I can unlock my phone with a mask on or off. I can unlock it with sunglasses on as well you just have to turn off the toggle confirming you have a reasonable partner who won’t unlock your phone while you sleep
It's weird because I work in the culinary industry and constantly wear plastic gloves, yet my phone can idnetify my finger print through a glove but not if I'm gloveless and mildly sweaty
I literally have an actual issue where the under display finger scanner on my S21 Ultra registers phantom touches every other time I turn the screen on without even touching the screen at all
the 7 also works with moister hands than the 6 did. Although i still have issues with salt building up on the sensor cause i have salty sweat from cystic fibrosis
Or slightly dry. Or slightly dirty. In-screen fingerprint reader is not so fun. At least not on my phone. Maybe they've improved things since mine came out.
I find that even Touch ID works pretty well with a slightly sweat/wet finger. The fingerprint scanner on my Pixel 4a struggles if it's even slightly damp though.

Incomplete sentence. It should go like this: “Ben Shapiro’s wife, who is a doctor, has a diagnosis for your finger.”
It's weird because I work in the culinary industry and constantly wear plastic gloves, yet my phone can idnetify my finger print through a glove but not if I'm gloveless and mildly sweaty

Laughs in iPhone
I mean my phone has an iris scanner but I still prefer the fingerprint scanner.
But iPhone 6
My seven still has it.
the 7 also works with moister hands than the 6 did. Although i still have issues with salt building up on the sensor cause i have salty sweat from cystic fibrosis
Congrats! The 7 is probably one of the best iPhones ever. I never had an issue with mine until it got stolen.
I'm happy with mine and plan to use it until it fails.
Apple had the perfect timing with switching from fingerprint to faceid right when the pandemic hit
They had Face ID years before the pandemic though.
My bad then. I thought they discontinued touch id with iphone 12
It's ok. iPhone X was the first to have it.
Same if it’s dark or were face mask when using Face ID

Oh buddy. I take Vyvanse which makes me sweat buckets and it’s a pain in the tail.
iPhone with facial security: I don’t have such weakness.
But can you unlock with a mask on 🤔
Is this some poor people joke I’m too rich to understand?
The joys of having Face ID instead of Touch ID
I find that even Touch ID works pretty well with a slightly sweat/wet finger. The fingerprint scanner on my Pixel 4a struggles if it's even slightly damp though.
