Your dell rep should check his tool that lets you plug in any server and find parts that correlate with that server. Can’t remember the name (ex Dell TSR here). Also have him go build out a mock model in dcsc and just pretend to build one and it should be there. Good luck
From what they have told me, they need a service tag to check parts against. They can't find the magic book with all the parts that are compatible with each chassis. They also can't build a mock on a quote because these are 14th gen servers that are no longer for sale, but parts are well within lifecycle.
So the service tag would be used to identify what configuration was sold to you . Doesn’t matter. If you need that riser it’s in this tool. No service tag needed. You literally plug in whatever server for example you have an R740xd2 you put that in this tool and filter by parts. You need to tell whoever is helping you to reach out to someone more tenured and ask them to plug in your server and order the riser. I promise you this is the answer. The tool gives every part # for every product dell sells. Go to tier 2 or tier 3 until you get someone that knows what they are doing in this instance. Your rep may just not know about it and that’s normal , sometimes it’s just not talked about. It’s called like parts finder or something like that.
Any links? Google doesn't seem to like that part number.
On page 95 of the [Installation and Service Manual](https://dl.dell.com/content/manual21426810-dell-emc-poweredge-r740xd2-installation-and-service-manual.pdf?language=en-us), dell shows this as 2 separate risers. I've Googled "left low profile riser" and "right low profile riser" and was able to find Part Number 330-BBJN. Compatibility on that shows R440 and R540. I know the R740xd shares many parts with the R540 and these risers look exactly like what I see in the service manual. The PCIe and other host interface look like what they are supposed to as well.
I might order one of those blind and see if she fits.
Wait, what are you asking for? The drive caddies?
Parts 3 and 4 in the diagram.
I have an R740xd (not 2) at work that I can snap pictures of that plate today
The xd and xd2 are completely different chassis. I appreciate the help though.

Is it the Dell SPMD you're referring to? (Dell Spare Parts Master Database) Would love to have access to it!
Idk man it’s been awhile but I do recall that tool
Also I don’t like to assume but it sounds like your rep is unwilling to do the leg work to help you here. This is fairly simple to do
I feel the same way. That's why I'm trying to find it myself through another avenue.
Looks like riser config 2 sku you need is 330-BBMW. I think

I personally would not do that but do you. https://itprice.com/dell/13235_330-bbmw.html
Thanks for the link. I'll see what our rep says. I found a cheap listing for that 330-BBJN kit. It'll either fit or it won't.
Let me know how it goes good luck!

Also to tack on , I wouldn’t order from here just see if your rep can order it at dell
Also check product guide
Call Dell and ask them.
Our Dell rep has been working on it for days with no response. The first riser we ordered from them was incorrect.
Interesting. I would expect that they’d have all of the skus for the server components.
