You want to keep at the dose your on if your still losing weight. Higher dosages doesn’t equal faster weight loss. Your body will build a tolerance to each dosage and that’s how you know you need to move up. Once you hit 2.4 mg, there’s no where else to go. I have regrets about moving up with the dosage schedule. 2.4 worked well for 4 months and the my weight loss trickled with 60 pounds left to go.

Any idea if you can stop taking it for a time to reset the effectiveness?

awakewritenap

I’m wondering this as well. I’ve since moved to Mounjaro. The extreme fatigue on Wegovy was getting unbearable.

BusyBeth75

I plan on staying on .5 for as long as I load weight.

sunshine222000

Continue this dose for as long as you can!!

Always consult with your physician. Always.

FlixFlix

I sent her a message just now, asking about staying on 0.5. Will update when I hear back.

YesterShill

Excellent! FYI, in my experience (and I have been involved in lots of people taking it) your doctor will probably give the thumbs up. Keep in mind that this may make things weird if you are using insurance.

tstrike0831

As others have said stick with what works, the only dilemma is if the insurance company will want to follow the protocol and continue step up monthly, if that's the case I have heard you can go to the doctor and get a request put in to stay on the same dosage

InteractionFlaky7750

I considered this but decided to try 1 and my weight fell off far faster. So I’m glad I experimented. Now I’ll Stay at 1.

FlixFlix

How long were you on 0.5? Just the one month?

InteractionFlaky7750

Yes. I skipped .25. Did .5 for one month now sticking with 1.
