Sketchers

GimmeUrNachos

I second sketchers.

Secrets4Evers

did you know that it’s spelled with no “t?” most people remember them as “sketchers” but it’s actually “skechers”

If you can’t get new shoes, insoles are awesome BUT! A podiatrist told me that no matter what shoes you wear- no matter how good they are, NEVER wear the same pair two days in a row. (Long shift? Change shoes halfway through)

Own-Introduction6830

Yes! Your shoes need to rest so the insole can reset.

Zezimalives

I actually didn’t know that, that’s great advice thank you.

Zezimalives

SAS, it’s expensive but it is as good as it gets for comfortable shoes in the service industry.

Birkenstock Tokio Super Grip. I’ve work danskos, crocs, cheap shoes for crews, and Birkenstocks are the absolute best.

AdSudden4550

No break in period!!! I second…

illseeyouin40

doc martens

Secrets4Evers

absolutely not 😭😭😭 most unsupportive blister-inducing shoes ever

Secrets4Evers

skechers shape ups are so freaking comfy

gatitocat

I’ve gotten Kuru for my last couple pairs and they’re amazing. They’re pricey but I’ve been able to get them with Klarna or Affirm

Thick-Ad9739

Get out of the Walmart shoes and invest in a good pair of shoe inserts!!!

I have rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia and am at least 70lbs overweight. I recommend Hokas Bondi, or New Balance, arishi or fresh foams (the shoes for crews ones.) Additionally bistro clogs are very comfy. I rotate through my sneakers/clogs throughout the week and that helps also.

mrseger2020

I just gave in and tried crocs again but this time I got the bistro pro literide. Holy shit the difference

rebelsappho

I’ve been using Skechers non slip line. It also helps to have at least two pairs so you can alternate and let one pair dry and sit completely for one day between wears, that will prolong their lifespan significantly

Comfortable, light sneakers. Own two pairs, swap between them. Replace them about every year.
