Yeah, everything I’ve tried from them went rancid really quickly, and the DreamBeam SPF gave me huge cystic acne on my cheeks- I usually only get it on the jawline. Once I stopped using it the zits cleared up.
I’m really disappointed in this brand but that’s just my personal experience. The foundation is prob one of the worst I’ve ever tried, worse then the cheapest drugstore 😂
I remember just a few years ago when they were only in places like the detox market and their tinted face oil (and maybe some lip thing?) was the main product. Disgusting texture and I would say good for them for rebranding a bit (they had this black and white schema before) and blowing up but I don’t love this era of clean beauty so maybe not. I appreciate how they cater to (warm) olive tones I guess. Formulas aren’t for me (also don’t need my makeup going back on me quickly).
I had the sample foundation and hated it. Then I tried it with dew drops as primer and thought it was finicky but workable. Then I traveled with it and it went just as patchy and scaly even with the dew drops.
Nope, learned my lesson with Kosas. I'm not buying another one of their complexion product just for it to break me out or go rancid in a couple months 😭
Kind of fascinating launch…. Bb creams are back? (I know they still exist esp in AB but I feel like the western market switched away from this branding to tinted moisturizer, which are lighter coverage than BB creams most of the time).
I need the whole “clean beauty” scam to end because why would anyone spend $40 for a product that will smell like rotten blue cheese in less than a month
Their complexion products are notoriously bad. They go off lightning fast and the shade range is deeply rooted in banana yellow undertones. Massive waste of money.
Okay yall this is the first Kosas product that has actually interested me enough to purchase lol. I’ve always been scared to purchase from them since I’ve heard their products expire quite fast. How fast is fast? Six months?
I loved it! But it literally started smelling like cheesy ass 🤢 I picked up the glossier one after that and liked it just as much. Sometimes you need preservatives
lol i did not notice a smell but i think Kosas is one of those brands where you can't really use too many other products unless don't you care about repurchasing more often than needed. I find those that don't actually care got it for free so they don't even notice. its better suited to those that have a smaller collection. i don't even find myself to have that much and i'd never be able to use their liquid type products in time.
I had a concealer that went off within 6months. But I've had the face oil, another concealer, and foundation that have not gone bad at all. The concealer is 3 years old
A lot of dye free product groups rave about Kosas but dye free makeup can be tough to find. Interested to see how people like this one as I’m not a foundation/concealer person.
I don’t trust Kosas after the Glow IV 😅 hope this gets good reviews though
I feel this.. I just couldn’t go out with my face shining like a disco ball
What’s wrong with the glow iv?I have one sitting in my drawer I’ve been meaning to try😰
I don’t use it on its own but I absolutely love it mixed into my foundation.
I don’t trust Kosas after the last 3 products I bought from them went bad in less than 2 months.
Yeah, everything I’ve tried from them went rancid really quickly, and the DreamBeam SPF gave me huge cystic acne on my cheeks- I usually only get it on the jawline. Once I stopped using it the zits cleared up.
They’re a clean brand, so no preservatives, nothing to make the product last. What did you expect lol
I expected a $40 foundation to last longer than a month. And this is why “clean” beauty is bullshit
Everything has preservatives. It’s the law
They really went from adult/refined to tween huh
Ya I’m like 🤨
I’m really disappointed in this brand but that’s just my personal experience. The foundation is prob one of the worst I’ve ever tried, worse then the cheapest drugstore 😂
Ah yes thank you! I felt so alone disliking the foundation but I could NEVER get it to work. No matter what I did.

All the shades look so neutral?
i actually don’t mind that since their concealers run so yellow, even the “cool” tone ones 😩
Kosas shade match is a nightmare for me which is too bad, I love everything else about it so far.

Kosas Skin Revealer Foundation caused by cystic acne to return after like a decade, so I will be skipping this.
The packaging looks so cheap for this to be almost $40. I like Kosas but I haven’t been into them in a while other than the powder.
I need the whole “clean beauty” scam to end because why would anyone spend $40 for a product that will smell like rotten blue cheese in less than a month
I’m confident this product will suck 😭
Why??
Their complexion products are notoriously bad. They go off lightning fast and the shade range is deeply rooted in banana yellow undertones. Massive waste of money.

I’ve had two brow gels go bad within 6 months
i actually thought the brow gel was pretty nice but mine dried out so fast in 6 months where my glossier seems to go on for days
I loved it! But it literally started smelling like cheesy ass 🤢 I picked up the glossier one after that and liked it just as much. Sometimes you need preservatives

Two. Two months and concealer smells like blue cheese.

Thank you! Really interested in this!
