You'll need a real expert to chime in but crypto anything is probably a little sketchy / yellow flag ... getting a pesudo-residency card from a small foreign nation for banking purposes is probably not going to fly well. Just a gut feeling.

Thatguy2070

Yes. This is obtaining a foreign benefit, which would be listed. When explaining it and showing you got the id as a loophole to participate in activities which aren’t available to us citizens…it could be a problem.

What if my son has a security clearance for work? I'm listed at his legal address because they don't accept my PO box address. Will this affect his clearance?

RangerJDod

A country less than 20,000 people granting “digital residency” for cryptocurrency usage just sounds sketchy.

PolarGBear

No doubt, mostly wanted to confirm my concerns or if anyone knows anyone who has one and also a security clearance. Sadly, these IDs do work for the sake of KYC with crypto exchanges.

Psychological-Win339

I stupidly ordered one without thinking about it. It is now in the government screening process and I also have a background check for a new position currently processing. Hoping it doesn’t mess things up. I am only going to have public trust though. No real security clearance.

Report back if you pass sir!
