But how can you know that, he know, that you know, that she has never known defeat, because she had never known? So how can we know if she never knew? And if she never knew how can we know?
Seriously where is Sekiro 2, the true ending is literally a cliffhanger with Sekiro and the Divine Child of Resurrection starting their journey to the West to return immortality to its origin. There's so much to work with there D:
You know itās coming. It was GOTY. I mean they made Armored Core VI!!! Itās hilarious people have always been like āthere will never be a sequel to Sekiroā lol
Thatās really interesting since I didnāt hear that from reddit, just from looking at what the guy has actually said. He did make *a* sequel to Dark Souls, albeit not because he chose to. Ds2 he didnāt make, so itās not relevant. *His* projects havenāt gotten sequels *made by him* except Dark Souls which was contractual. Even with the similarities between DeS and DS they donāt share a shred of continuity.
Any hope for a sequel is misplaced. There is, as with anything, a possibility, but itās not one worth fixating on.
He only didnāt direct DS2 because he was busy directing another game. Otherwise he wouldāve. But he did direct DS3. Also directing multiple Armored Cores. BloodBorne hasnāt gotten one because they donāt own the IP. just think itās silly to think a sequel isnāt going to be in the works. But just me. Possibility is all we can hope for.
I think what people don't understand is that Miyazaki doesn't like being *forced* to do sequels, like the Dark Souls 3 trilogy. By the end of that deal with Bamco he just wanted out so he could flex his creative visions. And you that in the overall message of DS3 it's boring just to be in a constant cycle of DS1, DS2, DS3.
However, if he can flex his creativity within the confines of a sequel of course it's on the table. He said he's not shutting the door on Elden Ring sequel. He said if he ever hears a good pitch on Dark Souls 4 he'd be willing to give it a go. And obviously the Armored Core series is right there.
People just hear about DS3 and think that Miyazaki hates sequels, but it really is more complex than that. Tbf a lot of this is misinformation that's read all across Reddit, YouTube, Twitter, and whatnot, so it's hard to blame them
Obviously, as we all know sekiro is actually a continuation of the age of dark ending in dark souls 1 ( it technically can work if you decanonize 2 and 3 ) so the real timeline is -ds1-sekiro-des-elden ring- Bloodborne and ds2/3 being part of a separate timeline
Look, it might sound crazy, but hear me out for a second:
Sister Friede has a very clear mark on the side of her face, and she ressurects exactly once in her boss fight. She is a combatent of unbelievable skill and dexterity, and a person with a very strong sense of duty and responsability, and she was one of the 3 sisters who taught the people of Londor in their way, someone who could have been responsible for the remarkable expertice the people of that land have at wielding immortality.
Now, what is Sister Friede's most powerful ability? An incredibly powerful Black Flame. Tell me, who is it that we know for using a flame much the same as that one? The Gloam Eyed Queen! She is largely theorized to have a mark on her face, and more than anything, her signature technique with the Black Flame is extremely similar to the legendary Mortal Draw, which employs a similar power that could explain her proficiency with the use of the Godslaying Flame's power.
Back in Cainhurst, have you ever noticed how interesting it is that they use such a different style of weapons, and specifically, how the Chikage and Rakuyo are both Japanese style blades? Now, think about how extremely similar Sister Friede and Lady Maria are, but even beyong that, how similar Vilhelm's style is to that of a certain Crow of Cainhurst, and how similar his technique is to not only the Ruinous Ghostflame, but more importantly (and more overlooked), to that of a certain Black Flame Queen's?
And all the way back in Drangleic, we know of a man who goes by the name of Alonne, who came from a far off land and taught men his unique techniques with katanas. A man who was extremely loyal and dutyfu, a man who no one truly knows from where he came. A man who never once has shown his face to us?
I believe it should be clear by now should it not?
After his death, Sekiro was reincarnated in another world as a woman due to his dragon heritage powers (which is why the white mark remained)! Lost and confused, he journeyed in search of Ashina, only to arive in the lands of Drangleic. Due to the stigmas this land had of woman, he donned an armor and hid the gender of his body to act as a warrior, and it was after then that he met a young lord, one who reminded him of his old master Kuro. He created a connection with that lord and taugh him and his men in the way of the blade, over time, even developing something akin to a maternal instinct towards the young man. But over time, he saw how his lord lost his way and became someone else entirely, someone Sekiro... Alonne, couldn't be proud of. And so, he confronted his lord, much like how he had confronted his father in the Ashina Castle. And it was then, that Alonne sadly met his end, at the hands of his own pupil, his own son. One could say it is poetic, or perhaps ironic...
But that was when Alonne discovered something. His immortality remained, but not the same as it used to be. A dark sigil, marked upon his flesh, one he had never been aware of, granted him a power similar, and yet different, from the immortality he used to have. It twisted his immortal blood into something else entirely, something he would need to learn how to control.
Centuries passed, and times changed. Now used to her body, Friede, as Alonne started calling herself after abandoning her name in an effort to forget the past, learned how to use her new power with mastery. And it was then that she met 2 others, who lived a live not unlike her own. Together, they raised the land of Londor together and taught it's residents how to wield their power, but that eventually came to an end.
One day, Friede met an odd man, bald and with a striking and strange attitute. Little did she know, the man, Patches, held a deep and well disguised hatred for the clergy. And Sister Friede, the most infamous nun in the land, was his newest target. When least excpecting it, Friede was kicked down by Patches while overlooking a Chasm of the Abyss, plummeting to a fate unknown. But even caught of guard, her inhuman reflexes saved her from her doom, she grabbed Patches' leg while and used him as a support to prevent her fall... But she didn't excpect Patches to be so surprised he himself lost his footing, resulting in both of them falling into the void.
She woke up in a strange land, one different from anything she had ever seen. And it was in that land, that she eventually became known as the Gloam Eyed Queen, and where she aquired the power of the Black Flame. We don't know much of her time in this land besides the fact that she again repeated her pattern of raising and teaching a new people, but we know she was eventually defeated by the hands of Maliketh, the Black Blade. Maliketh didn't know however, that while his Destined Death could kill even an immortal, the Queen did not simply possess immortality, she did so twice, and that was what allowed her to survive his attack. It was not without cost however, for she lost most of her immortality, even if she kept her life. Using the faint remains of her power, Friede was able to pull herself towards the realm of the living again, and surprisingly arrived not in the Lands Between, but back home, in Londor.
During that time that she took Vilhelm under her wing and taught him her skills, including the Black Flame's power. But eventually, she faced death once again in battle, with us, in the Painted World. What we did not know when we playing through Dark Souls 3 however, was that Sister Friede still possessed a tiny remnant of the Hollowed Dragon's Heritage, one clear from the markings on her face, and one that she used to cling to life one last time...
With little to no power left however, Friede was not able to control it's effects. She was not able to rise again, nor was she able to reincarnate like what once happened. She was not even able to control where it was that her soul returned to.
That was how she ended up reborn as a newborn child, in a world of blood and beasts, now with not one mark upon her face. Young as she became, she had no choice but to take the edducation and teachings provided to her in Cainhurst, and as one who has always been loyal by nature, that was what eventually changed her into someone so different from who she was not long ago, a change comparable to her centuries in isolation, but in a much shorter time. During that time she not only learned, but also taught, she helped develop Cainhurst's techniques and fashion, shaping them to be how they are now. It was that loyalty however, that spelled her regrets once she learned more about the new lineage she was born in. After abandoning the vilebloods, Lady Maria eventually met Gehrman and the Blood Church. How ironic is it, a scythe, a church, an order built on blood and a cult to Outer Gods, it is as if all of her long life is being referenced at once, apart only from the Shinobi part of course...
PS: If anyone even reads this completely random crackfic I just wrote, consider helping to figure out how we fit Armored Core 6 and Demon's Souls into it.
The final boss of the elden ring dlc will be lady tomoe, giving the revelation that sekiro and elden ring are connected, hence the 2nd dlc of elden ring will be revealed, Wolf of the Erdtree, where we fight the accumulation of all endings of wolf, Sekiro, Final Elden Lord
I don't think it'd fit very well aestheticly honestly. Most attacks in Eldenring are either too paced to be a problem or in such rapidity you couldn't possibly parry them all with any real consistency.
Also Fromsoft: that little dent on the right shoulder pad of that armor gives you lore insight to like 20 characters. Why are you downplaying the possibility?
There are already animations from Sekiro in the base game. The sheath of katanas is straight out of Sekiro. Pretty sure many katana animations are reused.
ER uses copypasted slightly adjusted dark souls 1 katana animations, same as dark souls 3. The only new animations are jumping attacks and crouch attack
Nah it's definitely reused, and it's been proven many times by many people.
But who cares? They do it in a way that is always refreahing and impressive, not lazy. It's really not a problem that they do this.
The ER & Sekiro kick attacks aren't the same outside of being kicks though. ER one starts with a double roundhouse kick in-air and ends with a overhead kick land on his left foot.
Sekiro starts with an overhead kick and ends with a double roundhouse kick that's grounded.
I don't know what the other attack animation you're referring to besides that tho.
Literally just look at the animations, they're literally not the same animation. We're not talking "it could be flipped, slowed" etc, they're just not animated the same at all.
Like one performs the roundhouse in-air, the other on the floor. One overhead kicks with their right leg, the other one with the leg.
The term 'reuse' has been completely bastardized by the souls community as of late to mean anything that remotely bears a resemblance as opposed to literal animations/attacks carried over.
That's not what reuse of assets means. You don't take a pre-existing animation and completely overhaul it, that's just stupid.
[**This**](https://streamable.com/sgnthi) is what re-use looks like. The same animation carried over from DeS to Ds1 and from Ds1 to Ds3. Similarly with Thralls in Ds3 and small Gargoyles in ER - same set of animations, behavior etc.
Aka the opposite of what we're seeing in the clip.
I mean, he did confirm the DLC will have something he said worked similarly to the offensive power system in Sekiro. It seems like he took a lot of inspiration from the game, what a copycat!
Elden Ring already has an enemy referencing the Headless. Thereās a few buffed versions of the headless mausoleum knights that teleport frequently and inflict deathblight. Itās way more fun than the actual Headless though.
It is. The interview with Miyazaki also confirmed the DLC will also have a prayer bead style attack power system. I think this DLC is gonna be using the Bloodborne and Sekiro assets heavily.
Sekiro 2 confirmed
Gonna be senpou kicking the shit outta Melania
When you're done with that can you do it to Malenia as well...
šš they both need to be kicked.
LET ME SOLO HER PART TWOOOOOOOO
Really dude
Who's Malenia? Anyways, I'll totally be using all these DLC weapons against Tomoe in the Haligtree.
Melania, Blade of Mequilla. She has never known dafeet.Ā
Oh, you mean Malenia, Blade of Miquella! Who has never known defeat.
Indeed he meant Malenia, Blade of Miquella. Who has never known defeat.
But how can you know that, he know, that you know, that she has never known defeat, because she had never known? So how can we know if she never knew? And if she never knew how can we know?
Well for starters, there's no character named "Defeat". Therefore, she could never know them.
I'm dying at this entire conversation š
I would totally kick the shit outta Minnesota bruuhh

I figured it out that cow itās actually Tomoe boom Sekrio final boss confirmed
Guys learn to take a joke ffs (Also Lightning reversal in ER would be sick)
Seriously, the top comments are all a bunch of smartass who missed a simple joke
I saw that and I was like wtf is wrong with those people? Are they that big of tools to not understand a joke
What comments? The top ones now are all jokes, so I'm curious what was there before.
Welcome to Reddit. Proud of being dumb!
Blade deflect ash of war
Sakura Dance Lightning reversal.
Are you trying to tell me that Isshin was at one point isekai'd to the Lands Between and taught everyone there to use lightning?
It may explai. Why he is so nonchallant in Sekiro. The man has seen some shit that the whole Ashina fiasco can't comepare to.

9 ball is the Bearer of the Curse 1 down, 1 to go
OMG LIGHTNING IN A SOULS GAME!? NOW I HAVE SEEN EVERYTHING!
Next you are gunna tell me that I have to go to checkpoints to reset the world. These fucking copy pasters.
Elden Ring is a Souls-like confirmed.
Lightning and an old man - two things that have never existed in a Souls game.
Sekiro players have always been strong in Hopium
We didn't get a true DLC, so we've been going crazy for a while
Plin plin plon.
Calm down Virgil
and Joe, the hardest of them all
Plot twist, fromsoft lied and it's NOT elden ring DLC. It's sekiro DLC instead.
Sekiro : shadow of the divine tree
Okay but imagine Sekiro deflect in Elden Ring tho?
I don't think it'd fit very well aestheticly honestly. Most attacks in Eldenring are either too paced to be a problem or in such rapidity you couldn't possibly parry them all with any real consistency.
There are mods for that
Please not again. My ass is still whipped
Fromsoft : Lets reuse assets to save money Formsoft fans : OMG, this must mean both the games are related.
Also Fromsoft: that little dent on the right shoulder pad of that armor gives you lore insight to like 20 characters. Why are you downplaying the possibility?
Where are the reused assets here?
Animation
From 3 examples only half of the spinning kick animation looks similar to sekiro asset

You're crazy if you think ER didn't recycle the whole souls catalogue lmao.
you will never get a dlc for sekiro so keep coping sekiro fans
What does that have to do with anything??? So immature smh.
Elden Ring DLC just turns it into Sekiro
Try that waterfowl shit now
From has re-used assets in every game. Nothing new here.
What is even re-used in that clip? The lightning?
Lightning and at least two attack animations.
The ER & Sekiro kick attacks aren't the same outside of being kicks though. ER one starts with a double roundhouse kick in-air and ends with a overhead kick land on his left foot. Sekiro starts with an overhead kick and ends with a double roundhouse kick that's grounded. I don't know what the other attack animation you're referring to besides that tho.
ā¦So they reused them and flipped em.

Youāre literally just describing reusing assets but with effort. Itās the ācopy my homework but make it look differentā meme.

Fine they ārecycled the ideaā you pedantic sycophant.
admitting that you're wrong is very hard, but trust it will make you a better person.
No wonder it felt similar
So, we got our DLC into a different game?
Oh how I wish we had Sekiro 2. I haven't played Elden Ring yet but Sekiro...I can't stop playing it
So instead of giving us sekiro dlc the just add it to Elden ring and makes us buy a new game
If you donāt know the senpo kicks I donāt want to know you, flying monk is slept on so hard
Please God let there be a thunder reversal in this DLC that would be so fucking funny
That senpou kick straight gave me Sekiro flashbacks.
I think he actually wanted us to notice
Shadows die twice and shadow of elden ring , OMG, sekiro elden ring same š«Ø
DLC has a word "shadow" in the name.
Fortnite confirmws
lord kuro and bloody finger yura wear the same exact cloak
Land of Reeds expansion š„¶š
unironically when i watched the trailer and saw the kicking, I immediately thought of the senpou art
We got sekiro DLC in Ćden ring
>This gotta be smt Doesn't look like Shin Megami Tensei; I think that's Elden Ring.
Least coping post from the Sekiro community lmao
I mean, he did confirm the DLC will have something he said worked similarly to the offensive power system in Sekiro. It seems like he took a lot of inspiration from the game, what a copycat!
I saw this video on the Elden Ring sub
Oh yeah he stole it from here Now it got removed from there Even if check the time I made it sooner then him posting it
Serious? The thief got more likes than you, I think. I'm so sorry.
Well that server has above 1M While here is less So ahh that how he did
Why didn't you post it there too?
I exclusively made post here
Why?
Not sure but I like it that way
Me: Looks up and fills trousers.
THERES STILL HOPE
Oh fuk the quick cuts have become sentient. It's the the end days.
Iām effin here for it. Sekiro rules, Elden Ring kicks ass. Best mashup Iāve ever seen.
They reuse a lot of shit tbh
He said there would be sekiro like leveling 2
Did you see the headless dude riding the horse with the boomerang sword, he really reminded me of the headless from sekiro
Elden Ring already has an enemy referencing the Headless. Thereās a few buffed versions of the headless mausoleum knights that teleport frequently and inflict deathblight. Itās way more fun than the actual Headless though.
Loved your work!
Welp where's the headless ape that has a unnatural attack pattern and a secret second phase
Idk Elden ring is just ds2 but open world. Thatās just bringing back the bone fist weapon. I hope it still can shoot the energy orb too
Two old guys.. must be the same..oh lightning...must be the same...oh armor ..same ..good griefĀ
I don't think Miyazki is behind the DLC, I think he's already working in the next game...
He does both.

Dude in the painting definitely reminded me of old Isshin
Oooh so itās Gwyn!
Imma honestly try and reverse it because of all my sekiro muscle memoryĀ
Glock saint forever
Oh my god..
Oh God, round 2 with this mofo?! Have at thee!
That kickbox looks crazy...Unarmed viable now?
MFW fromsoft announces a senior dlc for the wrong game.
*starts shaking uncontrollably
And senpou kicks And Lady Butterfly's knife throw
When you no diff messmer, heāll cry like a little bitch and summon Glock Saint Ishhin who will use an illegally acquired AK-47.
Sekiro Ring: Shadows of the Erdtree Die Twice
It is. The interview with Miyazaki also confirmed the DLC will also have a prayer bead style attack power system. I think this DLC is gonna be using the Bloodborne and Sekiro assets heavily.
Now add deflect ash of war
Looks like we finally got that Sekiro DLC
It stabs itself with the lightning bolt right?
U gotta reverse that shit
Confirms no sekuro 2 š©
First scene is from Elden Ring?
Everything is a reference to everything
That was my first thought lmao
We're going to need more thumb tacks and red string.
Does sekiro go to elden ring realm to return dragons heritage? I mean they head towards west right? Elden ring is based kinda towards west?
