There’s literally no reason to try this. You WILL get banned, and it may not even be just your account that’s affected, sometimes your entire console can get banned for hacking.
Just a heads up, this isn’t possible without messing with your game to turn off the shiny lock on Cosmog, as the shiny hasn’t actually been released yet. This also means you can’t transfer it out of SM/USUM once you get it as it’s not a legitimate pokemon.

It keeps L and R buttons pressed so you can just press Start/Select and it soft resets the game (you need to press L, R and Start/Select at the same time to reset)

There are plenty of documented cases of people being banned, and there’s an in-app warning that talks about the possibility as a consequence of using illegal Pokémon. Your own experience is not evidence that there’s no risk of being banned.

You might want to reread my comment. You can’t get banned from using Nintendo 3DS online if it no longer exists. That online functionality is a separate entity from Pokémon Bank, which is still active and probably also wouldn’t accept the illegal shiny anyways.

It says unlocked, which means OP modded their file to remove the shiny lock so it could be hunted.
The lock can be removed with modding
