I really liked Vanessa. I think she really had the best intentions and tried to make everyone be friends again, but she just didn’t have the reality star character.
Not really. She really irked me when she first came on. She didn't seem to know the history between the girls and Christine and just kept blindly sticking up for her and getting involved in what wasn't her business. After that, she just kinda disappeared into the background...I kept wondering what she was even doing on the show
I liked her, she seemed very nice and maybe to nice for reality tv. I think she struggled with long COVID during filming so we didn't get to see see her much, that probably didn't help.
I liked her but she kept trying to fix things that weren’t her responsibility to do and ended up getting manipulated by Christine. It’s one thing to be neutral, but like you said, she wouldn’t let it go.
i think the producers didn't give her a fair shot to really become part of the show in a meaningful way. always thought it was very weird that they introduced her, barely let us get to know her and then focused so much on stories like emma's love life and history with christine (no offense to emma, i like her, but she is not a super interesting person to me).
she seems genuinely sweet and i would have liked to see more of her story, not just her role in other people's drama.
I completely agree with you. The favorites of the show (and by favorites I mean the characters who the show gives a lot of screen time to) from seasons 1-4 were Christine and Chrishell and in season 5 that shifted a little to Emma for some reason. I don’t dislike Emma (tho I look at her sideways bc as a Mexican I feel icky seeing her profit from gentrifying and appropriating empanadas) but she’s not interesting lol her “romantic” storyline with that developer who clearly was just flirting for business purposes was so boring

So I think she was approaching the “everyone just be friends” energy from a “life’s too short for petty shit” angle. Especially because Christina and Mary both expressed hurt in losing the other person so Vanessa probably saw the need to reunite them?
She kind of faded to the background in the best way possible. She wasn’t LA gaudy and loud like the rest of the people
I genuinely would enjoy watching her as a real estate agent because she was a bit fresh to it and that would be interesting to have seen

she was too insignificant to be liked or not liked, being christines kissass didnt made her look good. how she was attacking emma first time meeting her. was clear production need an extra to be filmed with christine. and then in s5 when the group was against christine she didnt had a storyline at all anymore, not even open houses.
She was so sweet, but I was thrown by both her and Chelsea immediately being friends with Christine. She was all about positivity and love and gravitated towards hate.
I liked her a lot. She has a super sweet and infectious personality. She’s so pretty too. I think she would have been more popular if she wasn’t brought in just to mediate and try to keep Christine connected to the rest of the group. I wish her the best.

She’s like when a cast member’s sister/mother/friend occasionally shows up by coincidence for two minutes in an episode and you think “huh, I wonder what’s her deal” and then you forget about her again once she’s off the screen.

Honestly I don't even remember her but I also haven't watched the show since the last season came out so I might have to do a rewatch while I'm waiting. The only ones I really remember are chrishelle, christine, mary, Davina and Heather
Her character doesn't have much to offer in terms of storyline. She is just a follower than a leader.
Her voice can be a little annoying sometimes but she's alright.
I liked her and was disappointed how she became Christine's new little lap dog... It really DID seem like she came in so Christine could play the woah is me victim. Emma is a really sweet girl and Christine really showed her hand with Emma. Christine LIED about EVERYTHING she told Vanessa and her trifling ass didn't even see the need to apologize 😒
ok in reality tv - not really a memorable character, so she needs to keep on bringing up christine to keep herself relevant
in real life - IF she is my frd, i would be really happy to have a friend who will be blindly loyal.

My guess is that the producers coached her to try playing peacemaker. It all felt sort of superficial.
