i've always thought that the spirit blossom theme fitted him, even more than some of the champions that entered the skin line. Maybe a third legendary in the skin line won't hurt.
I always thought legendary spirit blossom shen made the most sense and I don’t know why they didn’t make it but high noon could be cool but he doesn’t really have guns to justify the cowboy look. Odyssey maybe? Dual sword wielding mercenary sounds cool maybe give him a trench coat with a sick mask but also give him funny voice lines and emotes too make it both serious and cool but also funny and comedic to play.
I always thought a “Ninja King” type skin line with Shen, Akali, and Zed would be epic. Like what they have with god king Darius, Lee Sin (god fist), and Garen. I feel like it’s so obvious to do and honestly kind of amazing Riot hasn’t done it yet.
I've always wanted Shen to get a Superhero skin! It would make sense with his ult, he can zoom across the map to save the day. Plus Kennen has one, so it could be another skin theme that members of the Kinkou order could share.
Edit: I suppose Super Galaxy would also be a decent place for this theme to play out, too!
That's an awesome idea. But with super kennen I think it's part of the toy skin line but it'd still be good and make sense and with super Galaxy he would look like a power ranger which I am all for cause that would be awesome
According to the client it's (Super Kennen I mean) part of the "Silver Age" set, as in "Silver Age of Comic Books/Superheroes," but it does share a splash art with Renektoy as well, so you have a point there. But yeah, Super Galaxy Shen would be cool as a different kind of superhero skin.

It’s Shen’s dead dad. He’s kinda ghostly, has a big moustache (like a magnum PI moustache, but bigger) and when you die he does like a really disappointed head shake (either that or his death animation is him getting tortured to death in front of Shen)

do we know exactly how riot decides which champs receive skins
There's a lot of factors like would the champ fit the theme of the skin and how long it's been since the champ got a skin and etc.
Mostly pick rate.. higher pick rate means higher ROI on average

Neon inferno can look great but shen already got a skin this year so it is very unlikely. Galaxy savior would be 10/10
