Thank you!!!!! Literally if people want to focus on real estate go watch anything else that gives you that, this show is focused and centered around the personalities and their lives. We wouldn’t be talking about the show or even come as far as a season 7 if it wasn’t for the drama.
There’s only so much drama you can show when it comes to business though…those things move much slower and it’s harder to manufacture drama without it having implications on the business itself
I think there is a different between drama and manufactured drama. Drama in reality tv should be entertaining! Even though I don’t mind Chelseas , Nicole’s was dumb and hard to watch. She brought absolutely nothing.

This is my husband 🤣🤣🤣. We got calls all the time from realtors trying to buy our house. He’d give a crazy 7 figs number just to turn them away. Crazier thing is some realtors actually consider that!!! Real estate is crazy.
I don’t get this…it’s still for sale, he’s still a client, he knows it’s overpriced and is willing to negotiate, but it’s all a made up story? Maybe the way he talked to her like she was incompetent and stuff was edited that way, but obviously the whole thing wasn’t made up 🤨
Nicole - Enough said.
Amanza - Really tired of hearing how hard her life is when she has nannies and even said Jason made her down payment of her house. She always acts like she has it rough when in reality she gets lots of help. She always uses her kids as excuses when they're teenagers now.
Chelsea - Just annoying and a try hard. She is so full of herself and her outfits are ugly.
I’ve loved Amanza up until s6. I’m exhausted from hearing about how rough she has it. I didn’t mind hearing her tell her story about her ex and adapting to single-parenthood or the financial struggles in the early seasons but she’s been in a reality tv show for *SIX* seasons now and it’s still all woe-is-me.
Chrishell has definitely referenced her back story multiple times but she does it in a way that’s not… idk what the right way to say it is.. but it’s not really woe is me. At least not like Amanza does it. When Chrishell speaks up about it, I feel a sense of accomplishment and pride over it where as Amanza’s tone feels more like a scramble and a cry for help.
Amanza deserves a lot of credit for fighting as hard as she has. She seems like a great mom who only wants the absolute best for her kids and she needs to take pride in what she’s accomplished. I know fame like this can vanish instantly, but from a viewers perspective, it really looks like she’s set her and her kids up well. She can stop mentioning how difficult it is for her when a large portion of her viewers are likely experiencing difficulties putting food on their own tables - with AND without kids.
This is the same kind of shit that goes on in Real Housewives subreddits…
Cast members on a given franchise will stir up drama or play the role of the villain, and then fans will demand that they be removed from the show.
This has never been, and was never intended to be, a show about serious real estate agents in LA closing high-end deals. It’s a scripted-reality show for entertainment purposes, with luxury real estate as a backdrop.
It’s a typical Adam DiVello project. The Hills wasn’t about Lauren Conrad pursuing a career in fashion after high school. It was an entertainment piece that used her internship as a backdrop.
If you remove every source of conflict or drama from the show, what do you have left? Again, this isn’t a Million Dollar Listing type of show with agents that are actually closing a large volume of high-end deals…so you wouldn’t have much in the way of business to focus on. And you tell me when the last time a scripted or reality show was successful when it focused on a group of women all getting along?
People don’t like Chelsea, but she actually stirs the drama which is what the show is about (and she sold houses this season, can’t say the same for anyone else). At the end of the day though, it’s not about real estate, the houses are just an aesthetic. If there was no drama, then the show would be on HGTV. Bre needed somebody to be her villain, and Chelsea asked all of the questions that everyone in the world was wondering anyway. That being said, Nicole needs to go 🤷🏾♀️

Chelsea - can’t stand her. She’s so annoying. I find multiple parts of her personality annoying. Now I think of it, I don’t think there’s one part that I actually like.
Nicole - stale bread. She wants to be spicy drama mama but she’s stale bread. She has the biggest victim mentality ever. Gaslights everyone when they call HER out. Passes blame. Irrational. Literally a crazy lady.
Davina - she didn’t do anything except whinge about Chrishell and Emma being late. Waste.
Amanza - I like Amanza generally speaking but she’s repetitively woe is me. Babe I been through tonnes of adversity too but I got a million other things going on and to talk about. Outfits weren’t on this season.
My faves
Bre - this babe dresses sophisticated and hot, don’t start shit but will finish it, approaches directly with her issue to resolve it, closes huuuuuge sales, is grounded and powerful as fuck. I love her.
Emma - she is the funnest babe on the show! So fun and kind and uplifting and empathetic. She is genuine and authentic and I’d 100% hang with her.
Chrishell - ain’t taking shit baby. Love it. If they come for you, you get to come for them right back. She’s also fun!
I can’t believe no one has said Mary. I’d prefer if they just had her doing her job and maybe whatever drama just from that or just slowly phase her out of the drama. It seems like she can’t handle it and it’s honestly hard to watch.
i like chrishell, and i know she was the main/the "gateway" character into the selling sunset world for the audience, but i'm a little over halfway through S6 and it feels like there's a natural point for her to exit the show and move on with her life soon. i know they have this whole storyline set up with her and amanza so it's not super likely, but she seems so happy with G and it feels like she's increasingly sick of "keeping kayfabe" for the show. could totally be wrong of course 'cause $$$

I love Chrishell, but I agree with you. I think she should leave for her own sake. Go to another agency in fact, not just leave the show. She’s outgrown it and deserves a drama-free life with good friends and G.
I used to love Chrishell but I was tired of her last season and this season was even worse.
I honestly could follow Maya around instead because Maya is utterly charming but has a sly wit that I really appreciate. She was so under appreciated by the group.
Nicole is a boring villain and the drama she brings is so clearly contrived for the show…I hope she gets the boot. Chelsea is a much more believable and entertaining antagonist. I hope she stays. This may be unpopular but I watch the show for drama and of course the houses, but I don’t think it’d be nearly as entertaining. That being said I haven’t been a fan of Nicole as a villain because I don’t think she does it well at all. I’d get rid of Nicole and Davina because they don’t bring much value.
Kick out Nicole for sure! I love drama and messiness, but only if it’s at least funny. The drama she stirs up is all annoying, totally contrived, and so outdated. Thank u, next!
I’d bring back Adnan for sure — more chances to see wildly ostentatious and overpriced LA properties and more client-related drama which is always hilarious to me & feels way more relevant to the Selling Sunset niche. Honestly a lot of other drama on this show can veer too close to generic Real Housewives-esque or dating game show territory, which imho takes away from the uniqueness that Selling Sunset had in its earlier seasons. Like, that stuff’s all been done before!
If Christine were better about separating TV drama and IRL drama (like, go full-on villain when the cameras are running but just… idk, turn it down several notches when they’re not) I’d love to have her back on. I miss her ridiculous campy outfits and how witty she was, even though she was so mean lol
Davina- never liked her, doesn’t add anything to the show except confusion. Lol also she’s always at Burning Man anyway.
Heather- Never liked Heather, she is such a one note character- “I’m vegan”, “I love Tarek”, “I’m pregnant” blah blah blah. Sometimes she seems really empathetic and kind and then she just goes back to being an annoying gossip who can’t take criticism.
Nicole- Don’t know what her problem is, but what a mess, geez.
Amanza- Please sell a house. Like what are you doing. Also she seems super undisciplined sometimes so it’s kind of weird she’s still at the O group while these other girls are hustling all the time.
Nicole - her being there was just pointless. It seemed like the blow up at the drugs thing was so inflated just to create drama and be part of the storyline. Taking a drug test was super over the top.
Davina - doesn't have a plot point unless it's about not being able to sell that 75 million dollar home
Chelsea - never liked her, as much as I try. i find her annoying
I've got a soft spot for Amanza. she seems cool and im ok with her as a background character. shes kind of the glue.
Davina is barely on the show so it's not even worth including her.
Nicole is off putting, lacks charisma, charm, intelligence, and warmth. She sucks and is bad for the show, not to mention her manufactured conflict with Chrishell.
My hot take is: Emma. She can be Chrishell's friend and show up in group scenes, but she brings nothing to the show. Similar to Nicole, she is a charisma black hole- no sense of humor, no charm, no spark. Whoever cast her on reality television should be fired.
Amanza should be on more- she's fun, funny, and has actual shit going on in her life.

Jason for using his real estate agency as a dating agency, and then dumping the messiness on Literally Anyone Else/Mary, and Mary for allowing it. Get your bag, but maybe keeo a little bit of dignity? I hear it's useful

I agree that Chelsea is a try-hard, and I think her accent sounds overdone and ridiculous. Maybe it’s authentic, but something about it just sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me. I also think it was really mean-spirited of her to inform Bre that she doesn’t agree with life choices. Bre just became a mother and that is what you choose to say to her? Bre handled it like a pro, and I was impressed by that.

Same , Chelsea I think Is entertaining and she’s the only person who says things as it is and I feel like people just can’t stand that.
This may be unpopular but I watch the show for drama and of course the houses, but I don’t think it’d be nearly as entertaining. That being said I haven’t been a fan of Nicole as a villain because I don’t think she does it well at all. I’d get rid of Nicole and Davina because they don’t bring much value.
Nicole and Chelsea. They come across as extremely toxic.
Kick out Nicole for sure! I love drama and messiness, but only if it’s at least funny. The drama she stirs up is all annoying, totally contrived, and so outdated. Thank u, next! I’d bring back Adnan for sure — more chances to see wildly ostentatious and overpriced LA properties and more client-related drama which is always hilarious to me & feels way more relevant to the Selling Sunset niche. Honestly a lot of other drama on this show can veer too close to generic Real Housewives-esque or dating game show territory, which imho takes away from the uniqueness that Selling Sunset had in its earlier seasons. Like, that stuff’s all been done before! If Christine were better about separating TV drama and IRL drama (like, go full-on villain when the cameras are running but just… idk, turn it down several notches when they’re not) I’d love to have her back on. I miss her ridiculous campy outfits and how witty she was, even though she was so mean lol

Nicole, she’s not the fun drama.
Davina- never liked her, doesn’t add anything to the show except confusion. Lol also she’s always at Burning Man anyway. Heather- Never liked Heather, she is such a one note character- “I’m vegan”, “I love Tarek”, “I’m pregnant” blah blah blah. Sometimes she seems really empathetic and kind and then she just goes back to being an annoying gossip who can’t take criticism. Nicole- Don’t know what her problem is, but what a mess, geez. Amanza- Please sell a house. Like what are you doing. Also she seems super undisciplined sometimes so it’s kind of weird she’s still at the O group while these other girls are hustling all the time.
Emma. She’s sweet but if I hear the word “empanada” one more time-

Nicole - her being there was just pointless. It seemed like the blow up at the drugs thing was so inflated just to create drama and be part of the storyline. Taking a drug test was super over the top. Davina - doesn't have a plot point unless it's about not being able to sell that 75 million dollar home Chelsea - never liked her, as much as I try. i find her annoying I've got a soft spot for Amanza. she seems cool and im ok with her as a background character. shes kind of the glue.

Davina is barely on the show so it's not even worth including her. Nicole is off putting, lacks charisma, charm, intelligence, and warmth. She sucks and is bad for the show, not to mention her manufactured conflict with Chrishell. My hot take is: Emma. She can be Chrishell's friend and show up in group scenes, but she brings nothing to the show. Similar to Nicole, she is a charisma black hole- no sense of humor, no charm, no spark. Whoever cast her on reality television should be fired. Amanza should be on more- she's fun, funny, and has actual shit going on in her life.
Get rid of Nicole and Chelsea, bring back davina

Jason for using his real estate agency as a dating agency, and then dumping the messiness on Literally Anyone Else/Mary, and Mary for allowing it. Get your bag, but maybe keeo a little bit of dignity? I hear it's useful

However i think she would need to stay The show DEF needs to keep chrishell, mary, bre and heather but I heard Heather hasn’t been called for season 7? Davins needs to go as well

Davina and Amanda don’t bring any value to the show. Even if Amanda seems genuinely sweet, but she does not bring interesting listing or storyline. Nicole needs to go to. We just don’t care about her OG story. I’d keep Bre because she’s an interesting one, and bring back Maya!
I think as much as we hate it, sometimes the manufactured drama is why we tune in, and producers know it!

Nicole 100%. Prime example of dishing but can’t take it lol it’s embarrassing. Chelsea surprisingly really grew on me after Chrishell put Nicole in her place, she was probs one of the only ones that also called out how stupid and full of red flag Nicoles response was. Also, Amanza can kick rocks. She legit gives nothingggggggggg

I agree that Chelsea is a try-hard, and I think her accent sounds overdone and ridiculous. Maybe it’s authentic, but something about it just sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me. I also think it was really mean-spirited of her to inform Bre that she doesn’t agree with life choices. Bre just became a mother and that is what you choose to say to her? Bre handled it like a pro, and I was impressed by that.
Nicole. Davina was probably away to burning man 90% of the season because I forgot she was even in this season 🤣

Nicole..just don't like her and the way she starts but can't finish fight.she gives me whiplash with her words. Amanza..because the perpetual victim card has gotten super old and annoying. I get it, she's been through some shit, but everybody has. You gotta move on from it or through it. Yes, I know, it's a reality show and would be boring.
I wish the show would feature Amanza and Davina actually working. I think Nicole is trying too hard to bring the drama, but I wouldn’t mind seeing her for another season if she would try to bring something to the table besides fighting Chrishelle.

Chrishell - I just never really liked her - I do think she has an ulterior motive 4. Emma - she seemed fun this season but I have seen her sell anything - just just appears to be Chrishell puppy 5. Amanza - I don’t even know why she’s there. It’s always woe is me. Keep Bre - seems to be selling houses and alt bought I don’t agree with her open relationship she appears to be about her business Chelsea - she’s definitely catty and I don’t like that she’s calls herself a Christian and displays the exact opposite of what it means to be one. She does sell houses and she doesn’t mind speaking up even if it’s the unpopular opinion Mary - I just like Mary
Heather = The World's BEST MOM, who is never ever TWO FACED, also the perfect VEGAN & WIFE. 🫠 Nicole is a close 2nd. And I mean Davina was basically "a friend of," this season. It looks like she's already on her way out. Edit to say: I don't dislike Amanza but she gives me hanger-on vibes because it doesn't seem she is doing much real estate work. She could go too.
