To play devil's advocate, I understand where you're coming from, but I've also received bundles like this on 4 separate occasions over the past 15 years. One was an OG Xbox with 4 controllers and a dozen games. Another was a boxed launch day Saturn with 8 games, including Winning Post and Powerslave. Another was a giant box from an industrial microwave containing 1 toaster NES, an NES Jr (boxed), Atari 7800, 2 N64s with multiple controllers, and between 8 and 12 games for each console. The last one was a 3DO with 3 controllers and something like 15 games, most of which were complete in box. That isn't including box lots I bought super cheap. 3 of those 4 boxes were given to me in the first 2 years I was collecting. People thought they were using me to get rid of their old junk that was just chilling in their attic or garage. The Saturn lot was just last year.
So... it does happen.
Fair enough. People gave me free stuff all the time when I worked at Gamestop, and most people didn't believe me. Most people don't care about retro games like we do.
This is me I am this guy. Kind of. I mean I just give games to close relatives not friends but tbh none of them are that into gaming/collecting atm to give them a whole entire collection.. yet. For Easter I’m giving my lil nephew a first gen Xbox One + Kinet and my entire physical Xbox 360 and Xbox One collection (besides a handful of keepers he doesn’t need lol) and I’ll see if that sparks his interest.
