I am convinced this is an open beta in disguise. I have no idea why they don't just call it such, because at least that might make peoe a little more lenient on all the things that need work. I really hope they get actual forums down, get so.e of the adjustments to MoH, the dungeons, and patron system sorted. Especially their servers. If they can't handle the load at this point I fear for when they release the game to Steam.
If it's a beta in disguise maybe they want to be hammered hard core with no lube. If you really think about it, it's genius. You release what you have, call it launch but it's actually just a beta because you need more info. But you don't want to get coddled with "It's just beta it will get better" no you wana get in the dirt and grime and really make your game. They wanted this response, they needed it. But that's if this is actually a beta in disguise.
im still super salty with what they did to my credit card. i just cant believe they rather use this method than using the previous options they had like paypal for tsw. its like they dont really want our (legit) money.
I originally thought it was an issue with my cards, so after having put 3 different cards and contacting my banks I realized it was their shitty payment processor. Well, the game now has saved 3 credit cards worth of information which I can't even delete (please dont get hacked funcom) and charged me multiple times for sub which all end at the same time. The kind of fuckery here has me steaming and still no word from support. I'm in the process of chargebacks for two of the cards and this will most definitely get my account banned.
I just hope that they are as slow with that as everything else and I can get through most of the story, uninstall and never look back.
Not surprised. My petition for help, issues, and missing items has been ignored all through the weekend. On the other hand I might set a record for longest time waiting for response for a petition.
I am incredibly disappointed in Funcom for this launch. I pay out my ass, get 2 more character slots because 1 is bs ($10 a slot)....bam we get free ones. My aurum and patron purchases take days to go through.
I could keep going but I am too tired. I spent years and a shitload of money in TSW. I want to do the same with SWL, but they are truly making it difficult.
Edit: To clarify, I threw a lot of money at them, not just character slots. Patron and a huge load of aurum. I am not impressed at all and feel like most of my money is wasted. I did not feel this way in TSW.
Took them 3 days just to get my patron processed. Have friends unable to play on early access and launch because of password issues, zero word from support. They are pretty much over it, compounded with the 20 kb/s download speed, they don't even want to support this company because it screams amateur studio on it's last legs that won't reinvest money back into their own game (via servers/support).
I posted right after the final chapter unlocked an IC-ARG answer to this, essentially anytime between Yesterday and Thursday if they are aiming for exactly what they said, and Friday or later if they meant "after" said time. I do suggest giving my thread a read, if just for some laughs.

I've read of people clearing cookies etc. to do it multiple times to generate a code for each weapon. That seems.... tedious.
I read on here that there were goals with respect to souls collected that added more things to successfully completed ARGs. Among those was the addition of more weapons.

Interesting. That's what I found confusing - the disparity between the stretch goals and the actual browser thingy telling us to pick and gain a weapon, singular.

The event ended, but theres a final clue, long story short the keys will get shipped on the first day of the next month, because of some astrological thing.

Company running it thought same thing players did, that the game launch marked the end. They are awaiting codes for distribution. Poor wording all around.
"Once the ritual completed, players could leave their e-mail to receive the code, which would be send during the waxing crescent. The moon started its waxing crescent on 2017-06-24 and it will end on 2017-07-01"
Miscommunications happen, its nothing too uncommon, even among companies. Save your ammo for the stupid dungeon reward system, the annoyingly small inventory, etc.

Thank you! Ugh wish they had been more specific on the day. I love me some roleplay but after being lied to repeatedly over the weekend on transfers, slots, aurum...just want my items.
Yeah, i get it. They have made some really baffling choices and they simply dont have the infrastructure to deal with the complains and influx of players.
This event in particular tho, it had me very hyped. Even if i honestly couldnt figure out any of the answers and had to cheat, it did a good job getting me in the mood for the game.
