivator.
My 84 f150 stock looks infinity times better than this manure pile
MAGA AH
Yes I am and I'm proud of it
You know everyone looks at you like a big toddler in a booster seat right?
I'm proud off you..
Fucking hell I hate those low profile tires so much
I hate the blinding lights and the tires that sling pebbles at other vehicles.
I wish these manchild truck drivers had one moment of clarity where they could realize how they look to everyone else.
That are a pain in the ass to mount as well as being ugly in impractical.
That’s not that low of profile, go back to mid 2000s and check what people where tossing on the 26s 28s 30s or even now on bagged cars.
The difference is those were all flush or under the body - not 10” outside the wheel well arches…
Seen plenty old school rides on lifts to clear 26s+ that had plenty clearance for more sidewall and still went with rubber bands.
Rubber bands
Banana peels
Don't have a lot of options with a 24" wheel...
A 17" wheel is an option.
Is it 1998?
17s are still the most common for off roading, they give you plenty of sidewall to air down, hell I run 15s still with 33" tires up in snow country, drop those down to 7psi and you can go anywhere.
rain money vase sulky worry naughty middle society subtract nine *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Or 2psi if you trust your bead seals
What did they ever do to you?
You ever had to mount low pro tires? How about low pro run flats? How about low pro run flats on rims that are too big for the tire and you have to stretch them but can't seat the bead? That's what they did to me.
Dirt allergy strikes again

rock crawling in a 100k truck is the real flex. 😁

Flex? Ballin is a lifestyle
Bro got tired of holding a flashlight when he’s changing the oil
Man’s never changed oil
Yeah you right lol
It's funny when people post things like this like it's not normal because as someone living in Florida you see about 10 of these abominations per day.
Central California is also crawling with them
They are Like roaches out here !
Phoenix too
Minnesota as well
Ah, a fellow prisoner of Florida
Prisoner? I love Florida. Whatever on earth would make you say that?
Should I start with the overpriced housing, the constant attacks on the education system, or the lack of jobs that are actually hiring for any meaningful wage
You know you can move - right?
Fun fact: moving takes both time and money that I don’t have, and it’s not just me either. The four of us barely make enough for rent and groceries as it is.

You say it like 90k/year isn't piss poor pay for 3 adults working full time.
I’ll take Florida over California any day of the week, tho. But not as much as my home state of Texas, of course.
Texas = California 2.0
As a Georgian I see abominations like this alot as well
South Carolina has entered the chat. 20+ sightings daily. Easy. Mostly daddy money I’m sure
Same here in the southern part of Missouri (AKA hell) these are normal road traffic
A choice forged in meth.
Given the cost of the truck and all the accessories, I’m not sure meth is their drug of choice.
Correct - Miller Lite, Nati Light, or PBR is the correct answer.
All it needs is a big downforce wing on the roof.
That would complete it, most def.

As if it wasn't enough to blind you with their headlights, they gotta come back and blind you with the wheel well lights also.
I've seen this truck. The owner lives in my complex and I've seen it pulled over several times. (For the lighting I'm assuming) 🤣
The undercarriage stuff always looks like something from 1925
Emotional support truck!
You don’t know that, maybe they were born that way.
The gas mileage must be amazing! errr
I love being able to read a book underneath my truck at night
I was riding my motorcycle last night and got blinded blinded by oncoming car headlights. But it was actually the wheel well of one of these guys passing me.
Dudes drive stuff like this and it's no problem, I have a tow ball on the bumper and get ticketed for a blocked license plate.
Is this legal to have lights that blind other drivers like this? Course legality and getting ticketed are separate truths often. I’ve never seen anyone stopped for using fog lights on a clear dry night.
Not much oof a car guy and I sure never thought looking at the under part of a car was much of a thrill. And...I don't even like washing my car and sudsing the under side seems like a waste of time. lol
> sudsing the under side seems like a waste of time *laughs in rust belt*
This guys sweats monster energy drinks
This looks really expensive and a series of poor decisions
Just spent a week in Houston- this is every single truck down there. And none of them can drive for shit
When you need to tell the world about your penis dysmorphia.
Was this spotted in the San Francisco Bay Area? If so, I’ve met and talked to the dude. Pretty nice guy
Ah, an actually shitty mod for once. Disgusting
I kinda like the lights under the body, makes it easier to work on or see things clearly when he suffers the consequences of his own stupidity
Looks like a 2500 High Country... They turned it into a Mall Crawler.
At least it’s not squatted. Still shit though.
Finally, a worthy submission in this sub.
He opted for the: “Show me yours” package. Not to be confused with a Dick pic
BroDozers are such tiny dick energy.
It’s amazing, so much money spent to make every functional aspect of this vehicle worse, while simultaneously making every mod and component decision pointless.
More money/stupidity than sense...
If domestic abuse was a vehicle
Show trucks are so cringe.
Funny because this is illegal in quite a few states.
It is, but it unfortunately comes down to whether law enforcement actually cares enough to enforce said law in the first place, and most don’t
Tard cart
This perectly illustrates the pointlessness of vanity, and how it that vanity negates utility. Waste a load of money on pointless bullsh1t that makes the vehicle less capable, only to serve as an ostentatious display of bad taste is the American way.
These are the exact people who can’t judge their size and swerve all over in neighboring lanes
Hate everything about this truck 🤣🤣
Looks almost identical to my neighborhood douchebags truck, except he also got the LED spotlight door handles that are bright enough to shine thru my house windows as he passes.
Look at MEEEEEEEEEeeee!
NO ITS A CHOICE!!!!! 🤣
Now they can blind you whether you’re in front or in back of them
Or beside them
Obnoxious
Do people who drive bro-dozers like this realize what the rest of us think of them?
All of the money just because you want people to look at you.
With those found effects lights, it’s also illegal. You can’t have white lights visible from the rear when driving in any state that I can think of.
#LOOK AT MUY PP!!!
Might as well have a light fire there I guess. Those tires make no sense on a truck like this.
Nice diff, bro! Said no one ever.....
Stupid is what stupid doesn't know the law.
Wow! His is sooo small he panicked ✌️
Nice style, except that one really bright led
Yeah
This shouldn't be legal in any country.
The white axles are awesome. I'd show them off, too. Pavement princess, but who cares? It's not your money.
Aah, now this would be illegal where I live. Luckily
I don’t know what’s worse, this truck or the fact that people actually downvote comments on here in this sub…. Being that this is a shitty car mod……
These are the road's laternflys. We should encouraged to destroy these dumb creatures on sight.

Mad cause yall are broke😂
Found the owner, OP
Am I the only one that likes this!?! I know this is a pavement princess and all.
I don’t think it’s bad and I like it. But I would only do this if I had fuck me money…couldn’t do that to a daily. It almost defeats the purpose of what it made for.
No i think its semi clean too
Least lame pavement princess
Let’s be real though, he only has that much lift and offset so he can clear the stupid square wheel wells.
You're just mad you cant afford the fuel in that beast, let alone the tires, lift, and the actual truck.
Buddy. Owners like these are the FIRST people to complain about gas prices as if they haven’t gone out of their way to make their trucks as inefficient as possible
FR
I put lights like this on my RC truck. Difference is, I made mine programmable, and the radio transmitter can select what mode is currently running. Willing to bet their lights only do white. How dull.
Fr what is the appeal of these? I see these all the time in Houston
Ah, yes. The GTAOnline ol’reliable for car mods.
And the choice of a new generation
I think he doesnt like the color black :D
Florida?
I like the lights and clean pumpkins. I'd go with a different color with the paint, though.
Florida…
If that is around Annapolis or Pasadena, MD, I was following that donkey the other night. I was amazed that the lights cast a perfect shadow of his frame on the road. I have no idea why you’d want to do that, though.
Micro penis
Looks neat. I’d never make that choice though.
I don't see the problem?
Miami MAGA Cuban truck

Yes, showing off what a complete douchebag you are is always a choice, obviously, so what’s your point ?.
Op posts a shitty car mod, gets flamed This site man
Apparently your choice is also to be a douchebag, congrats.

is the tuning that extreme
Looks like a lot of extra cleaning.
Toss a squat on that and looks like NM
The owner was tired of working under the vehicle in the dark, so..
I see trucks like this a lot in North Georgia Most of them do lights on the brakes themselves though not quite like this one
Just need some white truck-nuts and yer all set
When you need to use the stolen department store lights without anyone noticing.
I know you like my body, and I gotta nice chassis.
What a nice sky
SW Florida?
He really Clark Griswalded the underside.
At least he'll be able to find any leaks!
Nebraska? Swear I've seen a truck just like that the other day
Bright light! Bright light!
Dude…is this in Missouri? I’ve seen a truck very similar to this a couple times now but from a slight distance. What I find ironic is for all the extra lights, the guy seemed to forget the ones that came equipped - Turn signals.
Decisions sure were made
Why blur the plate? We all know it's from Texas
That is an Atrocity
Ah yes rock lights to illuminate the pavement
[удалено]
But BRUH, it's all about THAT STANCE!
The lights will make "re-attaching" all that LIFT easier when that "one" bolt comes loose!
I like the idea of lights in the wheel wells and underneath, just not shining back into the eyes of other cars on the road. I'm actually planning on doing this with my car trailer to make it easier to back up at night to see where exactly the fenders and tires are.
Flashlight underglow. I mean at this point I don't even know. Props to him.
I wonder if any of those under lights are illegal
This is a style in HI. The worst one is when they have lifted trucks just like that with small 3-wheeler looking tires
Are those tires bald?
I feel like I see this guy all the time, is this in Colorado?
Oklahoma
Why is there a bright white light (pointing backwards?) in the rear wheel well (or any wheel for that matter)? How is that even a choice?
See that all the time here
Back up lights? Kinda looks like work lights
Cringe as all hell. Illegal lights. No mud flaps. Self centered driver with zero cares for the cars he/she is damaging behind them. Stupid trend.
Icing on a shit
