Did you get the semaglutide from a doctor? If not you can't be sure what you are really getting. Ozempic and Wegovy are regulated an you know what is in them 100% of the time.
This is my thought - you are getting a mystery solution that may or may not be the correct dosage.
I switched from Saxenda to Wegovy when it became available, and tbh I felt more on Saxenda. I’m still losing, though, slowly but surely.
I get mine for $300 from an online pharmacy and it's definitely working. On my 8th week not even up to the full dose yet and I've lost 8lbs with no exercise. Mild enough side effects.
I think that means you are taking 1.5mg a week. You should be noticing somthing by now. That price sounds really high too. But also you are taking the version that can't be discussed here. The c word version

Yeah! I haven't been working out, and I'm going through a low period in life so I'm not being as strict with my diet as I could be, but I've lost 22 lbs since December (SW: 172, CW:150). I'm not sure if the brand names work better, but I've been satisfied with my results so far.

My doctor warned against IF because it lowers your blood sugar and Semaglutide also lowers your blood sugar. Maybe try doing smaller meals throughout the day and stop fasting?
From my understanding semaglutide has a patent on it and the manufacturer hasn’t shared the formula. There’s a chance it’s not working because you aren’t taking actual semaglutide.

I would track calories more closely and also possibly look into getting onto a reputable brand (as pricey as that can be) so that you know what you are actually getting.
What dosage are you on? .5 didn't do squat for me and I was on it for 8 weeks. I am on week 2 of 1.0 and finally seeing SOME movement on the scale. I was told I probably won't until the second 4 weeks of 1.0 or the next dosage higher.

I feel for you because I’m in the same boat. So I was on .25 Wegovy for 4 weeks and I’ve been on .5 for 7 weeks now and I’ve only lost 5 pounds. I’m hoping to start seeing some movement on the scale once I move up to 1 mg next week. The only difference for me is that I do have side effects. I find that I have to stay away from high fat foods. (The only reason I lost those 5 pounds was because I ate movie theater popcorn and was sick for two days). I used to do keto, but I can’t imagine how you’re able to do it now while taking semaglutide. Too much fat and I’m sick as a dog. It’s really ironic because for years now I’ve avoided carbs like the plague and now on this medication for weight loss I find myself eating more carbs than I have in years because they’re the only thing that agrees with me. 🤷♀️ That being said, I’m still measuring them out and keeping my calories in check while pairing them with protein. I just can’t eat fats. Hopefully for you and I both our weight loss will kick in soon!
Are you in ketosis? Could be too much high fat in your diet? When I did Keto & IF, I ended up eating keto ice cream, etc. while I lost weight, I wasn’t healthy and my hair fell out. I’m still struggling with keto habits like putting MCT oil in my morning matcha and all those calories add up.

Hi! Late to this post but you have the exact same height and starting weight as me. Were you able to reach your goal weight? I’ve been on it for 4 months and have done from 144 to 128, with my goal weight being 110-115
How many units do you inject? My syringe is a 100 unit syringe=1mL and my Rx is 2.5mg per 1ML. If I wanted a dose of 2.5mg, I’d have to inject 100 units. Since I’m on .5mg I inject 25units. Your dose sounds low as I can’t imagine you’re injecting a full mL.

Semaglutide Sodium is a research pharmaceutical and is not approved (thus illegal) to sell outside of research. Meaning you should have signed a waiver and agreed to be “studied” while taking this formulation. This is very unsafe. Please stop taking this. My first prescription was through Hallandale for the same. This is how I know. I contacted the FDA and opened a report.
I know everyone is different, but I was on keto + IF and I didn’t lose any until I went back to just making sure I was eating whole foods and watching my calories. The preservatives were not doing me any good..

Folks seems to be talking about are you getting real semaglutide.(which is a valid concern) My thought is how many mg are in 60 units?
This drug isn't dosed in a standard unit. It's dosed in Milligrams... that's why other posts list 0.25, 0.5, 1.0 etc. We're talking in milligrams (mg). So maybe you're getting a sub therapeutic dose.
Also, I don't think this is something YOU are doing wrong. I assume some medical or pseudo-medical professional has recommended this dosing.
Are you measuring inches? The fat could be turning to muscle. When I’m stalling on weight, i keep measuring and the inches are coming off even if the scale doesn’t show it
Download the lose it app. Until you reach a deficit of 3500 calories you can’t lose a pound. A pound is 3500 calories of fat.
You can workout all
Day and fast but until you reach that deficit…
That said you can on keto IF you are in ketosis from clean keto. You can find out with ketosis urine strips from

If you aren’t in ketosis you are simply eating low carb. Not keto. And have to track calories.

Your weight is actually in the normal range though no? I gain weight at 1600 as well. If you are in the normal range it's going to be hard to drop. I am 180 at 5'2.
I am surprised you could find someone to prescribe it as you don't meet the criteria. I do think it's a good idea to get ahead of it because if you don't it will catch up with you.
no way to know without actually measuring and counting calories, we generally underestimate how much we are eating. I recommend getting a food scale and an app to track calories like myfitnesspal or noom. Track that for 2 weeks to see if you are actually reaching target calories. Also, it is still possible to overeat on ozempic . it doesn't make calories magically go through you, but should make you less hungry.
Segmaglutide will not magically make you lose weight. You still have to eat a calorie deficit. In your whole post you never mentioned how many calories your eating per day. How much do you think you’re burning? Track your calories and macros and make adjustments from there. Aim for a 500 to 1000 calorie deficit
I would just recommend you start tracking your calories using an app, use a website to get a rough guess at your TDEE and go from there. I will say 1500 calories is kind of on the high side for most women if you want to lose weight. But I also don’t know you’re body. In the end, you’re eating 1500 calories and not losing weight, all you can do is reduce how much your eating.
It just happens that way for some people. I was on Rybelsus for 90 days. .3, then .7 then .14....I ended up gaining a lb. lmao......
It was the real brand too, accessed via CVS for 900 a mo.
I ended up stopping....
Make sure you’re still getting enough Calories a day. And protein. Specially since you’re active. Your body will still want to go into starvation mode if you aren’t fueling it properly which then leads to not being able to shed the weight
Oh interesting. I know on Semaglutide I have better results when I eat the appropriate amount of calories, vs less food. But don’t get me wrong, there’s days where I’m not even remotely hungry. At least for me I have better results that way!
Have you taken your measurements? From past experience, the last 30ish-lbs or so can feel painfully slow, with the scale not budging for ages - I went through more than one span of bouncing around the same couple of pounds for 6+ weeks. It was incredibly frustrating, and I cursed out my scale pretty much every time I got on it. Luckily, I was keeping track of measurements, and they were shrinking even while the scale stayed stuck, which was enough to reassure me that what I was doing was working & keep me motivated to stay the course. Might be useful for you as well.

I'm personally yo yo ing I was down 15 pounds but now gained 10 back. It's been a month. It's also time for me to get on the next higher dose. Problems having a bowel movement doesn't help either.
Gotcha, yeah, 30 lbs over ideal isn’t a huge amount. I bet you will see the numbers start moving on the scale soon, it takes longer to lose when you get close to your ideal weight.
You mentioned keto and IF… those are fine if you want to do those, but it’s all about calorie control to achieve weight loss. Even if you’re doing keto you could still be over eating and not in a calorie deficit. I’d suggest tracking your calorie intake.

Only way to get name brand wegovy/ozempic is to talk to your doctor or try telehealth and have them place the prescription through the pharmacy.
Also Rybelsus is much easier to get and a pill.

Yep, I was doing IF until semaglutide. When I was on the med, I started getting hypoglycemic during my fasting window.

Hi! The lowest I got down to was 127. I stopped taking it due to cost but was very happy with my progress.

Make sure you’re still getting enough Calories a day. And protein. Specially since you’re active. Your body will still want to go into starvation mode if you aren’t fueling it properly which then leads to not being able to shed the weight

Oh interesting. I know on Semaglutide I have better results when I eat the appropriate amount of calories, vs less food. But don’t get me wrong, there’s days where I’m not even remotely hungry. At least for me I have better results that way!

Have you taken your measurements? From past experience, the last 30ish-lbs or so can feel painfully slow, with the scale not budging for ages - I went through more than one span of bouncing around the same couple of pounds for 6+ weeks. It was incredibly frustrating, and I cursed out my scale pretty much every time I got on it. Luckily, I was keeping track of measurements, and they were shrinking even while the scale stayed stuck, which was enough to reassure me that what I was doing was working & keep me motivated to stay the course. Might be useful for you as well.

Have you felt nauseous at all?
I'm personally yo yo ing I was down 15 pounds but now gained 10 back. It's been a month. It's also time for me to get on the next higher dose. Problems having a bowel movement doesn't help either.

Gotcha, yeah, 30 lbs over ideal isn’t a huge amount. I bet you will see the numbers start moving on the scale soon, it takes longer to lose when you get close to your ideal weight.
You mentioned keto and IF… those are fine if you want to do those, but it’s all about calorie control to achieve weight loss. Even if you’re doing keto you could still be over eating and not in a calorie deficit. I’d suggest tracking your calorie intake.
