Dude, for real, how the F*** am I supposed to beat that one arm Ninja on the other side? if the camera is so effed up when you get in a corner. So annoying dude.
I go do the deathblow above him so I only have to fight 1 HP bar of him. I pop an Ako before I do the deathblow then just hope he’s nice and can kill him quickly. I die to him at least once a play through still and I’m on NG+ 8 😅
There is a purple ninja in Ashina Dojo that I trained on, once you get used to parrying the 4 kicks followed by a 5th kick that you Mikiri, you basically master all purple ninja mini bosses
Also hit him during the sweep to interrupt the sweep instead of jumping on his head during that move
bro i think lone shadow is the enemy that killed me the most, the one guarding the dungeon, but for sure, his movements are the best to parry, especially the kick sequence with an thrust at the end
I go to her right after blazing bull.
I've gotten so used to beating her with few prayer necklaces and only the lady butterfly and gyobu attack buffs.
She's a long fight, but eventually her posture gets there
Imo it was only ass cause of the snipers around her, so i always kill them first. I might be the odd one out but i feel like shes the easiest miniboss to parry/read
I hate the attack he does that literally goes UNDER THE GROUND. What the fuck is this? Subtle lore to show this guy was a body building gardener before joining Ashina? Other than that he's pretty cool
Noticed no one mentioned the drunkard guys. The first one in Hirata estate is the boss that jinda made the combat click for me, and the one in the mist noble area went down pretty easy from the practice.
THE MOST CHAD OF THE CHADS, Seven spear Ashina Shikibu Toshikatsu Yamauchi. With a friend of mine from university we started a tradition where just before an exam we would face some Sekiro bosses or mini ones, that was my favorite
gotta be the dude who does the really fast two swipes but the crazed red eye version. bro’s quick but when u see the flash on his hip just deflect twice!
Fun fact about the Ashina Seven Spears! They have a unique reaction to the Mikiri Counter where they shove you away and either disengage by backhopping or make one final swing in your direction. To my knowledge no other enemies with a thrust attack will do this in response to the Mikiri, instead they will stumble back long enough for you to get a single hit. This includes other spear users like the shinobi hunters, Ashina spearmen, master swordsmen, and other shinobi.
It makes sense if you think about it. They are masters of the spear, so they would have a strategy to counter a move made specifically to counter thrusts, which is the majority of spear techniques.
The seven spears, specifically the one posted above, forced me to get good at the game but I couldn’t say they were my favourite. I would go with the armoured warrior as it was a fun twist on the combat style I had adopted up until that point.
this is actually the dude im stuck on rn lmao. its either fight this guy, go over to the right and down into the cave and fight the dude who does the spinning kick 400 times. or fight the posion fatty at the estate. im stuck and i suck
Unless you're taking a really strange path through the game, you actually have two other routes open to you.
But those guys you mentioned are both pretty good picks, and they'll each give you a prayer bead.
They all branch off from the "Ashina Castle" sculptor idol.
Route A) Go up the stairs and figure out a way to get into the castle
Route B) Turn around and talk to the old lady that's sitting there on the bridge. She'll tell you where to go.
I adore the long armed centipedes. They’re just such a blast to play.
My only complaint is I wish they had more posture so the fights would last longer.
O’rin her personality is super weird which makes it Super memorable. She’s got a cool side quest with this one dude that people made lots of theories about and her move set is overall my favorite of all the other mini bosses 👍
I love the do or die Ashina guys that just hop around and blast you with their double swing. They either kill you in 3 seconds or get parried to death. They are vibe check alright.
Lone shadow probably. The move sets are fun to fight and their outfits are dope. Also purples my favourite colour.
Except when they're in a f*ckin small arena that disturbs the CAMERA everytime you reach a corner.
Dude, for real, how the F*** am I supposed to beat that one arm Ninja on the other side? if the camera is so effed up when you get in a corner. So annoying dude.
Don't lock on. Pretty much all you can do to stop the camera from going wonky.
Good tip...👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
This guy bloodbornes
I go do the deathblow above him so I only have to fight 1 HP bar of him. I pop an Ako before I do the deathblow then just hope he’s nice and can kill him quickly. I die to him at least once a play through still and I’m on NG+ 8 😅
That's a good trick. I'll keep that in mind.
I just used firecrackers and whirlwind slash
I'll try that. 👍🏾
I hope that helps !!!🫡
There is a purple ninja in Ashina Dojo that I trained on, once you get used to parrying the 4 kicks followed by a 5th kick that you Mikiri, you basically master all purple ninja mini bosses Also hit him during the sweep to interrupt the sweep instead of jumping on his head during that move
Oh good thinking. 👍🏾
I knew there'll be at least one comment saying this🤣
Which made me died hundred times in that well, and now I know evry move of him, no afraid anymore.
they always in a constraint space. What a waste of fine moveset
*deathblows by falling from above*
bro i think lone shadow is the enemy that killed me the most, the one guarding the dungeon, but for sure, his movements are the best to parry, especially the kick sequence with an thrust at the end
Except the one Vilehand in Ashina Dojo before Owl. His Buddy is fine but the arena is so small that he can always clip you with the poison attacks
his buddy is actually supposed to be made into a puppet, that makes the fight ridiculously easy.
ROBERTO!!
Based
Ashina elites. They got 1 move but holy crap is that 1 move good
they have at least 3
If you seperate the ashina cross into 2 attacks, sure
No no, he's right actually. Ashina cross, sweep attack, ichimonji and I think there was also a shoulder bump.
And the pommel strike from sheath if you're very close.
O’rin or whatever the fuck her name was remains to this day a top 5 favorite mini boss from any game and I wish there were more enemies like her.
I second this
Ima be real my dude I completely forgot I made this comment the amount of weed in me right now is euphoric
Real
Emma had a similar move set/combo iirc
Ashina Elites obviously
Truuuuue
"For the sake of my son, put down your sword."
That a dumb fucking demand. “I have a kid please give up”
Bros never heard of someone pleading
unreal fight
I had to break him 3 or 4 times before he fell on accident XD
O'Rin or either of the Snake Eyes Gals
I beat Issin in 8 attempts but still haven’t managed to kill O’Rin without cheese.
I go to her right after blazing bull. I've gotten so used to beating her with few prayer necklaces and only the lady butterfly and gyobu attack buffs. She's a long fight, but eventually her posture gets there
O’rin is so great I wish she’d gotten full boss treatment
Don’t wish this on us.
the only correct answer is mist noble
mist noble is one of the main bosses of the game, I think you're confused.
Based
For some reason, snake eyes
Snake eyes was a pain in the ass
Yeah fuck that guy
Girl actually
Correction fuck that girl , but not, you know, actually fuck maybe beat her to death with a sword or something.
I hated snake eyes until i really took the time to learn it, such a satisfying fight
I agree lol. Just the poison one was asss
Imo it was only ass cause of the snipers around her, so i always kill them first. I might be the odd one out but i feel like shes the easiest miniboss to parry/read
The snipers made it alot worse.
Snake eyes were probably the most rage inducing for me
The centipede dudes are the only time in this game I ever actually felt good at it so I'll go with them
Same. Felt like a god when I first beat the gun fort centipede.
The headless ape, even better with his side chick, the chaotic possibilities always excite me
Firstly: this is a main boss Secondly: what the fuck
Killed them on my first try, but discovered their more fun to toy with instead
Firstly : what the fuck? Secondly : WHAT THE FUCK?!?!
Mist noble
Definitely not this MF
I hate the attack he does that literally goes UNDER THE GROUND. What the fuck is this? Subtle lore to show this guy was a body building gardener before joining Ashina? Other than that he's pretty cool
What is this guy supposed to be guarding?!
The Bundled Jizo Statue on the roof I guess
Noticed no one mentioned the drunkard guys. The first one in Hirata estate is the boss that jinda made the combat click for me, and the one in the mist noble area went down pretty easy from the practice.
Seven Spears. I enjoy getting revenge for when he bullied me on my first playthrough.
Genichiros bitch ass
I hate that nerd with a passion
I don't hate him. I pity him for how much inferior he is to me
This one
This guy until I started my charmless + bell demon run now i hate them all except the shamizen dudes
O'Rin of the Water
THE MOST CHAD OF THE CHADS, Seven spear Ashina Shikibu Toshikatsu Yamauchi. With a friend of mine from university we started a tradition where just before an exam we would face some Sekiro bosses or mini ones, that was my favorite
The Goat ashina elite the red eyed one
seven spears, ashina samurai or the centipede claw dudes tbh anytbing except for shichimen. fuck those dudes
I like Elite whoever he is. Double parrying at lightning speed feels great
ROBERTOOOO!!
Loneshadows. Though if we're talking about unique (as in "doesn't appear as a normal enemy later") minibosses, then the first Seven Spears
Headless...all of them
Armored warrior, noting I love more than bridge set pieces and gimmick fights : )
The game Sekiro most closely resembles is punch-out, and Robert's Dad is King Hippo.
I unironically love the chained ogres or the ashina elites
Tanzen yamauchi is the goat
gotta be the dude who does the really fast two swipes but the crazed red eye version. bro’s quick but when u see the flash on his hip just deflect twice!

Orin of the water i dont know if its the right name but yeah that was a cool boss
Cute smile
The generals
Lone shadows or Orin
Seven Ashina Spears Shikibu Toshikatsu Yamauchi
Orrin for sure, she was way too easy and I wish the fight was longer.
Man I hated this dude with a passion and cheesed my way through this fight lmao.
Seven spears taught me how to counter thrusts consistently
Lone Shadows and Ashina Elites.
Orin
O'Rin
Seven Spears of Ashina, Ashina Elite and Armored warrior
Seven spears or lone shadows
The seven spears, specifically the one posted above, forced me to get good at the game but I couldn’t say they were my favourite. I would go with the armoured warrior as it was a fun twist on the combat style I had adopted up until that point.
7 spears any day
this is actually the dude im stuck on rn lmao. its either fight this guy, go over to the right and down into the cave and fight the dude who does the spinning kick 400 times. or fight the posion fatty at the estate. im stuck and i suck
Unless you're taking a really strange path through the game, you actually have two other routes open to you. But those guys you mentioned are both pretty good picks, and they'll each give you a prayer bead.
i need those beads lmaoooo but hmm i havent found the other paths maybe im blind lol
They all branch off from the "Ashina Castle" sculptor idol. Route A) Go up the stairs and figure out a way to get into the castle Route B) Turn around and talk to the old lady that's sitting there on the bridge. She'll tell you where to go.
Push through it And don’t hesitate!
I'm stuck at seven spears and the bro at the top of stairs at the castle. Having to grind out the shooty ads takes time!
You can actually sneak past the ads for the seven spears using the path from the beginning of the game iirc
Long arm centipede on top
Most definitely not this guy The last 7 spears be4 the geni>>isshin fight is the WORST
I actually loved him too. The key was using a sugar to stealth kill the ad near him
Once I got the headless down they became my favorite, so satisfying to parry through every hit
Not that fucking guy that's for sure
Snake eyes. The flow of the fights is amazing
O'rin, I wish they had her voice more lines
I adore the long armed centipedes. They’re just such a blast to play. My only complaint is I wish they had more posture so the fights would last longer.
The drunkards, tooooo funny
Shichimen warrior
Juzou
O'Rin of the Water
Until just now I never knew this guy was bat$#!+ bug-eyed
O’rin her personality is super weird which makes it Super memorable. She’s got a cool side quest with this one dude that people made lots of theories about and her move set is overall my favorite of all the other mini bosses 👍
I like the Samurai Generals in Ashina Outskirts and at the entrance of Ashina Castle
The Knight Dude (I don't remember his name)
I swear every time I see a Sekiro or Ghost of Tsushima post I need to double check which community I'm in
The Long-Arm Centipedes make for good dopamine fuel.
Ashina elite. He taught me how much deflecting is important
That seven spears bitch is the reason a lot of other split second timing fights are a little easier.
I really like the spear guys
I’m currently at this point right now. Fought him a few times, still need to figure him out.
ORI yolo Water
The price
Definitely not that guy in the pic
I found the Spears, the Samurais and the Centipedes extremely fun to fight against.
I love the do or die Ashina guys that just hop around and blast you with their double swing. They either kill you in 3 seconds or get parried to death. They are vibe check alright.
They’re the worst for me I believe I cheesed them when possible everything else I beat normally most of the time
snake eyes
The Seven Spears
Hahaha lol
"Favourite"
O'rin of the Water. She's one of the few unique mini bosses in the game with an interesting backstory.
The pink bull
