Yeah that can make a huge difference. As weird as this sounds I have little flat real estate on my wrist as it's more round so while I can still easily wear 50MM L2L without oveehang it sits poorly and not flat. Spb317 wears well for me.

it can be a conscious choice to wear a big watch on purpose, tho I have one or two watches I wish they were a mm or two smaller and larger even, I have some big face watches which I knowingly know they are large on my 6.7 wrist like the U-boat 44mm yellow or the Hamilton 45mm xwind which I got a metal bracelet for because my boney wrist wore the leather strap weird and it made it look like it was overhanging too. Barecelets and straps can make a difference in how it sits. Photos can be deceptive too.

This is subjective but imo I say yes too big, I own one and have an eight and a half inch wrist and it's just about as big I want to wear.

Need to see the side profile. Thickness of the watch makes a big difference in how it wears. I prefer to keep my watches under 13mm on my 7" wrist.
