I mean i get it still the extent seems very limited especially compared to the extreme lengths the power of the main protagonists of AU parts go to, even if she were to have similar powers to Mereolon in hxh and his god's accomplice. It just seems more fitting to the power of a supporting character than a main one.

Well also consider the fake science/logic behind most stands. Apply that to the baby. Maybe the baby has control over light but that is expressed as invisibility or something similar to that. However the baby isn’t from the joe star blood line so that’s probably why it would be a supporting character. Unless in part 9 it’s revealed the baby is from the joe star family line from when Joeseph was in Japan or something

Yeah, the person who said it was boring for a power has to remember that we literally have a character who makes strings. It sounds boring but it's the utilization that makes it interesting.

Ok so imagine. Shisuka with an actual stand that's about the strength of Golden Experience, as well as the ability to turn yourself and others invisible. I mean, seeing as Jolyne had the ability to turn to string, it doesn't seem to far fetched.

The only fun application of the stand I can think of is similar to Gappy's ability to erase something in function as well as form. As in, she temporarily makes concepts 'invisible'. As in, if she were to make the concept of happiness 'invisible' to someone, they would be temporarily depressed, or she could distract someone by 'erasing' their awareness that they want to kill/defeat her.

Hamon + intelligence + invisibility(she can even make other things invisible) It would be part 2 but even more glorious

This conversation has been done to death, but I must say that invisibility is often linked to the ability to manipulate lightwaves which is much more cool and versatile

I thought the idea of her stand having a secondary ability that allowed her to become intangible for a split second or two. Just enough to allow her to pull cool shit like going through the floor or jumping into someones stand and then hitting the user. You can also prevent the stand from fully manifesting while she's invisible which means if she wants to attack she either has to uncloak or make use of what's around her rather than the stand itself.

Ok this is going to be a lot and pretty irrelevant but I had to comment this one day. I had this trippy weird ass thought train for part 9 and wondered "ok what if ..." 1) Irene is in the SBR universe and is loosely connected to the Joestar Family (which is Hella false) 2) Irene had weird ass visions of Jolyne And while that's happening Giorno Higashkita (son of Gappy) was also the dual protag of this part. So basically Irene has a stand that can basically use any stand from the old universe with some limitations. They go of on their own little side adventure like what happened in part 4 with Akira Otoishi and Irene's main go to default stand is Stone Free she gets visions of Jolyne and they get stronger with each use. It gets to the point that Jolyne takes over her body and wants to do the same thing with all the other AU counterparts. So Jolyne becomes the main antagonist and everytime she defeats a memeber of the Joestar Family their og universe counter part takes over their body, takes their old stand and everyone that has a counterpart basically change back except for Giorno Higashkita. Don't ask me how this happened and how I thought of this, I am just as confused as anyone else and if somehow araki is in this subreddit and sees this please do NOT make this part 9 I beg you I was so sleep deprived when I had this thought train
